군 입대 전후의 성의식 및 태도

군인들은 개인보다 조직을 우선시하고 상명하복의 위계체계, 개인 사생활 보장 제한 등의 군 특수성 속에서 행동이 억제되고 긴장과 복종이 요구되는 생활로 인해 비교적 높은 스트레스를 받고 있다. 또한 젊은 나이와 왕성한 활동성에 비해 성적인 행동에 있어서는 제한적이고 소극적일 수밖에 없다. 그러다보니 간혹 스트레스 해소와 억눌렸던 성적 욕구의 발산을 위해 성매매나 성 폭행, 성추행과 같은 부적절하고 일탈된 행동을 보이기도 한다. 따라서 이러한 현상들과 원인을 이해하기 위해 20대 초반 남성의 일반적인 성의식 및 태도와 현역병과 입대 장정의 성 의식과 행동의 차이를 알아보았다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 20대 초반의 일반적인 성의식과 태도에서는 첫째, 성적으로 개방화되고 관대한 경향을 보인다는 것이다. 사회 환경의 변화와 인터넷의 영향으로 성 관련 매체 접촉은 청소년 초기에 이미 대다수가 경험을 하였고, 성에 대한 지식은 주로 인터넷이나 동료, 선배들을 통해 습득하고 있었으며 성관계 역시 상당수가 고등학교 졸업 이전에 경험을 하고 있었다. 또한 첫 성관계 상대는 주로 애인이었으나, 단순한 친구사이나 만난 지 얼마 되지 않은 기간에도 성관계가 상당수 이루어지고 있었는데, 이는 남성 뿐 아니라 여성도 성적으로 개방적인 자세를 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있겠다. 군 입대를 이유로 성매매를 한 경험도 과거 조사결과에 비해 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 성에 대한 이중적인 견해를 가지고 있었다. 성에 대해 개방되고 관대한 경향을 보이면서도 남녀에 성 차별성을 가지고 있었는데, 사랑한다면 성관계를 할 수 있다거나 사랑과 성관계는 별개라는 인식을 하고 있으면서도 여자는 순결을 지켜야 한다는 의견도 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 동성애자에 대해서는 대부분이 편견을 가지고 있었으며, 일부 응답자는 성 정체성 혼란을 가지고 있었는데 원인은 남성의 역할과 책임에 대한 부담과 생물학적인 욕구에 의한 것으로 나타났다. 현역병과 입대 장정의 성 의식과 태도에서는 첫째, 현역병이 입대 장정 에 비해 성에 대해 개방적인 태도를 보이고 있었지만 그것이 군 복무 기간과 연관성은 찾을 수는 없었다. 둘째, 성 욕구나 충동 요인은 두 집단 모두 유사한 결과가 나왔지만, 현역병은 입대 장정에 비해 성 충동을 별로 느끼지 않는다는 응답이 높았다. 셋째, 성 욕구 해소방법에서는 두 집단 모두 운동이나 인터넷 게임을 통해서 해소한다는 응답이 가장 높았고 그냥 참는다는 응답이 그 다음으로 나타났다. 입대 장정의 경우 자위행위를 통해 성 충동을 해소하는 경향이 있었으나 현역병은 그 정도가 낮았다. 넷째, 성 추행의 기준에 있어 현역병에 비해 입대 장정이 사소한 행위에도 성 추행으로 인식하고 있었으며 군 생활 중 성 추행이나 성 관련 사고가 일어날 가능성에 대해서도 현역병보다 입대 장정이 실제보다 높게 인식하고 있었다. 다섯째, 군에서 받은 성 교육이 별로 도움 되지 않는다는 응답이 높게 나타났고 성 교육의 개선과 성 상담의 필요성을 인식하고 있었다. 본 연구는 병사들을 대상으로 성의식과 성 행동에 대해 실태를 조사하고 성 문화를 이해할 수 있는 자료를 제공하였으며, 군대 내 성교육의 방향과 성 상담의 필요성을 부각시켰다는데 의의가 있다. 반면 병사들이 군 생활동안 성적인 욕구를 덜 느낀다는 설문결과 이면에 여전히 줄지 않고 끊임없이 발생하는 영내․외 성 군기 사고에 대해 병사들의 스트레스 해소와 아울러 성적인 욕구를 적절히 해소할 수 있는 환경을 만들어 줘야 함을 시사한다.

손등혈관 영상의 회전보상에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 혈관패턴을 이용한 생체인식 시스템의 성능향상을 위한 회전보상 알고리즘을 제안하고 있다. 기존의 제안된 회전보상 알고리즘은 실시간 시스템 환경을 요구하는 생체인식 시스템에 적용하기엔 많은 계산량의 증가로 인한 여러 가지 부하증가 요인을 가지고 있어 이점을 개선한 회전보상 알고리즘을 본 논문에서 제안한다. 제안된 회전보상 알고리즘은 회전보상 성능은 기존의 제안되었던 회전보상 알고리즘과 비교해 떨어지지 않으면서 계산량의 감소를 가져왔다. 본 논문에서 제안한 회전보상 알고리즘은 실시간의 시스템 환경을 요구하는 생체인식 시스템에 적용하기에 기존의 제안된 회전보상 알고리즘에 비해 더 효율적이라는 것을 알 수 있다. This paper presents an algorithm which effectively compensates the rotation distortion of input images to hand vascular pattern biometric system. Since the main reason of the performance degradation of hand vascular pattern system in terms of false rejection rate (FRR) performance is the rotational distortion of input image, rotational distortion should be corrected. One constraint in the compensation is that it should be performed in real time, thus reducing the computation time is of utmost importance. A conventional algorithm takes too much computation time to be adopted as a real time algorithm. The proposed algorithm expects the rotational distortion angle in advance, so that it reduces the computation time dramatically, although the compensation performance is comparable to the conventional algorithm.

This study attempts to investigate the effect of time in modern fashion and expression characteristics regarding futuristic fashion by achieving understanding on time perspective appearing in fashion trend and analysis of futuristic fashion according to time perspective through observation on futuristic fashion, which has been frequently discussed in modern fashion world. In order to achieve this, philosophical and scientific concept of time, definition of futurism, developmental process of futurism, and its expression methods have been established through literary introspection and expression characteristics of futuristic fashion have been analyzed through case study to present the following results. First, the concept of time defined by scholars is largely classified into time flowing separately from the existence of humans, objective time gradually progressing through the development of science and civilization, subjective time centered on human perceptions and imaginations, and circulatory time possessing regular cycle. Such concept of time also differently expresses perspective of time viewing from culture, history, philosophy, and art. Second, the concept of time within fashion, a field of arts, reflects future, a continuous and integrated form of time, to display fashion reflecting the past, present, and future. Thus, time of the past can be drawn to express in the present while future can be predicted based on the present. Thus, the flow of objective, subjective and circulatory time perspectives is achieved by being continuously applied within past, present and future time. Third, time concept in futuristic fashion centered on time perspective that is defined by scholars has aroused futuristic fashion due to objective time perspective and scientific and innovative change due to flow of objective time perspective. Furthermore, futuristic fashion from the subjective perspective can be known in fashion defined by subjective time perspective through futuristic costumes within SF movies. In fashion belonging to circulatory time perspective, circulatory time perspective can be expressed as a trend flow of futuristic fashion which possesses changing fashion trends according to the passing of time. Fourth, expression characteristics of futuristic fashion that has developed and transformed according to coexisting time perspective have been classified into no-boundary, decentration, interaction, and high-technology according to objective and subjective time perspectives. Futuristic fashion according to objective time perspective has expressed vagueness of boundaries by using elaborate colored geometrical designs and patterns as well as transparent material as expressive characteristics of no-boundary to express a more dimensional, dynamic, and sensual form of beauty by designers. Furthermore, material that deviates from previous non-daily materials of vinyl, metal, and plastic have been used in decentered expression characteristic to diverge from the center through futuristic mechanical image expression in order to efficiently express futuristic fashion that attempts new challenges. Interaction has emphasized the functional factor for delivering practicality and efficiency of wearer, while high-technology has accentuated scientific and innovative futuristic fashion through cutting-edge technology. Interaction and high-technology have been used as compromising expression methods as they are the most appropriate expression factors in expressing the future, a space of new time created by scientific and mechanical development. Futuristic fashion designed through scientific development is treated as expression method representing interaction and high-technology. Futuristic fashion according to subjective time perspective is displayed through internal world costumes through SF movies. Costumes shown in SF movies have expressed no-boundary and decentration in future-oriented method by using glossy material vitalizing geometrical characteristics as well as transparent, metal, and plastic material. In particular, exposure of sexual parts and compromise of outerwear and underwear well exhibit the characteristics of no-boundary and decentration in futuristic fashion. Furthermore, high-technology costumes that efficiently express emphasized body line and beauty of human instinct through cutting-edge technology are displayed in costume for expressing progressed society. Although movie costumes have not progressed more than futuristic collection costume due to scientific and technological development in the aspect of color, pattern, detail, it is well-harmonized with futuristic image within movie to efficiently express future, an aspect of unimaginable inner world through expression characteristic of futuristic fashion. Such futuristic fashion has continuously developed from 1910 to present day, and futuristic fashion expression characteristics of no-boundary, decentration, interaction, and high-technology are well expressed through geometrical designs and patterns, non-daily material, kinetic art, and smart costumes that are important in expressing futurism. Furthermore, futuristic fashion is continuously progressing in color, material, detail, and functionality and developed into a place of new challenge. Thus, time concept referring to futuristic fashion and flow and accompanying expression characteristics of fashion can be understood by analyzing expression characteristics within new conceptual search for understanding futuristic fashion within the continuity of past, present, and future and time concept of futuristic fashion.

칼 바르트와 폴 틸리히의 계시이해 비교연구

인류의 역사가 지속되는 동안 없어지지 않을 질문들이 있다면 그 중에는 반드시 계시에 관한 물음이 있을 것이다. 그 만큼 계시에 관한 물음과 이해는 인간 실존에 있어서 끊이지 않을 궁금증이기 때문이다. 따라서 계시에 대해 올바른 이해와 깊은 관심을 기울이는 것은 매우 중요하다. 특별히 그리스도인이라 자청하는 우리들에게 있어서 그 중요성은 더욱 커진다. 그리스도교에 있어서 계시의 역할과 중요성은 감히 따질 수 없을 만큼 중요하며 그리스도교의 핵심이기 때문이다. 지금까지 우리는 바르트와 틸리히 두 신학자의 계시 이해를 고찰하며 비교해보았다. 20세기를 대표하는 그들의 계시 이해는 여러 면에서 상이점을 보였으며 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그들은 신정통주의 신학자로 불렸지만 신학방법론에 있어서 출발점을 달리하였다. 바르트는 위로부터의 계시를 강조하는 신학방법론이었던 반면에 틸리히는 인간의 실존상황에서 질문이 시작되는 신학방법론을 말하고 있다. 또한 계시의 범위에 관하여 바르트는 교회를 기초로 하여 교회를 위한 신학과 계시 이해를 했다면 틸리히는 계시의 범위를 단지 교회에 국한시키는 것이 아닌 종교문화사까지 확장하였다. 그리고 하나님에 대한 이해에 있어서 바르트가 전적 타자로서 질적 차이를 지니며 인격적인 하나님을 말했다면 틸리히는 존재의 근거로서 절망가운데 있는 우리에게 용기를 북돋아 주시는 분으로 이해하였다. 하나님을 인격적이라고 말하기 보다는 모든 인격적인 것의 근거로 틸리히는 이해하였다. 한편 예수 그리스도에 관하여 바르트는 계시의 삼중적 양태로서 하나님 자체이신 분으로 이해한 반면 틸리히는 그리스도로서의 예수는 새로운 존재로서 인간과 동일한 실존적 상황속에 있으면서 존재 자체이신 하나님과 완전히 하나가 된 자로 보았다. 성서 이해에 있어서도 바르트는 계시의 삼중적 양태의 하나로 성서를 지목하지만, 틸리히는 성서를 상징으로서의 계시로 이해하여 성서의 언어를 궁극적 관심에 대한 상징으로 말하였다. 이상과 같은 차이점에도 불구하고 그들의 계시 이해는 유사점도 발견된다. 비록 강조하는 방향과 공간적 이해가 다르긴 하였지만 바르트와 틸리히 모두 하나님의 초월성을 강조했다는 공통점을 지닌다. 또한 예수가 계시의 궁극적이며 결정적인 계시라는 것에 동의하며, 마찬가지로 성서를 하나님의 계시에 매우 중요한 매개체로 보았던 점에서 그들의 계시 이해는 유사점을 지닌다고 할 수 있다. 그렇다면 두 신학자의 계시 이해와 비교를 바탕으로 하여 우리에게 남겨진 과제는 무엇인가? 바르트와 틸리히 모두 계시론에 있어서 큰 공헌과 공로가 있다. 계시 이해에 있어서 시대적 사조를 거부하고 새로운 전환점을 가져온 바르트와 인간 실존에 집중하여 이에 대한 물음에 답하는 신학으로서의 계시에 초점을 둔 틸리히 모두 지난 세기의 신학자들이지만 지금도 우리에게 미치는 영향력은 크다고 할 수 있다. 우리는 그들의 장점을 현 시대의 상황에 맞게 재해석하여 기독교 메시지를 효과적으로 전달하며 계시에 대한 바른 이해를 돕도록 더욱 노력해야 한다. 이것은 무조건적으로 현대의 상황을 강조하여 신학의 정체성을 잃어버리는 것을 뜻하지 않는다. 바르트가 위로부터의 계시를 강조하며 기독교의 정체성을 수호하고자 한 그의 정신은 이런 면에서 높이 살만하다. 그러나 우리는 상황에 주목하며 그들에게 답하는 것이 신학의 본질이라고 말한 틸리히의 발언에도 귀를 기울여야 한다. 극단적인 근본주의로 치우치는 것이 옳지 않은 것처럼. 마찬가지로 기독교의 정체성을 버리면서 진리를 희석시키는 일도 있어서는 안된다. 우리는 그들의 신학적 체계와 계시 이해의 장점들을 되살리면서 교회에 올바른 신학적 방향성을 제시하며 세상의 질문에 답변하도록 노력해야 한다. 그러기 위해서는 그들의 계시 이해를 바탕으로 한 지속적인 연구들, 특히 신학 내 여러 분야와의 연계 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 한다. 계시 이해를 계시론에 국한지어 연구할 것이 아니라 다양한 분야들과 함께 비교하며 연구하는 노력이 있어야 한다. 이는 기독교 진리인 계시에 대하여 좀 더 포괄적이고 통전적인 이해를 가능하게 해 줄 것이다. 또한 세상의 여러 학문들과 대화하며 협력하려는 노력을 겸비해야 할 것이다. 기독교 계시에 대한 연구를 ‘신학’이라는 영역에 한정지을 것이 아니라 인간 실존과 연계하여 비그리스도인들에게도 답변을 해주며, 기독교 진리를 효과적으로 설명하기 위한 노력이 있어야 할 것이다. 이 모든 전망과 비전에 있어서 바르트와 틸리히의 계시 이해는 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 그리하여 두 신학자의 계시 이해에 관한 비교 및 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져, 변화하고 다원화되어가는 이 세상에서 계시가 올바르게 변증되며, 교회에 참다운 방향성을 제시하기를 기대한다.

Development of experimental protocols for identifying synaptic substrates of Lysine63-specific deubiquitinase CYLD

Lysine 63 (K63)-linked ubiquitination is the second most frequent ubiquitination among several types that do not facilitate degradation of substrates but rather modify their properties and activity. However, how K63 ubiquitination affects synaptic proteins and which molecules mediates K63 ubiquitination in excitatory postsynaptic sites remain largely unknown. To address these questions, I studied cylindromatosis-associated deubiquitinase (CYLD), a major K63-linked deubiquitination enzyme enriched in the postsynaptic density of excitatory synapses. First, I investigated expression patterns of the CYLD protein in different regions of the mouse brain. To identify the CYLD interactome, I purified CYLD protein complexes from mouse brain synaptosomes to analyze them by mass spectrometry. In addition, to understand the detailed functions of K63 ubiquitination and identify specific substrates of CYLD, I analyzed K63-polyubiquitinated proteins at excitatory synapses using the Tandem Ubiquitin Binding Entities (TUBE) method that isolates K63- polyubiquitinated proteins. These approaches could lead to the identification of potential CYLD substrates enriched in the synapse that may be involved in synaptic functions.
