US Findings of Secondary Breast Lymphoma Detected by PET/CT

Breast lymphomas, either manifesting as a primary extranodal disease or sec-ondary involvement, are a rare form of malignancy. Breast lymphomas can be visual-ized as hypermetabolic lesions in 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomogra-phy/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) scans. Here, we describe a case of a secondary breast lymphoma, detected with 18F-FDG PET/CT.

1983年 7月부터 1984年 6月까지 慶北大學校 醫科大學 附屬病院 耳鼻咽喉科에서 手術을 받은 鼻茸患者 60例 및 慢性副鼻洞炎患者 30例에서 알레르기 檢査, 血淸 IgE値, 鼻茸液 IgE値, 末梢血液好酸球値를 檢査하여 이들의 相互關係를 比較 檢討한 結果 다음과 같은 結果를 얻었다. 鼻茸液 IgE値는 상당히 增加되어 있었으며 특히 알레르기 집단에서 더욱 높았다. 血淸 IgE値는 鼻茸患者群이 대조군인 副鼻洞炎患群보다 약간 높았으며 알레르기 집단과 非알레르기 집단간에도 약간의 차이가 있었다. 鼻茸患者群중에서 병해 病歷 및 알레르기 皮膚反應檢査陽性인 患者는 10名(16.7%)이었다. 末梢血液好酸球增多는 鼻茸患者群에서 조금 높았다. 이상의 結果를 종합하여 볼 때 鼻茸의 발생기전에 알레르기가 여러 요인중 일부를 담당한다고 사료된다. From the survey of relationship between nasal polyposis and nasal allergy the IgE content was measured in serum and nasal polyp fluid of 60 patients with nasal polyp who had admitted to Kyungpook medical hospital during last one year. The IgE content in serum was also measured in patients with chronic paranasal sinusitis who had chosen as control group. In addition, all patients were studied for peripheral blood eosinophil counts. The results were as follows: The level of IgE in polyp fluid was higher than serum level. The IgE content of serum was somewhat higher in nasal polyp patient especially in allergic group than paranasal sinusitis group. Nasal polup patients with allergic history and positive skin test were obtained in 10 cases(16.7%) which was higher than the levels of chronic paranasal sinusitis. Peripheral blood eosinophil was higher in patient with nasal polyp than patient without nasal polyp. As above results it seems that allergy is one of factors which contribute to the development of nasal polyp.
Photo-Crosslinked Polymer Cubosomes as Recyclable Nanoreactor in Organic Solvents

Polymer cubosomes are an emerging class of porous structures formed by the self-assembly of BCP with asymmetric block ratio. The internal nanochannel networks of a cubosome provide a large surface area and internal volume to tether catalysts, which makes this porous structure a promising candidate for nanoreactors. Herein, we report the synthesis of BCPs composed of PEG hydrophilic and p(pFS-co-Sty) hydrophobic block. The pFS groups in the hydrophobic block could be easily functionalized with N3 groups by post-polymerization modification. The binary mixture of branched-linear and catalyst-functionalized linear BCP self-assembled into polymer cubosomes having surface-tethered catalysts, which was crosslinked by UV. We show that the resulting nanoreactors could catalyze the asymmetric aldol reaction at an enhanced rate compared to the homogeneous catalysts. These robust nanoreactors performed the catalysis repeatedly after multiple recycling without losing their efficiency and integrity.
자전거 이용자를 위한 일회용 미세먼지 마스크 디자인 연구

Bicycle riders complain of many inconveniences when wearing glasses, sunglasses and masks. The disposable fine dust mask has been developed to resolve such inconveniences of bicycle riders. The scope of research is limited to the fiber which generates one-time static electricity and the shape of the mask due to the characteristic of fine dust mask. The purpose is to design and make the fine dust mask with a simple production process. The new disposable fine dust mask has secured enough space of the mask in front of the mouth by longitudinal folding and minimized stuffiness by maintaining the shape of the folded part to prevent touching the mouth even by heavy breathing. The streamlined sponge is attached at the part of nose support and the area of the cheek has been expanded to be about 2.5cm wider than ordinary masks to improve tight seal at the side. In addition, a new disposable fine dust scarf mask has been developed to block ultraviolet rays for the face and neck while filtering fine dust with the tight fine dust mask. 자전거 이용자가 안경 및 선글라스를 쓴 상태에서 마스크를 착용 할 때 여러 가지 불편함을 호소한다. 본 논문은 이러한 불편함을 보완하여 자전거 라이더들에게 필요한 일회용 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 미세먼지 마스크의 특성상 일회성 정전기 발생 섬유와 마스크의 형태적 문제로 연구범위를 제한하고 기존 미세먼지 마스크를 간결한 제작공정으로 디자인한다. 이렇게 개발된 일회용 미세먼지 마스크는 세로방향 접힘으로 입 앞 마스크 내 공간을 충분히 확보하였고 거친 숨에도 입에 닿지 않게 접힘 부위형태가 유지 되게 하여 답답함을 최소화 하였다. 코지지대에 유선형 스폰지를 부착하고 안면 볼 부위를 일반마스크 보다 2.5cm 정도의 확장하여 측면 밀착성을 높였다. 또한 기존에 없던 일회용 미세먼지 스카프 마스크를 제작하여 안면과 목 부위 자외선을 차단하고 밀착성 높은 미세먼지 마스크를 개발하였다.

A π-conjugated dialkoxynaphthalene-based donor-acceptor copolymer was synthesized by a Suzuki coupling reaction, and its photophysical, thermal and electrochemical properties and photovoltaic characteristics were characterized. The copolymer showed good solubility and a weight average molecular weight of 11,500. The new copolymer was characterized by two absorption bands at 315 and 403 nm in the dilute solution, which were assigned to the π→π* transition and an intramolecular charge transfer band, respectively. The wide band gap of the donor-acceptor copolymer was explained by the 3-dimensional structure and tortional angle between the dialkoxynaphthalene and benzothiadiazole of the model compound. The PCE of the photovoltaic solar cell device fabricated using this copolymer reached 0.06% with a Voc, Jsc, and FF of 0.59, 0.3, and 33%, respectively.
