        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the career maturity level of adolescent students and work values and to provide basic materials that can be some help to the career guidance and counseling. To achieve this purpose, research problems were as follows; First, this study was to analyze the relationship between the career maturity level and the work values. Second, this study was to investigate the most important predictive variables which influence on the career maturity. The samples consisted of 600 students (300 boys and 300 girls) from 7th grade, 9th grade and 11th grade students in Taegu, Korea. Students were administered the Career Maturity Inventory (CMI) by Crites(1973), and Work Value Inventory (WVI) by Super(1975). The CMI and WVI are self-report written instruments. For the statistical analysis, Pearson's coefficient correlation and stepwise multiple regression by SAS program have been applied. The results of this study were as follows; First, the correlation between the career maturity and intrinsic work values such as altruism, intellectual stimulation showed statistically significant positive correlation at P<.05 level. 7th graders have positive correlation at P<.01 level in achievement, altruism, intellectual stimulation and independence, and 11th graders in activity, esthetics, intellectual stimulation and independence. 9th graders have negative correlation in intrinsic and extrinsic values. Second, there were no influencing predictive variables of work values, grade and gender on the career maturity level, but there were statistically significant relationships at P<.05 level. Variables affecting career maturity were showed as the following order: intrinsic work values, extrinsic work values, gender and grade.

      • 암환자를 돌보는 간호사의 접촉 관련 중재에 대한 인식

        Purpose: The objectives of this study were to investigate perception of touch therapies among nurses who looking after cancer patients, ultimately to probe possibility of utilization of touch therapies as nursing interventions. Method: A descriptive study conducted from Dec. 2005 to Jan. 2006. 270 nurses taking care of cancer patients in 2 urban hospital were completed self-report questionnaire about general characteristics, utilization of touch therapies, willingness to adopt touch therapies in their practice, and perception of safety and effectiveness of touch therapies. Result: The participants were average 27.97 year-old, 60% of them had bachelor's degree, most of them were staff nurses(83.0%), and 34.6% of them were 3-5 years experienced in oncology nursing. Among 5 touch therapies(therapeutic touch, massage, reflexology, acupressure, and acupuncture), massage was the most positively perceived therapy not only the aspects of safety(67.1%) and effectiveness(65.9%), but also willingness to utilize in their practice(71.2%). There was no significant difference in willingness to utilize in their practice per age and years of working in oncology nursing. Older and more experienced groups perceived more positively to massage and reflexology. Conclusion: Massage might be readily adopted as a nursing intervention in oncology nursing practice. Strategies to encourage the utilization of touch therapies as nursing intervention should be established.

        지역사회기반 호스피스완화케어에서의 의료지원서비스 요구분석

        Objectives : This study was conducted to investigate the need of medical supporting service (MSS) as a part of community-based hospice palliative care from the view point of beneficiaries and providers. Methods : This study adopted a methodological triangulation design. A questionnaire regarding intention to use MSS was completed by 175 patients under home-based cancer patient management program. And three focus groups consisted of hospice nurses, public health physicians, and public officials were interviewed to obtain the perceived needs, obstacles, and solutions of MSS. Results : Mean age of home-based cancer patient was 70.18 year old, 48.0% of them were living alone. Only 53.7% of them were treated pain and 93.7% intend to take pain medication prescribed by public health physician. All participants of focus group interviews agreed necessity and importance of MSS. Physicians' lack of confidence and unwillingness to prescribe opioid to terminal patients was the biggest obstacle to provide MSS in the public health center. Conclusions : The necessity and demand of MSS for community-dwelling cancer patients were verified. MSS is urgent issue to meet their needs.

        대학생의 온라인 강의 학습행태, 온라인 강의 시 학습자 특성, 학습만족도, 교수-학생 상호작용에 따른 온라인 강의 집중도

        Purpose: Because of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, colleges had no choice but to introduce online classes without sufficient preparation. As a result, various problems emerged in college students’ learning experience. To establish a strategy for improving online education quality, the necessity to understand university students’ learning behavior, learner characteristics, learning satisfaction, and the impact of professor-student interaction on online lecture concentricity. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional survey conducted on college students from nine universities who experienced online lectures in the first semester of 2020. Online lecture learning behavior, learner characteristics, learning satisfaction, and professor-student interaction were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient to explore the difference in online lecture concentration. Results: The concentration in-class lectures and online lectures averaged 7.04 and 5.73, respectively. According to the analysis, online learning concentration was a significant positive correlation by learner characteristics (r=.40, p<.001), professor-student interaction (r=.30, p<.001), online lecture evaluation (r=.34, p<.001). Conclusion: Therefore, it is suggested that universities should establish guidance strategies related to lecture time zones, measures for managing and supervising learners, reflecting online lecture evaluation results, and strategies for improving student interaction.

        경기도 지역 공업계열 고등학교의 학교교육과정 편성·운영에 관한 내용 분석

        The purpose of this research is to find the identity through the inductive analysis on the curriculum of the industrial high schools in Gyeonggi province. The departments of electricity, electron, and correspondence of the 22 industrial high schools in Gyeonggi province are selected as the subject school of this research. The result of this research is as follows. First, 11 out of 18 industrial schools currently arrange larger completion unit of special curriculum than common one, and 2 out of 4 general high schools do. Second, industrial schools reduced 2-4 units of required subjects of the departments, general high schools did 2 units. 11 out of 18 industrial schools arranged larger student's elective subjects than school's in the completion unit of common curriculum, and 3 out of 4 general high schools did. 31 out of 32 departments of 18 industrial schools arranged larger student's elective subjects than school's in the completion unit of common curriculum. Third, 4 out of 18 industrial schools used the certified textbooks for newly organized subjects. But 25 departments of 15 schools out of 36 departments of 22 schools changed the industrial departments into high-tech ones. Fourth, in the classification of the school curriculum by 3-type curriculum, 12 out of 18 industrial schools adopted employment-centered curriculum, 7 out of 18 schools did foundation-centered curriculum. 2 out of 4 general schools adopted employment-centered curriculum, 2 out of 4 schools did college preparation-centered curriculum. Therefore, Schools are estimated to have much effort to find their identities through the arrangement of school curriculum. 이 연구 목적은 경기도 공업계열 고등학교의 학교교육과정 편성운영에 관한 내용을 귀납적으로 분석하여 학교의 정체성을 파악해 보는 데 있다. 연구 대상은 경기도 남부지역 공업계열 고등학교 22개교의 전기전자통신 분야 학과로 한정하였으며, 2008학년도 학교교육과정을 중심으로 하였다. 연구방법은 귀납적 내용 분석으로 실시하였다. 이 연구에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보통교과와 전문교과의 이수 단위 편성 결과는 순수공업고등학교의 경우는 현재는 전문교과 이수 단위를 높게 편성하는 학교가 18개교 중 11개교로 많게 나타났으며, 종합고등학교는 전문교과 이수 단위가 높은 학교 4개교 중2개교로 나타났다. 둘째, 선택중심 교과 과목의 이수 단위 편성 결과로는 계열필수과목 이수 단위에서 순수공업고등학교는 기준 8단위에서 2~4단위를 감축하였고, 종합고등학교는 2단위를 감축 편성하였다. 보통교과의 선택 과목 이수 단위에서 순수공업고등학교는 18개교 중 11개교가 학생선택보다 학교선택 이수 단위가 높았으며, 종합고등학교는 4개교 중 3개교가 학교선택의 이수 단위가 높게 나타났다. 전문교과의 선택 과목 이수 단위 편성 결과는 순수공업고등학교 18개교의 32학과 중 31학과가 학생선택보다 학교선택이 높게 편성되었다. 셋째, 과목 신설에 따른 인정도서 사용은 공업고등학교 18개교 중 4개교가 편성하였다. 그러나 경기도 남부 지역 22개교 36개 학과 중 15개교의 25개 학과에서 첨단학과 개편 사업의 일환으로 학과를 변경한 바가 있다. 넷째, ‘3-type' 교육과정 유형에 따른 학교교육과정 분류 결과는 공업고등학교 18개교 중 12개교가 취업중심형 교육과정으로 편성, 7개교가 진학중심형 교육과정으로 편성하였다. 종합고등학교는 4개교 중 2개교는 취업중심형 교육과정으로 편성, 2개교는 진학중심형 교육과정으로 편성하였다. 학교교육과정을 통해서 단위학교별로 정체성을 찾기 위한 많은 노력을 하고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

        한국형 사별돌봄자신감 척도 개발

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Korean Bereavement Care Confidence Scale (K-BCCS). Methods: The Perinatal Bereavement Care Confidence Scale (PBCCS) was translated into Korean according to an algorithm of cultural adaptation process and excluded six items which were specific to perinatal bereavement. A total of 229 clinical nurses participated in the study. Construct validity, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and group comparison validity were evaluated, and Cronbach’s α was calculated to estimate the reliability of the K-BCCS. Results: The K-BCCS consisted of 31 items in 7 factors, including knowledge and skills for bereavement care (12 items), organizational support (6 items), awareness of the needs (3 items), interpersonal skills (3 items), workload influence (2 items), continuous education (2 items), and understanding the grief process (3 items). The factor loading of 31 items within the 7 factors ranged from .60 to .86. For the convergent validity, the construct reliability (CR) ranged from .74 to .94, and the average variance extracted (AVE) ranged from .49 to .73, which is considered acceptable. The discriminant validity showed that the AVEs of the subscales were greater than the square of the correlation coefficient r. The nurses who had experience providing bereavement care (t=4.94, p<.001) or had received bereavement education (t=6.64, p<.001) showed higher K-BCCS values those without experience. The Cronbach’s α of 31 items was .93 and ranged from .60 to .94 per subscale. Conclusion: The K-BCCS is a valid and reliable tool for evaluating nurses' confidence in bereavement care. 본 연구는 임상간호사의 사별돌봄자신감을 측정하기 위해 최근 국외에서 개발된 주산기 사별돌봄자신감 척도(PBCCS)를 한국어로 번역하고 도구를 수정한 후 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증하였다. 한국형 사별돌봄자신감 척도(K-BCCS)는 PBCCS의 주산기에 국한되는 항목을 제외하거나 수정하였고, 타당도 검증에서 요인적재량이 낮은 문항, 개념신뢰도와 평균분산추출값을 낮추는 문항을 제외하여 최종 31문항, 7개 하위척도로 구성되었다. K-BCCS는 구성타당도와 수렴타당도, 판별타당도, 신뢰도가 검증되어 국내 임상에서 사별돌봄자신감을 측정하는 도구로써 적용 가능함이 확인되었다. 본 도구를 이용하여 임상간호사의 사별가족 돌봄에 대한 자신감 정도를 파악하고 그 결과를 사별돌봄 교육 및 연구에 반영함으로써, 사별 가족들에게 질 높은 돌봄을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
