대학생들의 수면 형태와 수면에 대한 인식

Purpose. The purpose of this study was conducted to identify college students' sleep type and awareness of sleep. Methods. We researched 250 students in a college using the Korean Translation of Composite Scale(KtCS) and awareness of sleep questionnaire. Results. The sleeping hour of college students was 395.28 minute in average. The research showed that the biggest reason for the lack of sleep is using the computer, mobile and watching TV(22.6%), and most of them said that the lack of sleep is causing drowsiness during the daytime( 29.2%). For the questions asking when they feel drowsy during the daytime, most of them forcing themselves to stay awake(29.2%) and they caught up on sleep on the weekend(32.5%). Conclusions. Therefore college students to keep relevant sleep time and to know about the importance of the sleep.

뇌졸중 환자의 인지 기능과 시공간 지각의 관계

Purpose : The aim of this study was to identify the relation of cognition and visuospatial perception in stoke patients. Methods : A total of 16 stroke patients recruited from two hospital located in Donghae, Kang-won participated in this study(Right hemiplegia : twelve, Left hemiplegia : four). All participants scored higher than 20 point on the MMSE-K. To assess the cognitive function, we performed the Korean version of Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE-K), spatial perception domain of Lowenstein Occupational Therapy Cognition Assessment(LOTCA), Figure Color Copy(FCC), Linebisection Test(LBT) and Albert's test in stoke patients. Results: The Korean version of Mini Mental State Examination and spatial perception domain of Lowenstein Occupational Therapy Cognition Assessment were the highest points in sixty ages, Figure Color Copy is difference between Right hemiplegia and Left hemiplegia. Linebisection Test(LBT) and Albert's test had much relation, visuospatial perception had not relationship. Conclusion: Aging was cognition function and visuospatial perception had an interrelationship. visuospatial perception according to affected side in brain had an interrelationship but cognition function and visuospatial perception had not any interrelationship.

다이캐스팅 ADC12 합금의 열처리 전후의 기계적 특성변화

We investigated the effect of heat treatment on an ADC12 alloy produced using diecasting. The heat treatment used in this study was a typical T6 process: a solid solution treatment followed by an artificial aging treatment. As-cast specimens were solid-solution-treated at 500oC and 530oC for 1-16 hr, and aged at 160oC and 180oC for 1-8 hr. Microstructural changes in the alloy during the heat treatment were observed. Changes in mechanical properties of the alloy were measured using a micro Vickers hardness tester. Finally, we determined the optimal heat treatment conditions for the diecast ADC12 alloy.

In this article, I discuss how and in what ways Hughes re-defines the image of African Americans. At the heart of his literary career is a ceaseless effort to re-define the image of African Americans in accordance with their ‘soul.’ ‘Soul’ is the essence of a human being in Hughes’s view. And it is the realm of African American existence where African Americans discover, analyze, celebrate, valuate, corroborate, and transform the meaning of their lives in society. Hughes’s poetry on women displays the dynamic power of African American people that turns sorrow into joy, crying into laughter, defeat into victory. Particularly, the black woman embodied in Hughes’s poems such as “Mother to Son,” “The Negro Mother,” and so called “Madam” poems is an archetype of the soul of Afro-Americans. Hughes’s description of the women in his poems confirms that he is “the first black male feminist writer of African American letters.” (Chonbuk National University)

N/A Calcitriol therapy is an important treatment for the prevention and control of secondary hyperparathyroidism in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients. However, this often has been limited by the associated hypercalcemia and hyperphosphatemia due to increase in intestinal calcium and phosphorus absorption. Many studies reported that these limitations could be avoided by changing routes, frequency and dose of calcitriol treatment. But, there are still controversy about each methods and the results on the PTH response to conventional calcitriol treatment in CAPD patients. This study was performed to evaluate the factors affecting the response to oral calcitriol in CAPD patients. A retrospective study was done in 92 CAPD patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism(intact PTH level >200pg/ml) on oral calcitriol treatment. After baseline study of serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, BUN, creatinine and intact PTH, calcitriol therapy was begun via oral rou- te, daily. Serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, BUN, creatinine, intact FI'H and other bio- chemical markers were checked at 3 month, 6 month after treatment. Parathyroid gland ultrasonography was performed to detect parathyroid hypertrophy and nodule and to measure the diameter of parathymid gland. All the patients were divided into two groups according to percent reduetion of i-PTH(initial PTH PTH after 3, 6 months)×100/initial PTH(%),△PTH during oral calcitriol therapy for 3 and 6 months(group I ; △PTH >30%, group II ; △PTH <30%). Result: 1) All 92 patients(mean age 46.5 11.3yr, M: F 45: 47, mean CAPD duration 51.3 39.4 months) were administered oral calcitriol, daily. Mean calcitriol dose during 3 month was 0.43 0.22μg and during 6month 0.43 0.24μg. 2) After 3-month treament, there were significant differences in initial i-PTH, the diameter of parathyroid gland, initial phosphorus, intial total alkaline phosphatase and duration of CAPD between group I and II(406.7±196.5 vs. 871.0±478Apglml, 6.2±2.6 vs. 13.1±5.2mm, 5.0±1.3 vs. 5.7±1.3mg/dl, 93.7±4L1 vs. 171.9±137.6IU/L, 40.1±34.9 vs. 73.5±37.8months, p< 0.05, respectively). 4) After 6-month treament, there were significant differences in initial i-PTH, the diameter of parathyroid gland, intial total alkaline phosphatase and duration of CAPD between group I and II(474.1±266.6 vs. 889.7±485.4pg/ml, 6.4±2.7 vs. 14.5±5.1mm, 107.9±80.1 vs. 180.7±121.5IU/L, 40.5± 32.9 vs. 81.8±35.3months, p<0.05, respectively). 5) The significant negative correlation was shown between △PTH and the duration of peritoneal dialysis, the diameter of parathyroid gland, initial PTH level and PTH response during 3-month and 6-month oral calcitriol treatment. The response to oral calcitriol was poor when i-PTH level more than 500pg/ml(kappa 0.429, p value <0.01), the diameter of parathyroid gland more than 10.0mm(kappa 0.641, p value<0.01), the duration of CAPD more than 55months(kappa 0.524, p value< 0.01). These data suggested that initial i-PTH level, the diameter of parathyroid gland size and the duration of CAPD were independent risk factors of the poor response to oral calcitriol therapy in CAPD patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism.

N/A The optimum cultural temperature and time for the production of chitinase from Pseudomonas vesicularis KW-15 were 30t and 60 hrs, respectively. The enzyme was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation, affinity adsorption, two times of DEAE-cellulose column chromatography. Specific activity of the purified enzyme was 11.0 U/mg. protein and the yield of the enzyme activity was 16.2%. The purified enzyme showed a single protein band on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and its molecular weight was estimated to be 62,000 by SDS-polyacrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. The isoelectric point of the purified enzyme was pH 4,9.

기부에 대한 누가의 관점

최근 빈부격차는 날로 심화되고 있다. 그에 비해 기부문화 역시 확산되고 있다. 기부는 그 격차를 줄이며 사회 통합을 이룰 수 있기에 바람직한 현상이다. 그래서 성경적 기부 원리를 찾아보는 것은 유익할 것이다. 신약이 쓰여졌던 로마시대는 빈부격차가 유례를 찾아볼 수 없게 심각했다. 그 때 쓰여진 누가 복음은 특히 기부를 강조하는 복음서이다. 그것은 부자가 나오는 구절에 이르러서는 항상 기부를 강조하는 데에서도 알 수 있다. 그리고 그 기부의 원리는 청지기의식이며 주어진 부를 잘 관리할 때 오는 세상에서 더 많은 일이 맡겨진다는 것이다. 본 논문의 목적은 누가복음의 기부원리를 살펴봄으로 기부에 대한 바른 기독교적 원리를 찾아보는 것이다. Recently the gap between rich and poor is widening. At the same time, donation culture is also spreading. The donation culture can narrow the economic gap and promote the social unity, which is a desirable phenomenon. Thus, it would be beneficial to study the principle of biblical donation. the Roman age in which the New Testament was written saw an uncomparably serious wide gap between rich and poor. The Gospel of Luke written at that time especially emphasizes donation. Thus, whenever a rich man appears, donation is emphasized. There, the principle of donation is stewardship and the given wealth being managed well, the person will be in charge of more things in the world to come. The purpose of the present article is to search for the right principle of biblical donation by studying the Lukan principle of donation.
