        Form active 구조 건축물의 안정과 건축적 효용성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to Investigate the physical method for the stability In response to the lateral forces caused by main structural elements at the edge of form active structure and Its Impact on the architectural form In terms of architectural effect Architectural contexts applied to the design process of integrating architectural concepts and structural logic for a certain building are various. But, for the purpose to investigate the structure In terms of architectural effect, It IS thought that the evaluation should have Its basis on the functional as well as emotional characteristics and their relationship In buildings of form active structural type, we can find that the statical system responding to the load does an absolute role for the decision of building form Especially, naturally responding methods responding to the lateral forces are expressed on the form. As a result, It is thought that the establishment of physical stability can be a method to maintain an effect of production, and Its expression on the form can be a method to provide an effect of experience through the emotional stability Therefore, the truthful response to the structural logic can be regarded to have a methodic value to establish architectural languages and, at the same time, to maintain a justification through the architectural effect

        입력 처리를 활용한 한국어 문법 교수의 효과

        This study delves into the effects of teaching Korean grammar by means of Input Processing as part of Focus on Form. As Korean language learners come into contact with diverse sentences through beginning, intermediary and advanced courses, they get to have much interest in and curiosity about Korean grammar. By contrast, guidelines and measures relevant to appropriate teaching methods are not sufficient to deal with learners' interest in Korean grammar. In that sense, assuming improvement in communicative competence requires underpinning of grammatical competence as much, the present study applies Input Processing to beginner-level Korean language learners, who are to perform SIA (Structured Input Activities) to understand and process inputs teachers provide and to focus on target grammar. Ultimately, the present study is to verify the effects of the aforementioned approach and seek for effective methods for teaching Korean grammar. 본고는 의미 중심 형태 교수법(Focus on Form) 중에서, 입력 처리활동(Input Processing Activities:IPA)을 활용한 문법 수업이 한국어 학습자의 시제 학습에 효과가 있는지를 알아보고자 한다. 한국어 학습자들은 초급-중급-고급 과정을 거쳐 다양한 형태의 문장들을 접함에 따라 문법에 대해 많은 관심과 궁금증을 갖고 있다. 이에 비해 이러한 학습자들의 관심을 해결해 줄 수 있는 교사들의 교수 방법 안내와 대책이 부족한 것이 현실이다. 그래서 본고는 의사소통능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 문법적 능력의 성장이 뒷받침되어야 한다는 생각 하에 한국어 초급 학습자들에게 교사로부터 주어지는 입력을 이해하고 처리하는 구조화된 입력 활동(Structured Input Activities)을 수행하게 함으로써 목표 문법에 주목하도록 하는 IPA를 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하고, 효과적인 문법 지도 방안을 알아보는 데에 목적이 있다.

        입력 처리 교수가 한국어 문법 성취도에 미치는 효과 연구-초급 학습자를 중심으로

        본 연구는 형태 초점 교수법의 한 종류인 입력 처리 교수(Processing Instruction)를 한국 어 문법 수업에 활용하여 초급 학습자의 문법 성취도에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 입력 처리 교수는 목표 문법 항목과 입력을 효과적으로 처리하는 전략(strategy)을 명 시적(explicit)으로 설명하여 학습자들의 부적절한 전략을 수정하고 구조화된 입력 활동을 통 해 형태와 의미의 연결을 강화한다. 나아가 학습자들의 문법 정확성(accuracy) 및 유창성 (fluency)까지 동시에 꾀할 수 있는 장점을 지닌다. 따라서 이러한 특징을 활용하여 5주간 전 통적 문법 교수(Traditional Instruction)와 입력 처리 교수의 실제 수업 방법 비교를 통해 입력 처리 교수가 성취도에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 도출해냈다. 특히, 하위권 학습자들에게 서 유의성을 검증한 것은 실제 교육 현장에 긍정적인 도움이 될 수 있음을 시사한다. 마지막 으로 사후 인터뷰를 통해 정의적 영역에의 긍정적인 부분도 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 연구에서 는 본 연구에서의 제언을 반영하여 입력 처리 교수를 기반으로 한 한국어 문법 교육 연구가 활발해지기를 바란다. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of input processing instruction, a type of focus on form, on grammar achievement of beginning learners in a Korean grammar course. Input processing instruction modifies inappropriate strategies of learners by explicitly explaining the strategy to process target grammar items and inputs effectively and processes inputs through structured input activities. Accordingly, it has the advantage of improving both grammar accuracy and fluency of learners. By comparing actual classes based on traditional grammar instruction and input processing instruction for five weeks, positive effects of input processing instruction on achievement were found. In particular, this study showed significant results in low-rank learners, implying that input processing instruction can have a positive influence on the education field. Finally, the post-interview also showed positive aspects of affective domain. Future studies should reflect the suggestions of this study and focus on Korean grammar education using input processing instruction.

        Dominance of Endospore-forming Bacteria on a Rotating Activated Bacillus Contactor Biofilm for Advanced Wastewater Treatment

        The bacterial diversity inherent to the biofilm community structure of a modified rotating biological contactor wastewater treatment process, referred to as the Rotating Activated Bacillus Contactor (RABC) process, was characterized in this study, via both culture-dependent and culture-independent methods. On the basis of culture-dependent methods, Bacillus sp. were found to exist in large numbers on the biofilm (6.5% of the heterotrophic bacteria) and the microbial composition of the biofilms was quite simple. Only three phyla were identified-namely, the Proteobacteria, the Actinobacteria (High G+C Gram-positive bacteria), and the Firmicutes (Low G+C Gram-positive bacteria). The culture-independent partial 16S rDNA sequence analysis revealed a considerably more diverse microbial composition within the biofilms. A total of eight phyla were recovered in this case, three of which were major groups: the Firmicutes (43.9%), the Proteobacteria (28.6%), and the Bacteroidetes (17.6%). The remaining five phyla were minor groups: the Planctomycetes (4.4%), the Chlorobi (2.2%), the Actinobacteria (1.1%), the Nitrospirae (1.1%), and the Verrucomicrobia (1.1%). The two most abundant genera detected were the endospore-forming bacteria (31.8%), Clostridium and Bacillus, both of which are members of the Firmicutes phylum. This finding indicates that these endospore-forming bacteria successfully colonized and dominated the RABC process biofilms. Many of the colonies or clones recovered from the biofilms evidenced significantly high homology in the 16S rDNA sequences of bacteria stored in databases associated with advanced wastewater treatment capabilities, including nitrification and denitrification, phosphorus accumulation, the removal of volatile odors, and the removal of chlorohydrocarbons or heavy metals. The microbial community structures observed in the biofilms were found to correlate nicely with the enhanced performance of advanced wastewater treatment protocols.

        돼지 도축폐수 처리를 위한 RABC 공정의 생물막 세균군집 구조

        돼지 도축폐수를 처리하는 Rotating Activated Bacillus Contactors (RABC) 공정의 세균군집 특성을 파악하기 위하여 그람양성세균수와 총세균수를 계수하여 기존 고도폐수처리공정인 A2O (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic) 공정과 비교하였다. RABC 공정의 생물막 세균군집구조는 비배양기법인 16S rDNA 염기서열결정법을 이용하여 분석하였다. RABC 공정의 총세균수에 대한 그람양성세균수 비율은 생물막(32%)에 비해 최종포기조(1282%) 및 반송슬러지(958%)에서 현저히 증가한 반면, A2O 공정의 그람양성세균수 비율은 호기조(40%)와 반송슬러지(49%) 모두에서 상대적으로 훨씬 낮았다. 총 9개 문에 해당하는 92개의 클론이 검출되었으며, 이 가운데 최우점 집단은 Proteobacteria (64.1%)와 Actinobacteria (18.4)%로서 이들 2개 문이 전체의 82.5%를 차지하였다. 3번째로 많이 검출된 것은 내생포자형성세균집단이 속하는 Firmicutes (5.4%) 문이었다. 소량 검출된 나머지 6개 문은 Bacteroidetes (3.3%), Chlorobi (2.2%), Nitrospirae (1.1%), Chlorofleix (1.1%), Acidobacteria (1.1%), Fusobacteria (1.1%)의 순이었다. Proteobacteria 문 중에서는 Betaproteobacteria 강 34.8%, Alphaproteobacteria 강 26.1%로서 대부분을 차지하였고, Gammaproteobacteria 강은 3.2%이었다. 내생포자형성세균집단의 비율은 모두 19.4%로서, Firmicutes 문 5.4%와 Actinobacteria 문의 Intrasporangiaceae과 14.0%이었다. 질화세균 및 탈질세균과 관련된 클론 비율 6.5%, 인축적세균과 관련된 클론 비율 5.4%를 기록함으로써 무기영양소 및 악취 제거능력을 가진 세균집단이 RABC 생물막에 많이 서식하고 있음이 확인되었다. Culture-independent microscopic observations and 16S rDNA analyses were applied to describe the bacterial community inherent to the biofilm structure of the RABC (Rotating Activated Bacillus Contactors) process for swine butchery wastewater treatment. The ratios of Gram-positive bacterial counts to total bacterial counts of the RABC process were significantly increased in the last aeration tank as well as returned sludge, while those of the existing A2O (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic) process maintained constant from aeration tanks to returned sludge. Totally nine phyla were recovered by 16S rDNA analysis, two of which were major groups: the Proteobacteria (64.1%) and the Actinobacteria (18.4%). The third major group was the endospore-forming Firmicutes (5.4%). The remaining six minor groups are the Bacteroidetes (3.3%), the Chlorobi (2.2%), the Nitrospirae (1.1%), the Chlorofleix (1.1%), the Acidobacteria (1.1%), and the Fusobacteria (1.1%). The ratio of endospore-forming bacteria was 19.4%, which was composed of the members of the Firmicutes phylum (5.4%) and the Intrasporangiaceae family (14.0%) of the Actinobacteria phylum. Nitrifying and denitrifying related- and phosphorus accumulating related-sequences were composed of 6.5% and 5.4% of total community, respectively, these could mean the high capacity of the RABC process to remove odor compounds and reduce eutrophication by efficient removing inorganic nutrients.

      • Pinching deformation을 이용한 면활성 아치구조 디자인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to control the form in which a materials structural performance is expressed. By applying pinching deformations to an elastic strip, surface-active arch structures can be generated. Through a geometric approach, I found 3 parameters that control the curvature of the arch and showed that a wide range of arch shape can be generated through simple manipulation of the parameters. This material system is easy to construct and cost-effective to transport, making it a potentially powerful shelter. In the future, it can be developed into an expanded material system by introducing additional parameters.
