        자세 교정 제품 설계 기술의 한국 특허 출원 경향

        This study investigated the technological development of Korean functional product design for posture correction. We analyzed registered and disclosed Korean patents (n=289) of KIPRIS. They were posture correction technology patents filed from 1999 to 2018. Keywords used in patent selection were posture correction, posture correction clothing, posture correction band, rehabilitation clothing, joint protection, protective equipment, and compression wear. These were then analyzed by patent application year, product type, effect pursued, and posture correction body part. The results showed that patent applications related to posture correction technology have increased since 2014. Products subject to patents for posture correction technology were device/brace (59.5%), footwear (22.5%), and clothing (18.0%). Patents for posture correction pursued various wearing effects. The effects pursued were dependent on the product type. The device/brace focused on joint protection (76.7%) and muscle reinforcement (40.7%). Footwear was focused on joint protection (90.8%). The clothes were focused on muscle reinforcement (50.0%) and body shaping (36.5%). The clothing and device/brace for posture correction were worn on various body parts of the upper limbs to feet. The posture correction product design patent was to correct various body parts. Patents pursuing upper body correction focused on spine posture correction (n=99). Patents for foot posture correction have steadily increased (n=102). Patents for posture correction of the pelvis and hip joints were relatively few (n=46). The results of this study implied the necessity to develop technology to correct posture by combining the functions of device/brace and clothing.

        자세교정프로그램에 따른 자세유지 수행과 자기효능감에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to identify the posture correction program as the development of the posture maintenance performance, and search for the more efficient posture correction program. The data analysis was processed by SPSS. The data was analysed with $x^2$-test, t-test, pearson product moment correlation, and stepwise regression analysis. The finding of this study is as follows: There are the homogeneity between two groups was verified on the know ledges CF=.697, df=2, P>.05), self-efficacy(F=.098, df=2, P>.05) about the posture. The developed posture correction program has proved to enhance the posture maintenance performance(knowledge t=1.60, P<.05 ; posture manintenance t=7.69, P<.01). The type of posture correction program showed some significant differences (t=5.62, P<.01) in the accuracy of movement way among the factors of the posture maintenance performance. The posture maintenance performance affected self-efficacy. Therefore, the major conclusion is as follows: The posture correction program was meaningfully effective on developing the posture maintenance, and with practice created accuracy much more on the posture maintenance movement way. The development of the posture maintenance performance affected the increase of self-efficacy about the posture. The self-efficacy has proved so powerful factor to influence on the posture maintenance performance development. So, the posture correction program should be done systematically and continually, and developing the posture maintenance performance should be done with practice. After the education, it should be reinforced through practice, midterm identification and reeducation and motivated with recognizing the accurate posture measurement. And it should be created the correction program to develop the high self-efficacy about the posture. It needs the strategy to educate the correct posture individually, and to spread to the society for healthy life style.

      • Change of Cervical Curvature Angle by Wearing the Posture Corrective Garment

        Objective: The purpose of this study was to measure the wearing effect of the posture corrective garments. The experimental garments were developed by reflecting the kinematical relation of sternoclavicular articulation, spine and muscles of dorsum. The posture correction effect was measured by the change of cervical curvature angle and distance. Background: Contemporary lifestyle pushes the people an unhealthy posture. The way of rehabilitation medicine has been increased to solve this problem. In the fashion industry, functional garments to correct posture are commercialized. However, there are few studies which analyze quantitatively the effect of posture corrective clothing. Method: Two types of posture corrective garments were developed. They spread shoulders and straighten the cervical vertebral and lumbar by changing sternoclavicular articulation. The posture correction effect was measured by the change of cervical curvature angle and horizontal distance between cervical curvature and tragion. 4 subjects participated in the experiment. They had various cervical curvature angles. Results: The cervical curvature angle of the subjects varied from 26°to 41° at static posture without experimental garments. By wearing the posture corrective garments, their cervical curvature angle was decreased by 1.39°~7.75°. The result implies that the developed posture correction garments have positive effect on the people who have low level of cervical lordosis. Application: the relation between design feature and the wearing effect of the posture corrective garments should be studied in the follow-up study.

      • Intelligent Seat Model for Correction of Driver`s Posture while Driving using Logistic Regression

        This paper presents an intelligent seat model for correction of driver’s posture while driving using logistic regression algorithm. For good driver’s postures, it adjusts seat height, seat angle, head height, back of knees, distances of foot pedals, tilt of seat, etc. for each driver. There have been some studies on correction of good posture, effects of driving environment on driver’s posture, and sitting strategies based on seating pressure distribution and estimation of driver’s standard postures. However, there are a few studies on correction of driver’s postures while driving for problem of the postures using machine learning algorithm. Therefore, we suggest an intelligent seat model for correction of driver’s posture based on logistic regression using the system developed with C-type piezoelectric effect elements to get the postures. First, we collect the piezoelectric values from 37 drivers and 17 types of cars from the system, second, define 4 types of good postures while driving for labels, and third, analyze the postures for test data using logistic regression algorithm. As the results, we can guide good postures for bad or problems of postures while driving.

        자세균형 능력 증진을 위한 골반 및 자세 교정 장치 디자인 개발 연구

        현대인의 80% 이상이 일생 중 한번이상 허리통증을 경험하고 이들 중 5~15%가 만성질환자로 발전된다. 한국인은 하루에 7.5시간을 앉아서 보내며 의자에 앉아 있는 자세는 곧게 서있 는 자세보다 허리의 압박이 증가한다. 이러한 압박을 감소시 킬 수 있는 비대칭성을 교정하는 좌판에 대한 연구나 교정좌 판에 착석 시 나타나는 교정 효과에 대한 연구는 거의 전무한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 자세교정 장치를 분석하여 운동기구 형태, 쿠션형태, 의자형태로 분류하였고 국내외 유사제품 조사 및 제품 분해 분석을 실시하여 국내 제품의 사용방식, 기능 사 용성의 문제점과 개선점을 고찰하였다. 신체 사이즈 및 인체 의 근골격계를 고려하여 한국 생활 방식에 맞는 자세교정 장 치 디자인을 개발하였으며 이후, 시험 장비의 사용성 평가를 통하여 편향적 자세 불균형을 측정하고 수집된 데이터를 기반 으로 각 환자에게 맞는 맞춤형 자세 교정을 가능하게 하는 운 동 프로그램을 개발하였고 자세교정의 효과에 어떤 도움이 되 는지 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 디자인 요소와 개 발사례는 향후 가정용 자세교정 장치 개발의 기초 자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Over 80% of modern people experience a backache, more than once in their lifetime, and 5 to 15% of them become chronic patients. South Koreans spend 7.5 hours a day, sitting on a chair, and the pressure on the back increases in a sitting position from that in an upright position. There are few studies of a seat board to correct asymmetry, which can reduce this pressure or the effect of sitting on the corrective seat board on posture correction. This study analyzed posture correction devices for home use, classified their types into exercise equipment type, cushion type, and chair type and discussed their problems and improvements of the method of use, functions and usability of the domestic products, investigating similar products and conducting a decomposition analysis of the products. Developed the design of a posture correction device suitable for Korean lifestyle, considering body size and musculoskeletal system. Next, measured biased posture imbalance through an evaluation of the usability of the test equipment, developed an exercise program that would allow posture correction customized for each patient based on the collected data and found out how helpful effect it would have on posture correction. It is judged that the drawn design elements and the developed case through this study will be baseline data for the development of posture correction devices.

        탄성밴드 사용 유무에 따른 골반교정 발레플로어 프로그램이 출산경험이 있는 여성의 골반 및 자세에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the elastic band based pelvic correction ballet floor program and to analyze the effect of women with childbirth on pelvis and posture. The participants for this study were 22 women aged 30 to 40 in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. The participants were divided into two groups and took general pelvic correction ballet floor program and pelvic correction ballet floor program using elastic band, respectively. MZEN Body Style was used to measure posture and its variables include pelvic and cervical spine, shoulder, scapular, calcaneal slope, gradient of upper body angle, and leg length difference. This study was performed during twice a week for 60 minute. For data analysis, SPPSS Win 18.0 was used the Wilcox signed rank test, and two-way analysis of variance. Statistical significance level was set at p<0.05. The results were as follows. The group using elastic band showed significant positive effects on the pelvis, cervical, shoulder, scapula, upper body, and leg length difference. The group without elastic band showed statistically meaningful results on the upper body angle, leg length difference, right calcaneal slope. Especially in pelvic angle calibration, pelvic correction ballet floor program using elastic band was much more effective than the general pelvic correction ballet floor program. Based on this study, I hope to verify the relationship between core strength and posture, and that will be performed later.

      • 운동재활프로그램 적용이 남자 성인의 자세교정에 미치는 영향 : 단일사례연구

        이 연구는 불균형적인 신체밸런스를 가진 남자 성인에게 운동재활프로그램을 적용하고, 운동재활프로그램 적용으로 자세 교정되는 것을 확인함으써, 자세교정을 위한 운동재활프로그램 개발 및 스포츠 재활 교육에 데이터를 제공하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 D시에 있는 30대 남자 직장인으로 신체불균형과 통증이 있으며, 연구목적에 동의한 성인 1명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 이 연구를 수행하기 위해 자세분석 장비인 Body Style을 사용하여 연구대상자의 앞면, 옆면, 뒷면 그리고 다리 분석하였다. 운동재활프로그램은 3단계로 구분하여 진행하였고, 주 1∼2회씩, 1회 60분씩 10회로 대상자의 컨디션에 따라 강도와 빈도를 조정하였다. 운동재활 프로그램을 적용 후 첫째, 앞면분석결과 어깨 높이, 골반 높이, 다리길이차이, 좌우밸런스가 개선되는 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 옆면분석결과 전방 머리 기울기와 상체 기울기가 개선되었음을 보여주었고, 골반 전·후 기울기 방향은 전향으로 증가하였으나 정상 등급에 포함되었다. 셋째, 뒷면분석결과 견갑골좌·우 높이와 척추휨이 개선되었다. 넷째, 운동재활 프로그램을 통하여 구부러진 다리와 종골 각도가 개선에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 운동재활 프로그램이 자세 교정에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 보여주었다. This study aims to apply an exercise rehabilitation program to salaried employees who have improper body postures and investigate the program’s effect on posture correction and to provide base data that can help the development of an exercise program and educational guidance related to sports and rehabilitation. To achieve the aim of this study, an individual with body imbalance and pain was selected from salaried employees in their thirties of B company in Gyeongsan, Gyeongbuk Province, and 1 adult who agreed to self-selection was taken as the subject of study. To conduct this study, Body Style, a posture measurement device, was used to perform front analysis (shoulder height, pelvis height, leg length discrepancy, bowed legs, center of pressure), side analysis (forward head posture, upper body tilt, pelvic inclination angle) and back analysis (angulus inferior scapulae, spinal curve, calcaneal angle). The exercise rehabilitation program, divided into three phases (posture recognition, correction exercise, Foam Roller SMR), was implemented 10 times over 8 weeks, 60 minutes each time. Every week, the intensity and frequency were adjusted gradually. As a result, changes in posture correction are as follows. First, after the exercise rehabilitation program was implemented, it was shown that shoulder height, pelvis height, leg length discrepancy, and center of pressure improved on the front of the body. Second, after the exercise rehabilitation program was implemented, it was shown that forward head posture and upper body tilt improved on the sides of the body. The pelvic inclination angle increased, but it falls under A-3, which is a normal grade. Third, after the exercise rehabilitation program was implemented, it was shown that angulus inferior scapulae and spinal curve improved on the back of the body. Fourth, after the exercise rehabilitation program was implemented, it was shown that bowed legs and calcaneal angle improved. In conclusion, the results collectively showed that the exercise rehabilitation program had a positive impact on salaried workers’ posture correction.

        Real-Time Workout Posture Correction using OpenCV and MediaPipe

        This paper proposes a program that uses OpenCV and MediaPipe to guide the workout (squat, push-up) posture correction content and the number of workouts by estimating the posture of real-time images. Specifically, the program estimates the landmarks of the users body from the images acquired using the webcam in real time. Furthermore, it calculates the body angle and numerical values necessary to determine whether the posture is correct, and guides the user with the necessary corrections when the wrong posture is taken. It also increases and guides the number of workouts when the user takes the correct posture. Guidance for posture correction is displayed on the screen, and the number of workouts is guided by screen and voice. This program helps people exercise at home while checking their posture and work out with the proper posture without the help of an exercise trainer.

        웨어러블 센서를 이용한 일상생활중 머리-목 자세 측정 시스템

        The neck pain is fairly common occurance. Forward head posture and text neck are poor postures which may be related with neck pain but the evidence is not enough. We developed the wearable sensor which can assess the head & neck posture in daily life. Microprocessor, Bluetooth low energy, and 3-axis accelerometer, rechargeable battery and vibratior for reminding are used to implement the wearable sensor. Real-time algorithm to parameterize the posture for one epoch is implemented which classifies the posture in the epoch into three classed; dynamic, static_good posture, and static_poor posture. Also the algorithm makes reminding to its wearer to give them the prolonged poor posture is detected. The mean error of measurement was 1.2 degree. The correlation coefficient between neck angle and craniovertebral angle was 0.9 or higher in all cases. With the pilot study on text neck syndrome was also quatified. Average of neck angle were 74.3 degree during the listening in the classroom and 57.8 degree during the smartphoning. Using the wearable sensor suggested, the poor postures of forward head posture and neck neck can be detected in real-time which can remind the wearer according to his/her setting.

        Rapid upper limb assessment와 3차원 동작 분석을 활용한 치석제거 자세교정 교육의 효과

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in the posture of dental hygiene students and clinical dental hygienists when implementing dental scaling before and after posture correction training using the rapid upper limb assessment (RULA) method and 3D motion analysis. Methods: Thirty-two healthy volunteers performed dental scaling to remove artificial calculus on dental manikin. The movement and angle of the joints were verified by RULA and 3D motion analysis during the procedure. The subjects were also photographed for 1 minute during the procedure for 10 minutes while the calculus was removed. After the removal of the calculus, the subject and the instructor checked the video together. Posture correction training was conducted by the instructor so that the subject could perform the calculus removal operation in the correct posture. Artificial calculus of the adjacent teeth was then removed for the same period of time, and the change in posture was reviewed. Results: The total score of the posture change using RULA was 5.72 ± 0.58 before training and 4.31 ± 0.10 after training, showing a significant decrease after training (p<0.001), and upper arm, lower arm, wrist position, neck and waist position showed significant decrease after training. The three-dimensional motion analysis showed significant differences according to the criteria measured at all measurement sites except the left shoulder (p<0.05) Conclusions: It was confirmed through RULA and 3D motion analysis that postural correction training using calculus removal images was effective, and that correct postural education is essential to preventing musculoskeletal diseases caused by removal of calculus.
