        중간층 면진시스템 설치 위치에 따른 고층건물의 지진응답 분석

        Base isolation system is generally used for low-rise buildings. For high-rise buildings subjected to earthquake loads, a mid-story isolation system was proposed and applied to practical engineering. In this study, seismic responses of high-rise buildings considering the installation story of the mid-story isolation system were evaluated. To do this, the 20-story and 30-story building were used as example structures. Historical earthquakes such as Kobe (1995), Northridge (1994) and Loma Prieta (1989) earthquakes were employed applied as earthquake excitations. The installation location of the mid-story isolation system was changed from the bottom of the 1st floor to the bottom of the top floor. The seismic responses of the example building were investigated by changing the location of the isolation layer. Based on the analytical results, when the seismic isolation system is applied, story drift ratio and acceleration response are reduced compared to the case without the isolation system. When the isolation layer is located on the lower part of the building, it is most effective. However, in that case, the possibility that the structure is unstable increases. Therefore, an engineer should consider both structural efficiency and safety when a mid-story isolation system for a high-rise building is designed.

        고층 건물에 적용한 면진 시스템의 설치 위치에 따른 지진 응답 분석

        Seismic isolation systems have typically been used in the form of base seams in mid-rise and low-rise buildings. In the case of high-rise buildings, it is difficult to apply the base isolation. In this study, the seismic response was analyzed by changing the installation position of the seismic isolation device in 3D high - rise model. To do this, we used 30-story and 40-story 3D buildings as example structures. Historic earthquakes such as Mexico (1985), Northridge (1994) and Rome Frieta (1989) were applied as earthquake loads. The installation position of the isolation device was changed from floor to floor to floor. The maximum deformation of the seismic isolation system was analyzed and the maximum interlaminar strain and maximum absolute acceleration were analyzed by comparing the LB model with seismic isolation device and the Fixed model, which is the base model without seismic isolation device. If an isolation device is installed on the lower layer, it is most effective in response reduction, but since the structure may become unstable, it is effective to apply it to an effective high-level part. Therefore, engineers must consider both structural efficiency and safety when designing a mid-level isolation system for high-rise buildings.

        평면 비정형 구조물에 적용된 중간층 면진 시스템의 지진 응답 제어 성능 분석

        In this study, the seismic response is investigated by using a relatively low-rise building under torsion-prone conditions and three seismic loads with change of the location of the seismic isolation system. LRB (Lead Rubber Bearing) was used for the seismic isolator applied to the analytical model. Fixed model without seismic isolation system was set as a basic model and LB models using seismic isolation system were compared. The maximum story drift ratio and the maximum torsional angle were evaluated by using the position of the seismic layer as a variable. It was confirmed that the isolation device is effective for torsional control of planar irregular structures. Also, it was shown that the applicability of the mid-story seismic isolation system. Numerical analyses results presented that an isolator installed in the lower layer provided good control performance for the maximum story drift ratio and the maximum torsional angle simultaneously.

        1920년대 피병원 건립 캠페인과 경성 조선인사회 - 조선후기적 관성과 식민지 시기의 단면 -

        Although it was impossible, Japanese colonialists tried to establish westernized medicalsystem in colonial Korea. There were no substitutions for medical labor force, and Koeransare not accustomed to it. Japanese colonialists cheapened Korean tradiotional doctor, butthey had to educate some of them about preventing cholera. They even made a suggestionto them to build Pibyongwon, which is Korean style isolation hospital. Strictly speaking,encouraging and inducing to discuss about korean friendly agenda in korean society is atrick to shift burdens of health care onto themselves, justified using public interest. But Koreantradiotional doctors and entrepreneurs responded actively on this proposal. Becauseprevention and treatment of cholera were a critical issue to Korean society. There were some logical arguments required to Park, Younghyo to speak out about Pibyongwoncampaign toward Korean society in Seoul, although it was induced. In the processof motion the first man on the initiator list was Kim, Yunsik. Park tried to use symbolicfeatures of Kim, who was a representative of Confucian scholars. Kim treated people whomake a huge effort to solve local problems by themselves as iconic figure. From the perspectiveof autonomist Park, ‘traditional literati’s way of solving problems by leading in autonomic area’ is the strongest logical argument to support his stance as the one of the leadersof Pibyongwon campaign. Although critical mind about leader’s autonomic role had beensucceeded to literati of late Chosun period, those Chosun style inertia was spoiled by Kimand spoiled inertia was reused by Park. The inertia and the condition of reinterpreting can be identified in the discussion aboutthe location. The designation to construct public hospital in the center of the city wascompletely different from perspectives in Chosun period, which was to build an isolationhospital in the outside of the city wall. Koreans’ disharmony to the public hospital was becauseof not only hygiene police system and western medical system, but also the locationof it which invaded Korean citizens’ life-world. As the campaign went into orbit, the locationof it became an issue again. Leaders of the campaign tried to find some suitable placesbased on the traditional perspective, they encounter opposition every time. Oppositionswere severe from outer city wall. As demands about improving residential environment increaseddramatically in Korean society, old locational inertia disappeared from the sights ofurban citizens.
