비연계 비결속 사회 매체 추종자에 의한 언어 간극(間隙)의 자기강화

노형남 ( Hyung Nam Noh ) 서강대학교 언어정보연구소 2011 언어와 정보 사회 Vol.14 No.-

This study sets limits to no-link no-tie social media followers in a speech situation, on treating self-reinforcement of linguistic gapping in agent-based model, and regards these phenomena as covariate relationship among fractals formed spontaneously through rational complicated reciprocal action. By linguistic fluctuation and perturbation according to association path showing convergence of power law Sprachusus is come into being in the long run to be registered as the standard language in Korean language dictionary, setting up general power of speech situation as theoretical framework. Through contrastive-oriented comparison of no-link no-tie social media followers from the standpoint of self-reinforcement by autocatalysis of external linguistics this study focuses on boolean network counting betweenness among routing nodes or vertexes based on cohesion formed with clustering coefficient by unexpected hub in population dynamics of herd behavior. This is a phenom-enon of self-reinforcement on the basis of soliton including volatility clustering caused by nonlinear logic that has not been explained on past quantitative linear logic. This study deals with these concepts from the viewpoint of multi-disciplinary synergetics. Meanwhile this study accomplishes qualitative analysis on no-link no-tie social media followers applying complex adaptive system to variable speech situations in which conflicts and communications among individuals are treated discriminatingly according to the trends from sensitive dependency to initial conditions of self-reinforcement of the boolean network based on linguistic gapping established by social media followers through recognition struggles among fractals of language community, such as QR.

      • 한국적 사회언어학의 모색 : 학제적 접근 a bold interdisiplinary suggestion

김희숙 淸州大學敎 學術硏究所 2005 人文科學論集 Vol.31 No.-

This study is intended to bring up th somewhat overdue issue of what "Korean" soclinguistics is or how it should be, Sociolinguistics, focusing on how language and society are related, was born as an interdisciplinary study between linguistics and social science. Therefore, it is presumed to be able to make clear what linguistics and social sciences cannot explain well respectively. We see that since its introduction, many Korean sociolinguists have amassed numerous brilliant findings. However, as the understanding and application of the general methodology of sociolinguistics is deepening, they are finding it challenged more. This limitation appears to stem from that sociolinguistics was intrinsically developed in the English-speaking environment and that it is skewed to dealing with social factors independent. We argue that "Korean" sociolinguistics must be an interdisciplinary study between sociolinguistics and Korean study and that it can be established by applying the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis to the Korean society. It is based on the belief that if Korea is different from the English-speaking society, linguistic factors should work more significantly as independent variables that before in explaining the relationship between language and society in Korea. Through this, we could achieve a more balanced view towards language and society and contribute to the development of sociolinguistics in general.

A Study on the Discursive Differences between Generations: With Focus on Social Media Communication

        이승재 한국커뮤니케이션학회 2023 커뮤니케이션학연구 Vol.31 No.4

Language is social in nature and communication reflects the social phenomena. Social media as a platform for communication has become a norm even after the pandemic. This study, based on the social properties of language, researched the discursive differences of the social media communication between generations. Of those various social media, KakaoTalk, the most common communication channel in Korea was the research object, where the private conversation was taken place. For the data collection, two communities – one for the group of 20s and the otherfor 60s - were selected using self-retrospective and ethnolingistic approach and the discourses on the chatting from May to July 2023 were analyzed by the length of discourse, the frequency of participation in the discourse, the frequency of emoticons used in the discourse. The result of this study shows differences in the communicative behavior between two groups; the community of 20s are more frequent participation in the chatting and more frequent use of emoticons than that of 60s and prefers the shorter discourse. Consequently, this study shows the generation gap regarding the social media communication between the digital natives of 20s who were grown up with digitals and the digital immigrants of 60s who adapt to digital culture.
