4년제 대학의 사회복지현장실습 교과목 운영 경험에 관한 연구

본 연구는 사회복지 현장실습이 진행되는 과정에서 실습교과목을 운영하는 대학의 실습지도교수를 중심으로 업무 활동 경험을 분석하고 실습목적에 부합되는 대학의 실습교육 개선방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 4년제 대학에서 실습지도를 수행한 경험이 있는 교수 7명을 심층 면접하여 자료를 수집하고, 질적 분석을 위한 연구 방법으로 프레임워크 분석을 사용하였다. 그 결과 대학에서 현장실습을 전담하는 실습지도교수는 3학점의 한 과목을 위하여 거의 1년의 시간을 들여서 사전지도, 선행이수과목 검토, 실습지배치(기관과 실습생의 연결), 기관 방문, 총 15회기의 세미나 수업 운영 등을 주도적으로 운영하고 있었다. 이 모든 과정에서 실제로 행하는 실습지도교수의 업무는 비정형적이어 교수자의 특성 및 대학 간의 편차가 발생하였다. 이에 근거하여 대학(교육기관)의 사회복지현장실습지도의 개선방안으로, 첫째, 학생-기관의 실습지도자-실습지도교수 간에 긴밀한 체계를 형성, 둘째, 실습세미나 수업내용에 대한 최소한의 가이드라인 제시, 셋째, 교육계와 협력하여 기관의 현장실습의 내용에 대한 기준이나 내용에 대한 권고나 지침의 제공, 넷째, 온라인 교육을 병행할 수 있도록 실습지도 방안이 마련 등이 제시되었다. This study has two purposes: 1) to analyze education in the social work field practicum with the supervision experience of faculties field liaisons, 2) to look into future practice guidance improvement plans based on the analyses. This study conducted in-depth interviews with seven professors taught in the social work field practicum at a 4-year university and used framework analysis. In universities, the course of the social work practicum consisted of orientation (during the previous semester), field training (during vacation/during the semester), and seminars. Depending on the school, there were cases where up to 6 credits from 3 credits for it. Faculty field liaisons who are in charge of the social work practicum at the university spend almost a year for one subject of 3 credits, prior guidance, checking previously completed topics, placement of students in the field, visits to field organizations, and operation of a total 15 seminar classes, etc, was leading the way. In all of these processes, the specific activities of faculty field liaisons were atypical, resulting in differences in their characteristics and among universities. Based on the results, the improvement plans for social work field practicum in universities (educational institutions) followed: 1)Establishment of a close system among students-field instructors-faculty field liasions, 2)Establishment of minimum guidelines for seminar classes, 3) Establishment of recommendations or guidelines for standards or field training programs based on collaborating with educational institutions, 4)The development and provision of on-offline combined practice guidance methods.

본 연구의 목적은 대학에서 교직과목으로 상담관련 과목을 이수하여 전문상담교사 자격증을 받게 되는 학생들의 교육실습을 위한 기초적인 방안을 제안하는데 있다. 그 방안으로 첫째, 학교상담의 전문성과 전문상담교사의 역할과 직무에 대한 선행연구를 분석하여 전문상담교사 교육실습의 영역과 목표를 제안하였다. 둘째, 전문상담교사 교육실습을 이끌어갈 인적 주체인 대학 실습지도 교수, 협력학교 실습지도 교사, 교육실습생의 역할을 제안하였다. 셋째, 우리나라 전문상담교사 교육실습의 정착과 발전을 위한 발전과제를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교직과목 이수를 통해 전문상담교사 2급 자격증을 받게 되는 학생이 2009년에 처음으로 배출되어 당장 내년부터 이들에 대한 교육실습을 실시해야 됨에도 불구하고 이에 대한 준비와 연구가 거의 없는 현실에서 교육실습 운영과 효율성 제고방안에 대한 논의를 촉발하고, 나아가 이러한 논의의 기초를 제공함으로써 이론과 실제를 겸비한 전문성 있는 전문상담교사의 양성에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Counselor education programs prepare students to be effective in a profession. It is imperative that programs explicitly prepare students to be counselors first and counseling specialists second. The purpose of this paper is to suggest student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors. The result from this study include as following : a) The specialty of school counseling and the roles of school counselors. b) The area and goals of student-teaching practice for school counselors. c) The role of university supervisors and site supervisors. d) The tasks for development of student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors. The result of this study contribute to improve effectiveness of student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors and to cultivate professional school counselors possessing theory and practice.
