J 적분법을 이용한 Ni-Cr-Mo-V 강의 파괴인성 평가
주영한,한봉기 대한금속재료학회(대한금속학회) 1988 대한금속·재료학회지 Vol.26 No.9
Elastic-plastic fracture toughness(J_(IC)) of Ni-Cr-Mo-V steel with different yield strengths has been evaluated by two different testing methods (ASTM E8l3 JSME S001) and compared with K_(IC) and Charpy V-notch (CVN) impart value. At high yield strength levels, J_(IC) values measured by ASTM and JSME method are almost equal, however, at low yield strength levels, J_(IC) values by the ASTM method exceed those by the JSME method. This difference in J_(IC) values is due to variation in the method of considering crack extension on the specimen fracture surface. The comparison of K_(IC) with J_(IC) and CVN impact values shows that a very good correlation, exists between 93- 144 ㎏/㎟ yield strength levels. Therefore, it is possible to predict K_IC value with J_(IC) and CVN impact test.

The so called protease constitutes the principal parts of enzymotherapy and trypsin, chymotrypsin, streptokinase, plasmin, ?pronase-P, and bromelain are widely used. The basic activity of protease is to specifically split the molecular chain of protein. That is, it hydrolyzes abnormal proteins or from the clinical point of view, this may be described as (1) anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous activities, (2) necrotic tissue liquefying action, (3) anticoagulant activity, and (4) mucus liquefying activity. The direct mechanism of action of protease has been known to be a process whereby an oral protease in absorbed, binds with its inhibitor and the balance between plasmin-inhibitor and plasmin is destroyed, transiently producing such a state where plasmin is dominant, and this causes a therapeutic effect in one way or another. Danzen is a preparation of Serratio-peptidase, an anti-inflammatory oral enzyme, developed by the Research Laboratories of the Takeda Chemical Industries in Japan. It is more potent in anti-inflammatory activity and anti-tumefacient effect than heretofore available anti-inflammatory enzymes and has less side effect. We obtained the clinical experience of Danzen administered to 45 patients; inflammatory diseases 10 cases, swelling and hematoma after injury 8 cases, and postoperative swelling and hematoma 27 cases. The results are as follows: 1) Danzen was effective in reducing the induration of lesions; inflammatory lesion after 5 days of administration, traumatic lesion in 3 days and operative wound in 3 days. 2) Danzen was effective in decreasing the elevated skin temperature of lesions; 3 days after administration in all cases. 3) No particular toxicity or side effect of Danzen was seen, except for mild indigestion in 2 cases. 4) The effective rates were 80% in inflammatory diseases, 87. 5% in swelling and hematoma after injury, and 81. 5% in postoperative swelling and hematoma.

This study was conducted to determine the estimating equations for retail cuts percentage of pork carcass by grading machines and manual measurement with 160 hogs. Carcass grading machines used were Destron Pork grader-100(PG) and Danish Fat-O-Meat`er(FOM), and the summarized results are as follows; l. The carcass weight and carcass length showed negative correlation(r=-0.23, -0.19, respectively) with retail cuts percentage. 2. Among average of two site measurements, the average of backfat thickness at 11-12th ribs and last ribs showed the highest correlation with retail cuts percentage. 3. Average of three site measurements showed lower correlation with retail cuts percentage than average of two site measurements. 4. Conclusively, the estimating equations for retail cuts percentage by measurement methods were Y=77.60-0.003(Hot carcass weight) -4.46(Backfat thickness) for Handling, Y=73.97+0.011(Hot carcass weight) -0.60(Backfat thickness) +0.09(Muscle depth) for PG and Y=74.58+0.022(Hot carcass weight)-0.69(Backfat thickness) +0.07(Muscle depth) for FOM, respectively.

Readout electronics for the scintillation bar tracking detector (SciBar) in the K2K neutrino oscillation experiment has been developed. SciBar has 14 336 scintillator bars in total. The deposited energy and timing of particles from neutrino interactions in the scintillator bars are measured by 64-channel multianode photo-multiplier tubes (MAPMTs). Compact custom-designed electronics to record the MAPMT signals were developed, consisting of front-end circuit boards attached to each MAPMT and back-end electronics modules sitting in a VME crate. The front-end circuit board multiplexes pulse-height information from all 64 anodes and generates a fast triggering signal. Two sets of ASICs (IDEAS VA32HDR11 and TA32CG) are employed for these functions. The bias voltages and relay of control signals are also handled on the board. The back-end electronics module controls the front-end board by providing the control, timing, and low-voltage signals. The board also digitizes the multiplexed signal from the front-end. The electronics achieves low noise of less than 0.3 photo-electrons and good linearity up to 300 (150) photo-electrons for MAPMTs at the gain of 5×105 (106).

<P>We report the measurement of the gamma p -> K+Lambda and gamma p -> K+Sigma(0) reactions at SPring-8. The differential cross sections and photon-beam asymmetries are measured at forward K+ production angles using linearly polarized tagged-photon beams in the range of E-gamma = 1.5-3.0 GeV. With increasing photon energy, the cross sections for both gamma p -> K+Lambda and gamma p -> K+Sigma(0) reactions decrease slowly. Distinct narrow structures in the production cross section have not been found at E gamma = 1.5-3.0 GeV. The forward peaking in the angular distributions of cross sections, a characteristic feature of t-channel exchange, is observed for the production of Lambda in the whole observed energy range. A lack of similar feature for Sigma(0) production reflects a less dominant role of t-channel contribution in this channel. The photon-beam asymmetries remain positive for both reactions, suggesting the dominance of K* exchange in the t channel. These asymmetries increase gradually with the photon energy, and have a maximum value of +0.6 for both reactions. Comparison with theoretical predictions based on the Regge trajectory in the t channel and the contributions of nucleon resonances indicates the major role of t-channel contributions as well as non-negligible effects of nucleon resonances in accounting for the reaction mechanism of hyperon photoproduction in this photon energy regime.</P>

The KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) TF magnet system is a fully superconducting magnet system which consists of 16 TF coils. The TF coil system provides a field of 3.5 T at a plasma center, with a peak flux density at the TF coils of 7.5 T. The stored energy is 470 MJ. TF coils use a Nb3Sn superconducting strand with Incoloy alloy 908 (afterward, Incoloy 908) conduit. The Nb3Sn strand has KSTAR HP-III specifications in which the critical current density is greater than 750 A/mm2 at 12 T, 4.2 K. The nominal current of the TF coils is 35.2 kA with all coils in series. For the fabrication of CICC (Cable-In-Conduit Conductor), a continuous CICC jacketing system is developed, and the procedures of coil fabrication are established to develop the TF coil. The prototype TF coil and the TF 01 16 coils are fabricated for the KSTAR superconducting magnet system. The TF17 coil which will be used as a back up coil is under fabrication. The overall TF coil fabrication will be completed by the end of December 2005.=
