      • Oil Contents and Fatty Acid Composition of Korean Perilla (Perilla ocimoides L.) Collections

        This study was carried out to obtain informations on the variations of oil content and fatty acid composition among 90 Korean perilla collections. Average oil content of 90 perilla collections was 44.2% with a range from 29.7% to 61.9%. Perilla collections with late-maturing, super-large seed and gray seed coat showed higher oil content than other types in general. Average saturated fatty acid content in perilla oil was 9.0% with a range from 8.2% to 10.7%, while average unsaturated fatty acid content varied from 89.3% to 91.8% with a mean of 91.0%. Contents of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids were not related to maturity. There were no differences in the contents of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids according to maturity. Linoleic acid and linolenic acid contents were the highest in the super large-sized group(15.5%) and in the large-sized seed group(61.4%), respectively, while contents of fatty acids among the perilla collections were variable with different seed coat colors. Most of the traits studied were not significantly correlated with oil content, but linoleic acid($\omega$ 수식 이미지-6) content was negatively correlated (r=-0.217*) with linolenic acid(ω-3) content.

      • 김치에서 분리한 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7과 Lactobacillus acidophilus 88간의 Electrofusion 최적조건 설정

        김치 발효 숙성기간을 연장하고 신선도를 오랫동안 유지 할 수 있는 김치발효 starter의 개발을 목적으로 최적숙성기에 있는 김치로부터 bacteriocin생성능이 없는 유산균을 분리하여 동정하였으며, bacteriocin생성능이 우수한 L.acidophilus 88을 융합시키기 위해 electrofusion에 대한 최적 조건을 검토하였다. 분리균주는 Lactobacillus속으로 동정되어 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7이라 명명하였다. Electrofusion에 의해 생성된 융합주를 식별하기 위해 streptomycin(2.5㎎/ml)에 내성을 나타내는 Lactobacillus sp. JC-7변이주와 kanamycin(600㎍/ml)에 내성을 나타내는 L.acidophilus 88변이주를 분리하였다. Electrofusion을 100V/㎝, 120msec(72ohms,1670 capacitance) 에서 수행했을 때 융합효율이 가장 양호하였으며 전기장의 세기와 시간이 중가할수록 융합 효율이 현저히 감소하였다. 2가 양이온은 농도가 중가할수록 대체적으로 융합효율을 감소시키는 경향을 나타내었으나 1mM MGCl_2에서는 대조군에 비해 융합효율이 약간 증가하였다. PEG매개에 의한 융합법의 융합효율을 비교한 결과, 융합효율은 chemical fusion<electrofusion<electrofusion+20% PEG순을 나타내었다. Evaluation of Optimum Conditions for the Electrofusion between Lactobacillus sp. JC-7 Isolated from Kimchi and Lactobacillus acidophilus 88. Young-Bae Jo, Hyun-Jung Choi, Hyung-Suk Baik and Hong-Ki Jun*. Department of Microbiology, Pusan National University, Pusan 609-735,Korea-A lactic acid bacterium was isolated from kimchi. The isolated strain was identified as the genus Lactobacillus thrugh its morphological characteristics and named as Lactobacillus sp. JC-7. The optimum conditions for the electrofusion between streptomycin(2.5㎎/ml)resistant mutant of Lactobacillus acidophilus 88 and kanamycin(600㎍/ml) resistant mutant Lactobacillus sp. JC-7 were evaluated. The highest number of fusants were obtained at a capacitance value of 120msec(1670㎌), a field strength of 100V/㎝,and a pulse controller setting of 72Ω. The potimum pH of elecroporation buffer was 7.5 and the concentration of divalent cation was 1mM MG^2+. Electrofusants were efficiently obtained by addition 20% polyethylene glycol to electroporation buffer. The yield of fusion was better than that of using polyethylene glycol mediated chemical induction.

      • Planococcus屬 菌株가 生成하는 Alkaline Lipase

        A microorganism producing alkaline lipase strongly was isolated. The optimal condition to produce alkaline lipase by the selected strain was as follows; the medium was composed of 2% sucrose, 3% soybean meal, 0.6% K_2HPO_4 0.1%(NH_4)_2SO_4 0.1% urea, and 0.1% MgSO_4, 7H_2O., and the initial pH was 8.0 to 8.5 and culture time was 48hr. The lipase of the culture supernatant was purified by fraction-with ammonium sulfate at 30-50% saturation, followed by DEAE-cellulose chromatography. The specific activity of the purified enzyme was about 7.8 times over that of the starting centrifugate, and the yield was about 8.05% of the original activity. The enzymatic characteristics is included as follows; optimal pH of the enzyme was 9.0, and the stable pH range was between 6 to 10, and optimal temperature was 55C. And more than 85% of the enzyme activity remained after exposure at 60C for 30 min. Lipase activities were stimulated in the presence of Ca^++ and Mg^++, and inhibited in the presence of Hg^++ and Cu^++ The enzyme was apt to hydrolyze oils containing natural triglycerides plentifully. On the basis of the taxonomical studies, the selected strain was identified as Planococcus sp.

        수학적 대상의 추상적 성격과 이론구성의 공리적 방법은, 전체적으로 과학은 진리의 문제해결이라는 큰 테두리에서 보아야 하며, 폭을 좁혀 실질적 내용을 수반하는 추상적 대상에 관해서는 수학적 개념에 포함된 자연과학의 이론에 의존하여야 된다. 소수의 정의와 공리로부터 정리가 논리적으로 유도되는 수학이론의 공리적 구성에 있어서는, 그 이론의 진리성의 문제는 공리 및증명에 적용되는 논리적 추론방법의 진리성의 문제에 귀착된다. 순수수학에서 증명의 엄밀성은 정리를 수학적 진리로 인정하기 위해서 큰 의의를 갖는다. 수학자는 누구나 정리가 공리로부터 엄밀히 논리적으로 유도되면 그 정리는 증명되었다고 생각한다. 수학에 잇어서 추론의 엄밀성의 기준을 얻으려면, 논리적 연관의 해석을 위해, 형식의 정확한 언어를 적용하는 수학적 논리학에 관해서 연구되어야 한다. 언어의 표현에서 생길수 있는 불명료한 것들은 언어의 힘으로 제거될 수 있다. 학문의 현상에 의해서 생길 수 있는 수학적 진리에 관련되는 몇 가지 문제는 순 수학적 방법으로 해결가능하다. 그러나, 보다 상세히 분석해 보면 증명의 엄밀성이란, 개념 그 자체와 마찬가지로, 본질적으로는 추론의 이론적 원칙과 방법등의 진리성에 있어서 특히 철학적 분석을 필요로 하고 있다.

        The effects of stoichiometry(x) and substrate temperature(T_(s)) on SiOx/S_(1)O_(2) multilayers(MLs) have been systematically investigated during their growth by reactive ion beam sputter deposition, The photoluminescence(PL) spectra of the post-annealed samples are strongly correlated with the formation of S_(1) nanocrystals in the MLs, which is confirmed by high resolution transmission electron microscopy. These results suggest that T_(s) and x play an important role for the visible PL attributed to the quantum confinement effect of S_(1) nanocrystals.

      • CTBN고무 분산 에폭시 복합재의 기계적물성 및 파단면에 관한 연구

        We examined the mechanical properties (flexural and impact) and fracture surface of CTBN(carboxyl terminated butadiene acrylonitrile) rubber dispersed epoxy composites which are cured with MTHPA(methyl tetrahydro phthalic anhydride) or DICY(dicyandiamide). Rubber dispersed epoxy composites are prepared to blend epoxy mixture with CTBN rubber or CTBN rubber modified epoxy. It contains 0-25% CTBN rubber of liquid compoment. The results obtained in this experiment are as follows ; 1. The flexural stength is better in using the CTBN rubber than CTBN rubber modified epoxy. 2. In excess of 25% CTBN rubber, the cured epoxy composites are closed to rubber rather than epoxy in properties. It is very flexible. 3. In respect of the flexural stength and flexural modulus, CTBN x13 rubber is superior to CTBN x8 rubber. In excess of 5% CTBN rubber, The mechanical properties of both decrease sharply. 4. In respect of the impact stength, flexural stength and rubber dispersion, MTHPA is superior to DICY.

      • 대학생들의 안전교육 및 안전의식에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to figure out current status of safety education until today and safety consciousness of university students. For this study, the 300 university students were taken among freshmen and sophomores in gimcheon university. Furthermore it is try to realize the necessity of additional safety education in universi-ty and the unification of emergency call numbers. The results are as follows: 1. It was showed that the most students prefer unified emergency call number not divided. 2. Marine accident safety education was lowered compared with other life safety ducations such as fire, earthquake, and traffic safety educations. 3. It was showed that many university students wish additional actual safety educa- tion in university as academic subjects. 4. University students consider that Sewol passenger ship accident was caused by eficient of vocation and safety frigidity of crew and company staffs. And in order to revent this kind of accident, crew vocation should be built up, students safety duca-tion should be strengthened and government agency should watch severely the hip remodelling

      • 카본블랙의 종류 및 배합제의 혼합방법에 따른 NR/HNBR 블렌드의 특성

        It was studied how physical properties, heat resistance, oil resistance, ozone resistance of NR(natural rubber)/HNBR(hydrogenated acrylonitrile butadiene rubber) blends influenced by different mixing methods and various carbon black types. Of the various mixing methods, masterbatch mixing method was better than others in considering the overall stabilities of the compounds. The most important parameter which influenced on heat, oil and ozone resistance was rubber material than sorts of carbon black. The resistance for heat, oil and ozone of NR compounds were improved by blending HNBR and these effects were revealed clearly at elevated temperatures.
