        고속액체크로마토그래피-가시선/자외선 검출기를 이용한 Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate 검출 방법 검증과 일부 한국 성인 남성 혈액 중 DEHP 정량

        목적: 이 연구는 HPLC-UV를 이용한 생체 시료 중 저농도의 DEHP 분석법을 CDER 기준에 따라 검증하고 검증된 분석법으로 일부 한국의 혈장 중의 DEHP를 분석하여 인체 노출 정도를 뒷받침할 수 있는 기초 자료를 제시하고자 한다. 방법: 혈액 내 DEHP 정량을 위한 HPLC-UV 정량 분석법을 CDER의 검증 기준인 검량선 및 직선성과 정밀성, 정확성에 대해 시행하였다. 검증된 분석법으로 울산과 춘천 일부 지역의 근로자 30세 이상 60세 이하의 건강한 남성 255명으로부터 채취한 혈액 내 DEHP를 정량하였다. 결과: 혈액 중 DEHP 정량을 위해 사용된 HPLC-UV는 표준액 0∼150 μg/l 에서 직선성을 나타냈다(r²=0.999). 검량한계는 5.22 μg/l , 정량한계는 15.81 μg/l 이었다. 정밀성과 정확도는 2.5 μg/l DEHP 농도에서 첫째 날을 제외하고는 둘째 날과 셋째 날은 CDER 기준에 적합하였다. 50 μg/l 과 150 μg/l DEHP 농도는 모두 CDER 기준에 적합하였다. 대상자의 98 %가 10 μg/l 이하이었고, 85%는 5 μg/l 이하이었고 왼쪽으로 치우친 분포를 나타냈으며, 최고 농도는 18.9 μg/l 이었다. 대상자의 혈액의 DEHP 농도의 기하평균과 기하표준편차는 0.4±1.5 μg/l 이었다. 결론: 본 연구에 사용된 HPLC-UV를 이용한 혈액 중 DEHP 분석법은 CDER 기준에 따라 검증한 결과 정밀도, 정확도, 검출한계 및 정량한계 등 모든 항목에서 기준에 적합하였다. 일부 한국 성인 남자의 혈액 중 DEHP 농도는 0∼18.9 μg/l 이었으며 왼쪽으로 치우친 분포를 나타냈다. Objectives: This study was conducted to validate a simple, rapid and sensitive reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method with UV detector (HPLC-UV) and present the plasma level of di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) in some Korean male workers. Methods: HPLC-UV for quantification of plasma DEHP was validated by the following guideline from the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) - calibration/standard curve, precision, accuracy and recovery. Plasma DEHP from 255 healthy Korean male workers aged from 30 to 60 years was analyzed by validated HPLC-UV method. Results: The calibration curve over the range 0∼150 μg/l for the plasma DEHP standard solution showed linearity(r²=0.999). The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of plasma DEHP were 5.22 μg/l and 15.81 μg/l , respectively. The accuracy and precision for 2.5 μg/l of DEHP were acceptable in CDER guideline on the second and third day but not first day, and those for 50 μg/l and 150 μg/l of DEHP were acceptable on all three days(Ed-confirm this addition). The distribution of plasma DEHP level was skewed to the left and ranged from 0 to 18.9 μg/l. The plasma DEHP level was lower than 10 μg/l for 98 % of subjects and lower than 5 μg/l for 85 %. The geometric mean and standard deviation of plasma DEHP were 0.4±1.5 μg/l. Conclusions: The HPLC-UV method for quantification of plasma DEHP was acceptable by CDER guideline. The plasma DEHP of 255 Korean male workers ranged from 0 to 18.9 μg/l and the distribution was skewed to the left.

        Goretex를 이용한 융비술

        융비술시 실리콘 고무는 다루기 쉽고 조직 반응이 적어 현대 많이 돌출의 합병증이 생길 수 있다. 저자등은 이러한 실리콘의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 goretex를 사용하여 융비술을 시행하고 비첨에 대해서 자가연골을 이식하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 goretex가 안면부 연조직의 증강을 위한 이식재료로 적합하다고 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Many different materials have been used to provide augmentation of the nasal dorsum. this include both autogenous and homogenous materials,as well as allografts. Silicone among the artificial materials has been most widely used. The silicone has some advantages and disadvantages. Goretex(expanded polytetra-fluoroethylene) which has widely used in vascular surgery and abdominal surgery can be used for facial soft tissue augmentation. The author presemts 2 cases of nasal augmentaion using goretex with literature review.

        성인간호학회지 논문(1989-2000)의 내용과 경향 분석

        "Journal of Korean Academy of Adult Nursing" has been published since 1989 and more than 330 articles have been published up 2000. We reviewed all the articles published in this journal to analyze the contents and trend of published articles and to find out the way of improvement both in quantity and quality of studies in this area. The results are as follows : 1) Ninety percent of articles were quantitative studies. Experimental design was used in 16.1% and quasi-experimental design was adapted in 73.6% of articles. Qualitative research were 10.3% of total articles reviewed. 2) Only 5.1% of articles described theoretical framework and 73.6% of experimentally designed articles included research hypotheses. 3) Among experimental studies, only one was true experimental studie design. Eighty nine point three persent had descriptive survey method among non-experimental studies. Amog the thirty four qualitative studies, phenomenologic(73.5%), grounded theory(14.7%), and ethnographic (11.8%) design were used. 4) Most of research subject were patients and few healthy people, healthcare worker, and patient family. 5) Psychosocial data collection method which used questionnaire were 53.7% and interview. physical measurement, observation were used in 22.8%. 8.2% 5.4% of articles respectively. 6) Total number of keywords were 692, and average number of key words per article was 2.2. Health-related keyword was the most frequently used according to four metaparadigm of nursing (human, health, nursing, and environment). Environment related keyword was rarely appeared. The number and quality of nursing research in "Journal of Korean Academy of Adult Nursing" have been improved continuously. It is difficult to find out special trend or characteristics which is unique in this journal because of relatively short history of adult nursing studies. This review study was performed to analyze adult nursing studies only in the view of quantitative aspect, but it is needed to analyse qualitatively to find philosophical or theoretical trend in nursing.

        Case Reports : A Case of Poikiloderma Vasculare Atrophicans

        Poikiloderma vasculare atrophicans (PVA) is a rare variant of mycosis fungoides, and is characterized by generalized hyperkeratotic scaly papules in net-like, retiform, or zebra-like patterns. A 59-year-old Korean woman presented with asymptomatic, erythematous-to-violaceous, reticulated confluent papules on the trunk and extremities. Skin lesions were initially limited to both thighs 25 years ago, and then spread slowly over her body. Histopathological examination showed band-like inflammatory infiltrations and epidermo-tropism consisting of mostly CD8+ lymphocytes. Based on the clinical manifestations and histological findings, the diagnosis of PVA was made. We herein report on a case of PVA, which featured a long-benign course without progression into the tumor stage over a period of 30 years. (Ann Dermatol 23(S1) S48∼S52, 2011)

        주기적인 낮은 강도의 운동부하가 뒷다리부유쥐의 Type Ⅰ, Ⅱ 근육에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of periodic low intensity exercise during hindlimb suspension on the mass and cross-sectional area of type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ fibers in soleus (type Ⅰ) and plantaris (type Ⅱ)muscle. To examine the effectiveness of periodic weight support activity in maintaining mass and fiber size, the hindlimb of adult female Wistar rats were suspended (HS) and, half of these rats were walked on treadmill for 45 min/day(15min every 4hat 5m/min and a 15℃ grade(HS-EX). After 7days of hindlimb suspension, soleus wet weight was 18.2% smaller and relative soleus weight was 13.04% smaller in comparison with control rats(p<0.05). Soleus wet weight and relative soleus wight increased 18.77%, 12.5% each by periodic exercise during hindlimb suspension (p<0.05), whereas it was similar to control in the HS-EX rats. Planta5ris wer weight and relative plantaris weight showed a tendency to decrease by 9.42% and 5.83% in the HS rats. Plantaris wet weight and relative plantaris weight demonstrated a tendency to increase by 8.49%, 5.15% respectively by low intensity exercise during hindlimb sus^pension, whereas it was near to control in the HS-EX rats. No change were observed in fiber type percentages after 1 week or hindlimb suspension of hindlimb suspension plus exercise. Type Ⅰ fiber cross-sectional area of both soleus and plantaris muscle was 29.27% and 31.9% lower in the HS than control, that of both muscles was 17.01% and 28.51% greater in the HS-EX than HS rats((p<0.001). Hs plus periodic low intensity exercise resulted in type Ⅰ fiber cross-sectional area nearer to control. Type Ⅱ fiber cross-sectional area of both soleus and plantaris muscle was 14.16% and 8.06% smaller in the HS than control, that of both muscles in the HS-EX was 7.69% and 16.34% greater than HS(P<0.001). Periodic exercise during hindlimb suspension resulted in type Ⅱ fiber cross-sectional nearer to control value. The results suggest that periodic low intensity exercise can ameliorate soleus and plantaris atrophy induced by hindlimb suspension, even in type Ⅱ fibers that would have been expected not to be recruited by this type of neuromuscular demand.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, hierarchically three-dimensional (3D) nanotubular sea urchin-shaped iron oxide nanostructures (3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>) were synthesized by a facile and rapid ultrasound irradiation method. Additives, templates, inert gas atmosphere, pH regulation, and other complicated procedures were not required. Dense 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> with a relatively large Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area of 129.4 m<SUP>2</SUP>/g was synthesized within 23 min, and the BET surface area was further improved to 282.7 m<SUP>2</SUP>/g by a post heat-treatment process. In addition, this post processing led to phase changes from maghemite (γ phase) to hematite (α phase) Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>. Subsequent characterization suggested that the growth mechanism of the 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> follows self-assembly and oriented attachment. The prepared 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> was applied to wastewater purification. Ultrasound-irradiated 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> can eliminate a As(V) and Cr(VI) from water with 25 times faster removal rate by using a one third smaller amount than commercial α-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>. This was attributed to the inter-particle pores and relatively positively charged surface of the nanostructure. In addition, post heat treatment on ultrasound-irradiated 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> significantly influenced the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue and phenol, with a 25 times higher removal efficiency than that of commercial α-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, because of both high BET surface area and good crystallization of the prepared samples.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The 3D- Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> can be mass-produced by ultrasound irradiation method. </LI> <LI> The 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> possesses high BET surface area and interconvertible phase. </LI> <LI> The 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> exhibits rapid adsorption rates for heavy metals. </LI> <LI> The 3D-Fe<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB> exhibits excellent photocatalytic activities toward the dyes. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
