      • 白色 및 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄의 血液像에 관한 비교연구

        현재 국내에서 飼養되고 있는 産卵鷄의 표준 血液學値를 作成하고자 學土農場에서 집단 飼育되고 있는 白 色 Babcork 産卵鷄와 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서 임의로 추출한 40週齡의 암닭에 대하여 血色素, 白血球量 및 Hematocrit를 측정 하였고 그 平均赤血球容積(M. C. V) , 平均赤血球血色素量(M. C. H)와 平均赤血球濃度(M. C. H. C)를 계산하여 平均値를 求하였으며 統計的 有意性을 檢定하였던바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다 . 1. 亦血球數(R. B. C)는 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄는 2.78 ± 0.0537 × 10^6/cu· mm· 이었으며 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서는 2.82 ± 0.1954 × l0^6/cu·mm· 이었다. 2. 血色素量은 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄는 8.98 ± 0.3023gm/100ml이고 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서는 8.76 ± 0.1207 gm /100ml 이었다. 3. Hematocrit直는 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄는 28.94 ± 0.9069% 이었고 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서는 28.28 ± 0.3618% 이었다. 4. 平均赤血球容積(M.C.V), 平均赤血球血色素量(M.C.H)와 平均末血球血色素濃度(M.C.H.C)는 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서 104.04 ± 1.9695cu, 32.278 ± 0.6268μμg, 31.02 ± 0.0729% 이고 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서는 102.02 ± 6.3415cu, 30.80 ± 1.5465 μμg, 30.98 ± 1.5465% 이었다. 5. 總白血球數(W. B. C)는 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서 I7.33 ± l.9841 × 10^3/cu · mm · 이고 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄에서는 l7.55 ± 1.7997 이었다. 6. 두 種 사이의 赤血球歡, 血色素量, Hematocrit値, 平均赤血球容積(M. C. V), 平均赤血球色素量(M. C. H), 平均赤血球色素濃度 (M. C. H. C), 總白血球數에서는 統計的 有意差가 認定되지 않았다. 7. 體重은 白色 Babcork 産卵鷄 1.74 ± 0.0797kg이고 有色 Babcork 産卵鷄 2.2 ± 0.0354kg 이였으며 5% 수준의 有意差가 인정 되었다. 8. 赤血球數와 白色素의 相關係는 두 種 모두다 有意性이 인정 되지 않았다. The results of normal blood pictures of White Babcork Hens and Yellow Babcork Hens were as follows: 1. The number of the erythrocytes showed the everage value of 2.78 ± 0.0537 million per. cu. mm. in White Babcork Hens, and 2.82 ± 0.1954 million per. cu. mm. in Yellow Babcork Hens. 2. The hemoglobin value showed the everage of 8.98+0.3023 gm. per 100ml. In White Babcork Hens, and 8.76+0.1207 gm. per l00ml. in Yellow Babcork Hens. 3. The hematocrit value showed the everage of 28.94 ± 0.9069 percent in White Babcork hens, and 28.28+0.3618 percent in Yellow Babcork Hens. 4. Mean corpuscular (M. C. V.), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (M. C. H.) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (M. C. H. C.) showed 104.04 ± 1. 9659 cu, 32.80 ± 0.6288 uug, 30.98 ± 0.0729 percent in White Bbcork Hens, and 102.02 ± 6.3415 cu, 30.80 ± 1.5465 uug, 30.98 ± 1.5465 percent in Yellow Babcork Hens. 5. The total leukocyte count showed 17.55 ± 1.7997 thousand per cu mm. in Yellow Bab-cork Hens, and 17.33 ± 1.9841 thousand per cu mm. in White Babcork Hens. 6. The number of the erythrocyte, hemoglobin, hematocrite, M. C. V., M. C. H., M. C. H. C., and total leukocyte count observed did not show significant difference between White Babcork Hens and Yellow Babcork Hens. 7. Body weight showed 1.74 ± 0.0797kg in White Babcork Hens, and 2.2 ± 0.0354kg in Yellow Babcork Hens. There appeared higher significant difference between them. 8. The correlation between number of the erythrocyte and volume of the hemogiobin was not shown significant difference between White Babcork Hens and Yellow Hens

        In this study, fiber-optic sensor is fabricated to measure PDD of CLINAC. As a scintillating light generated by a high energy X-ray from the medical LINAC is measured using photo diode amp system, It is expected that a high-resolution, real-time fiber-optic dosimeter for medical LINAC can be developed.

        유소아 응급처치시 Ketamine hydrochloride의 효과

        Our study was made on 96 cases of ketamine anesthesia, who visited to emergency department of Chosun university hospital. This patient was not controlled by verbal order and lidocaine anesthesia, and indication for the use of ketamine(from 1 to 5 years old). Dosage of ketamine in the intramuscular injection was 5mg/kg, in the intravenous injection was 2mg/kg. The results were as follows; 1. After the ketamine injected, expending time doing induction was for 2∼4 minutes in cases of intramuscular injection, and expending time doing induction was for 20∼60 seconds in cases of intravenous injection 2. After the ketamine injected, patient`s awake time was 50±5 minutes in case of intramuscular injection, and that is 20±5 minutes in cases of intravenous injection. 3. Injected ketamine caused increased blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate, and saturation of oxygen was maintained 92-98% level. 4. In adverse effect, the presence of spontaneous eye opening, mild a groan, purposeless involuntary movement and increased excretion of saliva was appeared. 5. Advantage of ketamine injection was that one attendant was enough for restraining the patient, and reduced pain sense, and operator performed various procedures easily on stable condition. From the above results, it was considered in emergency department that indications for ketamine anesthesia are primary closure of simple facial laceration, burn dressing, and some diagnostic procedures( cardiac & ureteric catheterization, cystoscopy) in pediatric patients. It was considered, that all procedures should be performed under fullfill all the condition such as professional control devices(esp. central monitoring system) and basic CPR instruments and ketamine anesthesia-skilled doctor.

        자발성 두개내 저압증(Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension)의 임상적 분석

        Backgrouds : Headache is one of the common symptoms complained by patients at the emergency department. Postural headache is the characteristic symptom that is aggravated at upright position and relieved at recumbent position. This postural headache is associated with low cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure. Spontaneous intracranial hypotension(SIH) is an unusual syndrome of postural headache and low CSF pressure without a precipitating event. The diagnosis of SIH is confirmed by 60mmH2O or less CSF opening pressure on lumbar puncture. However, the cases of SIH with normal CSF opening pressure have been reported. so it is needed to complement the diagnostic criteria of SIH. Methods : A retrospective descriptive study with reviewing medical records of 10 patients who had been admitted at Asan Medical Center from Apr. 1995 to Jul. 1999 was done. Analyses were done of 22 variables of age, sex, clinical symptoms, spinal analysis findings, radiologic findings and therapeutic modality. Fisher's exact test and Mann-Whitney test were applied for statistical analysis (p-value < 0.05). Results ; 1. The male to female ratio was 3:7, and the mean age was 37.30±5.96 years. 2. Postural headache was characteristic symptom & complained by all patients. 3. The mean CSF pressure was 22.8±30.8 mmH2O. 4. Brain MRI demonstrated the pachymeningeal enhancement in all patients. 5. Radioisotope cisternography demonstrated slow ascent of tracer to the cerebral convexity in 88.9% patients, early soft tissue uptake suggestive of CSF leakage & rapid urinary accumulation of tracer in 66.7% patients, respectively. 6. 90.0% of all patients were recovered with autologous epidural blood patches, and 10.0% were recovered with conservative management. Conclusion : The SIH is an unusual syndrome. but we can diagnose the SIH in the patient, complains of a postural headache, if any following two or more criteria are present. 1. 60mmH2O or less CSF opening pressure on lumbar puncture. 2. Brain MRI finding : the pachymeningeal enhancement. 3. Cisternography findings : slow ascent of tracer to the cerebral convexity, early soft tissue uptake suggestive of CSF leakage & rapid urinary accumulation of tracer.

        폴리에스테르 섬유 감량시스템의 제어를 위해서는 처리조 내에서 감량되는 섬유가 목표 감량치에 도달했는지를 판단해 주는 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 가성소다용액의 초농도 및 섬유 감량 정도의 정확한 측정과 감량 종료시간의 산출 및 이에 따른 종료신호를 발생할 수 있는 폴리에스테르 섬유 감량기 전용의 자동적정장치를 개발하였다. To control caustic soda treatment system for the polyester fabric reduction, we need the device to determine that the fabric has been arrived target reduction value. In this study, we develope an automatic process titrator for the caustic soda treatment system. Major functions of the target titrating system are accurate measurements of the caustic soda concentration and then producing the end point signal for caustic soda treatment system.

        생체내 심근허혈-재관류 모델에서 멜라토닌의 재관류 부정맥에 대한 심근보호작용에 관한 연구

        Background: Recently, a few studies demonstrated that melatonin reduced the severity of myocardial reperfusion injuries, such as reperfusion arrhythmias. However, it is uncertain whether the melatonin reduces reperfusion arrhythmias in thus anesthetized animals because results were obtained using isolated hearts. Thus, to see whether melatonin reduces reperfusion arrhythmias in anesthetized animals, we examined the effect of melatonin on the incidence of reperfusion arrhythmias in an anesthetized-cat model of regional ischemia. Method: Adult mongrel male cats(n=30, 2.9∼4.2 kg) were anesthetized under positive-pressure artificial ventilation with room air. The animals of the control group(n=15) were subjected to 20-minute left anterior descending coronary artery(LAD) occlusion followed by abrupt reperfusion. The animals in experimental group(n=15) were divided into two. Group I(n=6) was pretreated with melatonin, 1 mg/kg, before occluding the LAD. Group II(n=9) was pretreated with melatonin, 10 mg/kg. The animals in experimental group were subjected to ischemia/reperfusion insult following drug treatment: melatonin was applied intra-peritoneally for 3 minutes just before LAD coronary artery ligation. The Fisher's exact test was used to compare the data from different animal groups. p<0.05 was considered significant. Results: The incidence of ventricular fibrillation(VF) during the reperfusion phase in group II(pretreated with melatonin, 10 mg) was significantly smaller than that in the control group(p-value = 0.0029). However, no statistically significant difference of VF incidence was found between group I(pretreated with melatonin, 1 mg) and the control group. Conclusion: Employing an anesthetized-cat model of regional cardiac ischemia, we investigated the dose-dependant effects of melatonin on reperfusion-induced arrhythmia. The cats pretreated with 10 mg/kg of melatonin before ischemia had a significantly reduced incidence of lethal reperfusion-induced arrhythmia, but there was no difference between the cats pretreated with 1 mg/kg of melatonin before ischemia and the control group.

      • 안구적출에 따른 위둔덕의 칼슘결합단백질의 재구축 및 상호 연관성

        Background: Superior colliculus is a part of midbrain, and participates in the visual reflexes, It receives afferent fibers from optic nerve, visual cortex, and spinotectal tract. After optic deprivation, the microscopic structure of the superior colliculus changed. Calcium-binding proteins (CBPs) Play an important role in the neuronal protection, differentiation and reorganization of the central nervous system, Objectives and Methods: The effects of neonatal retinal deafferentation on a CBPs, calbindm D-28k (CB), Parvalbumin (PB) and calretimn (CR), and the existence of colocalization between the CBPs were examined immunohistochemically in the rat superior colliculus. Results: On the experimental (contralateral to enucleation) side of superior colliculus, the number of CB-immunoreactive (IR) cells was reduced (77.4% compared to control), but not fibers. The number of PB-IR neurons and fibers was also reduced on the experimental side (88.5% compared to control), In the other hand, the CR-IR cells were dramatically increased (642% compared to control), but CR-IR fibers were markedly decreased on the experimental side. The colocalization between CB-CR and PV-CR was rarely observed in the superior colliculus Conclusion: These results suggest that the changes of retinotectal projection may alter the expressional pattern of CBPs in different manners; relatively stable in CB- and PV-IR neurons and plastic in CR-IR neurons.

      • 치료용 방사선의 입사각에 따른 광섬유 방사선량계의 체렌코프 빛 측정 및 분석

        In this study, we have measured scintillating light generated in a fiber-optic dosimeter by high energy photon and electron beams using a charge-coupled device. The intensity of Cerenkov lights are also measured and characterized as functions of incident angles and energies of the high energy beams from a clinical linear accelerator. To minimize or remove Cerenkov light, a simple subtraction method using a background optical fiber and wavelength discrimination method using optical filters are investigated. Also, the intensities of Cerenkov light induced by high energy photon and electron beams are compared.
