      • Robert Lowell의 詩想形成

        <Abstract>Robert Lowell(1917-1977) was born in Boston, with James Russell Lowell for great-great-uncle and Amy Lowell for distant cousin. He attended St. Mark's School under the poet Richard Eberhart who showed the boy's poetic genius. He enrolled at Harvard University; after two years he transferred to Kenyon College so he could study with John Crowe Ransom. At Lousiana State University he studied with Robert Penn Warren and Cleanth Brooksi forming a close friendship with Allen Tatei so that he was immersed in the group of New Critics, and in their prediction for "formals difficult poems". As was showed above, Lowell was apprenticed to the leading contemporary American critics and poetsi and experimented in the most divergent style under those influences.In 1938 Lowell was invited to read his poems in the Kathryn Irene Glascock Intercollegiate Poetry Contest sponsored by Mount Holyoke College, representing Kenyon College. Included were six short poem: 'Epitaph', the first·poem·iin the contest, memorialize a monitor at the school Ivho died in an automobile accident. It is one of Lowell's last efforts under the easygoing guidance of Eberhart before he devoted higlself to the rigorous predecessors, Tate and Ransom. The second poem, 'The Dandelion Girls' is famous for his imaginative use of imagery and his willingess to take on complex problems of human experience. It was reshaped into 'The Drunken fisherman' in Lord Weary's Castle. The third poem, entitled 'The Lady,' memorializes a recently deceased acquaintance. In this peon Lowell was trying to infuse ambiguity and ambivalence into his works imitating New Critical guidelines for good poetry, Indeed he all·kwardly attempted to come to deal with his complex feelings for his dead matemal grandmother.The fourth poems 'Aunt Hecuba,' was expressed the Lowell's obsession with death into the historical, spiritual morbidity which runs Lowell's families in Boston. 'A Suicidal Fantasy' , the last poem in which he used the extensive alegory, was based on 'The Slough of Despond' in Bunyan's "The Pilgrim's" and developed the paradox of the body and the soul in the setting of the modern age's automobiles and train trestles. Especially he shows his arllbitions for the meditated dictions imageryi hermetic symbolisms irony and ambiguity which was the main targets of New Critics. He published five poems in Hika which was Kenyonis journal. In 'Lake View' he demonstrated his concern for the regular form and craftsmansllip learned by Ransom and Tate, so that he exhibited his real poetic talent and ambition. "A Prelude to Summer" was a stiff, awkward attempt with the Petrarchan sonnets but he showed some of the flairs for incongruity and compression of his mature verse. fcloudsi in which he worked with the difficult relationship between the spirit and the body was an experimental poem of metaphysical ideas. 'Cloisters' ties opposite elements by the means of irony and sarcastic mockery of him, which showed a decidedly New Critical metaphysical flavor.'Sublime Feriam Sidere Vertice$apos; was a good poem because he incorporated the apocal-yptic, religious violence that led his works to characterize appropriate inspiration for young poets. A portion of this poem became a part of 'Leviathan' later in Land of Unlikeness.In conclusion, Robert Lowell writes his poem in thought through experiences: family mentorsi religion, political and social affairs. His early poems in which he exercised all the poetic talent and contradictory logic were composed of very different elements which resulted in the good formations of later poems. Thus, in order to know the Lowell's poetic characters, images and forms, the reader should snrvey the aspects of his early days.

        Marianne Moore (1887~ 1972) is the one of the modern poets during the twentieth century in America. She plays a central role in the modern poetic world by displaying her peculiar poetic image with the both sides of poetic contents and form. Her poetic image will be summarized in three parts according to her style of poems. First, she has a good command of a moulding beauty by means of a typographic type, and considers a sound in constructing to a pictorial atmosphere. She also forms an accurate versification, a light rhyme, and various stanzaic structures. The using of poetic diction which is recited complicatedly by a person's name and a place-name makes her poems peculiar characteristic. Through these elements Ire see that her poetic image is identified with her poetic form. Second, Moore suggests that the accurate observation of things be established by tile objective clarify, and always emphasizes the objective clarity as well, though she bears a bit of subjective poetic image. Her emphasis on the objectivity shows us the way of her scientific thought in making poems. Therefore, in poetic image she relates closely to the language, and only pursued the essential facts without considering a by-product. Finally, Moore evolves tier poetic spirit taking advantage of animals, in which she displays her main poetic image. Here she gives us a moral tale, and simultaneously describes human conditions which are matched with those of animals.

        사용자환경정보 기반 Context-based Service 추론모델

        현재의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술은 공간에서 사용자가 요구하는 직접적인 서비스만을 제공하는 정도의 기술 구현에 그치고 있으며, 앞으로는 좀 더 능동적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 지능적인 시스템이 필요해지고 있다. 사용자의 개입 없이 사용자가 처한 상황에 대한 정보를 통해 제공할 서비스를 결정할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하기 위해 본 논문에서는 지능형 홈과 같은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 공간에서의 사용자가 처한 상황에 대한 환경정보를 Context로 정의하고 4W1H의 형태로 정형화하여 수집한다. 추가적으로 사용자의 감정 상태에 대한 정보를 수집하고 이러한 정보들을 확률 추론을 위한 베이지안 네트워크의 노드로 사용하여 사용자가 구체적으로 어떠한 상황에 처해 있는가에 대한 상황인식을 구현하다. 또한 그 상황 인식결과를 통해 사용자에게 제공될 서비스를 다시 한 번 베이지안 네트워크를 통해 추론하는 모델을 제시하고자 한다. The present level of ubiquitous computing technology have developed to the point where Home-server provides services that user require directly for user in the intelligent space. But it will need intelligent system to provides more active services for user in the near future. In this paper, we define the environment information about situation that user is in as Context, and collect the Context that stereotype as 4W1H form for construct the system that can decision service will be provide from information about a situation that user is in, without user's involvement. Additionally we collect information about user's emotional state, use these informations as nodes of Bayesian network for probabilistic reasoning. From that, we materialize Context Awareness system about it that what kind of situation user is in. And, we propose the Context-based Service reasoning model using Bayesian Network from the result of Context Awareness.

        홈 네트워크 응용을 위한 Multi Agent System (MAS) 프레임워크

        홈네트워크 시스템의 본격적인 보급과 함께 가정용서비스 로봇의 최근 연구 성과들은 인간과 지능로봇이 가정에 공존하며 서로 의사소통을 할 수 있는 시대가 가까운 미래에 현실화 될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 한편 가정의 환경적인 특징은 open이기 때문에 그러한 환경에 적응하고 주어진 임무를 수행하는 데는 단일 로봇 또는 단일 홈서버보다는 로봇을 포함하는 홈네트워크 시스템 내의 여러 장치들이 어울려 분산처리를 수행하는 multi-agent 시스템이 일반적으로 더 좋다고 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 홈네트워크 시스템을 가진 가정에서 필요한 agent들을 정의하기 위해 framework 모델을 구축하고 각 agent 간의 통신 protocol architecture를 제시한다. 이를 위해 로봇 또는 홈서버의 단일 지능이나 기능보다는 그 안에 존재하는 복수개의 agent instance들의 집합으로서 agent를 정의하고, 각 agent 내외에서 agent들 사이의 협력 (cooperation)과 타협(negotiation)을 통해 환경과 적응하는 방법 및 사람과 교감(interactive)하는 방법을 제시한다. As home network system begins serving in earnest, the recent fruits of research in home service robot show that the new epoch that human and intelligent robots are living, communicating and interacting together at home, may come true in the near future. In the other hand, it is generally known that the multiagent system, performing distributed process together with other different devices in a home network system, is better than single robot or single home server for adapting themselves to home environment and completing their mission because the characteristic of home environment is 'open'. Therefore, in this paper we suggest the framework model to define agents, which is needed for the home with a home network system, and the communication protocol architecture between agents. For this, we focus our attention on an agent comprising the set of many agent instances rather than the single intelligent or ability of a robot or home server, and also suggest the way of adaptation for agent systems to their environments and interaction with human in the manner of cooperation and negotiation among agents or agent instances in each agent.

        대학생의 이성교제를 통해 경험하는 인식 변화에 관한 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 대학생활 동안 이성 친구와의 교제를 통해 어떠한 인식의 변화를 경험했는지에 대한 내용을 분석하여 의미있는 주제를 파악하기 위함이다. 연구방법은 개인이 경험한 내용을 심층적으로 파악하기 위해 현상학적 분석 방법을 적용한 질적 연구이다. 연구 참여자는 C 대학교 3, 4학년으로 구성되어 있으며 이성 친구를 사귀어본 경험이 있는 대상자 중 자발적으로 연구 참여에 동의하는 자 18명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하여 최종 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과에서는 이성 간의 교제를 통해 경험한 내용이 5개의 주제로 ‘남녀역할에 대한 인식 변화’, ‘의사소통의 영역 이해’, ‘갈등 해결 능력의 강화’, ‘감정조절 행동 변화’, ‘인격의 성숙’ 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 나타난 대학생 시기의 이성교제의 경험은 다양한 긍정적 의미와 강점을 포함하고 있으며 이러한 경험은 추후 개인의 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 기회이고, 이러한 경험을 통해 강화된 능력은 사회생활의 적응과정에서 강점으로 적용될 수 있다고 파악된다. 이에 본 연구의 결과는 대학생 시기에 이성과 의 친밀한 관계는 개인의 삶에 긍정적 결과를 가져올 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 영역에서의 역량이 개발 될 수 있다는 이론적 근거를 제시하고자 하는데 그 의의가 있다. This study was conducted to evaluate changes in self-awareness in response to dating members of the opposite sex among college students. The point of view of college students who have experienced the dating, it has put the purpose of clarifying the nature of the change in the strength and self-awareness. To accomplish this, interviews of 18 people who met the study criteria were conducted. This study was a qualitative investigation. Respondents were placed in one of five categories: "change in perception of role", "understanding of communication skills", "strengthened coping ability", "behavioral change in emotion regulation", or "awareness of self- maturity". Changes in perceptions experienced by college students through dating were shown to improve the quality of college students" future life and applied in the strength to adapt to social life. Therefore, the significance of this study was discovered a positive outcome in the individuals" life, trying to present the grounds that to strengthen the various regions.

        내독소성 토끼에서 다불활성기체 제거법을 이용한 환기-관류비의 측정

        Background: Endotoxin is a complex lipopolysaccharide molecule situated within the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria. Sepsis and acute respiratory failure (ARDS) can be induced by endotoxin. In order to introduce and develop the experimental model of ARDS in sepsis, we induced sepsis with the endotoxin and investigated the change of respiratory pathophysiology during sepsis using a multiple inert gas elimination technique (MIGET). Methods: Ten New Zealand white rabbites were anesthetized and ventilated with a Harvard apparatus. In 5 rabbits, 2 mg/kg of lipopolysaccaride from E, coli was infused intravenously for 30 min (Toxin group). At 1, 2, 3 and 4 hours after endotoxin infusion, arterial blood gas, and hemodynamic profiles were checked. To perform the MIGET, six inert gases (SF_6 krypton, desflurane, enflurane, diethyl ether, acetone) of widely varying solubility were infused peripherally and the excretion and retention data was determined from measurements of inert gas tensions in pulmonary arterial, systemic arterial blood samples and mixed expiratory gas sampling of pre and post septicemia using gas chromatography. We transformed and analysed the data into a V/Q distribution curve to find out the change of V/Q distribution curve. After the experiments, the animals were dissected and the hungs were extracted for wet/dry weight ratio (WW/DW) and microscopic examination. Results: In the Toxin group, the pulmonary arterial pressures were increased and arterial oxygen tensions were decreased after the endotoxin infusion. The lung WW/DW were increased and inflammatory finding were seen in microscopic examination. In the MIGET, shunt, deadspace and log SDQ were increased in the tozin group, though there were wide V/Q distributions in the control group. Conclusions: We developed a successful endotoxin induced septic animal model, V/Q distribution curve and data using MIGET. The accomplishment of the experiment will not only allow us to better understand pulmonary pathophysiology of endotoxin induced sepsis using MIGET, but it will also contribute to other pulmonary physiology experiments associated with sepsis.

      • Analysis of Genetic Diversity and Evaluation of Phenotypic Traits in Chrysanthemums

        Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is one of the most popular ornamental species in the world due to the great diversity of inflorescence form and color. There has been increasing demands for various types of chrysanthemums, such as cut flowers, potted plants and bedding plants. However, the genomic studies of this species have been not extensively conducted relative to other ornamental species due to high levels of polyploidy (2n = 4x =36 or 2n = 6x = 54) and heterozygosity as well as large genome size. In this work, we developed a molecular tool for cultivar identification using simple sequence repeats (SSRs) and investigated genetic diversity in 127 chrysanthemum cultivars. Of the 150 SSR primer pairs tested in this study, 62 primers were obtained from previous studies, while 88 primers were designed using the unigene sequences of C. nankingense and the Expressed Sequence Tag (EST) sequences of C. morifolium in the NCBI database. Thirty SSR primers were selected based on polymorphism and banding patterns in a subset of 8 cultivars and used to amplify the DNA of 127 chrysanthemum cultivars. The UPGMA dendrogram based on these 30 SSR markers showed that most of chrysanthemum cultivars were divided into five clusters. These results will benefit chrysanthemum research community to develop elite cultivars.

        십이경근(十二經筋)과 근육(筋肉)과의 관계(關係)에 대한 연구

        The Oriental Medicine is described with so many terms of its own theory causing misunderstand of the concept which is expressed with same term used in modern medicine. Muscular system is also used in the both medicines, the Oriental Medicine and modern medicine. For the purpose of resolving the misunderstand of using the medical terms, we referred to a large number of literature for the muscular system in both medicine. Although there are few references concerning about systematic components in the Oriental Medicine, among the concepts of the Oriental Medicine, there are comparatively many approaches to the Meridian muscular system, a muscular system related with the Meridian, Therefore, there are many similarities and differences in the interrelation between the muscular system which was stated at the time of the concept of the Meridian system was developed and anatomical muscular system in the modern medicine. As a result of survey the references, we found out that anatomical muscular system is limited to visual compartments, whereas the Meridian muscular system is covering not only visual components but also the relation with internal organs. We conclude that there are conceptual differences in the kyung-keun system in the past and anatomical muscular system in the present.
