At the study on reasonable power and capacity I the utilization of the tractor, the properly sized power tractor and the tractor-utilization-system in accordance with the variously sized cultivating scale are as follows; 1. The tractor working system of the traditional cultivation by an ox(the plowing depth is 12cm or 13cm) 2. Tehe tractor working system for increased yield through deep plowing (the plowing depth is beween 15㎝ and 20㎝); 1) A farm land of 1 ha or 2 ha needs tractor powering between 3 P.S and 5 P.S. 2) A farm land of 2 ha or 3 ha needs tractor powering between 5 P.S and 7 P.S. 3) A farm land of 3 ha or 4 ha needs tractor powering between 7 P.S and 10 P.S. 4) A farm land of 5 ha or 6 ha needs tractor powering between 12 P.S and 15 P.S. 2. The tractor working system is more efficient when cultivating scale is about 5 ha, because deep-plowing requires at least a medium size tractor more than 15 P.S. 3. The tractor working system for increased yield or for the new reclaimed land requiring the deep plowing more than 20cm; 1) In this case, tractor working system is more efficient when cultivating scale is 4 ha or so and more because of requiring a tractor more than 20 P.S.
機械設計工學敎育科 敎科課程改善에 관한 硏究 : 機械製圖를 中心으로 With emphasis on the curriculum of the mechanical drawing

This investigation aims at identifying some problems encountered with the mechanical drawing education in the Department of Mechanical Design Engineering of the College of Ind. Educ, and suggesting solutions to the problems associated. The study is based on the analysis of the mechanical drawing program and text materials currently applied to the department. The following recommendations are made; 1) Drawing theory and basic related theory should be more emphasized than before. 2) A systematic approach is recommended in the curriculum process. a) Teaching program should be revised taking into account the student level. b) Training level and subject should be adjusted. c) Job sheets and text-books for drawing exercise should be developed. d) Effective evaluation method should be established. e) The audio-visual media, e.g, OHP and section model should be actively utilized. f) Teaching assistants are required in drawing classes. 3) It takes at least 400 hours to educate the mechanical drawing satisfactorily.
영흥도에서 분리된 Phaeodactylum tricornutum의 증식 및 Monounsaturated fatty acid 관련 지방산 조성 분석

Oxidation stability and cold fuid property are considered as the most important factors for determining biodiesel quality. Among the fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acid satisfy both oxidation stability and cold flow property of biodiesel quality standards. Microalgae with high monounsaturated fatty acid contents is have some benefit for producing to produce biodiesels with satisfying quality standards. In this study, monounsaturated fatty acid contents of a isolated microalga from Youngheung island was analyzed. Phaeodactylum tricornutum was isolated by streaking, and growth rate and fatty acid composition of the algae were investigated. Total FAME contents were consisted of 26% of saturated fatty acids, 43% of monounsaturated fatty acids, and 18% of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The contents of monounsaturated fatty acid were especially high in the Phaeodactylum species. This result implies that the FAMEs from P. tricornutum may contribute to improve the oxidation stability and cold flow property of biodiesel.
