본 논문에서는 투수성 포장 하부구조의 지반에 지오셀 보강에 따른 거동특성을 다루었다. 지오셀을 이용한 포장구조체의 하중지지력 증가효과를 고찰하기 위하여 지오셀 결합부의 유형, 벽 두께, 직경을 변화시켜가며 총 9가지의 실험 케이스의 실내 축소모형실험을 진행하여 무보강 투수성 포장에 비해 지오셀로 보강된 포장 하부구조에서 더 큰 지지력이 발현 되는 것으로 나타났고 지오셀의 단면 형태의 관계 없이 거의 일정한 하중 지지력을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지오셀 속채움시 지오셀의 형상은 직경 30cm, 두께 1.8mm에서 가장 지지 효과가 크게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. This paper presents the results of a laboratory investigation of the porous pavement substructure effect when reinforced with geocell. In order to analyze load carrying capacity of Geocell, a series of 9 reduced-scale laboratory tests was performed, changing the type, thickness, diameter of Geocell. The results of the analyses indicated that the bearing capacity of the reinforced Geocell increases much more than the non-reinforced Geocell and load carrying capacity was considered to be insignificant according to the type of Geocell. It was also found that the most supportive effects appeared as 30 cm in diameter and 1.8mm in thickness.

LED 조명을 홈네트워킹에 적용하기 위해서는 홈게이트웨이와 LED 조명 사이에서 신호를 전송하는 전력선통신이 필요하며, 양방향 전송을 위한 적절한 통신방식이 요구된다. 또한 한 개의 LED 조명을 이용해서 여러 가입자를 서비스하기 위해서는 LED의 특성에 맞는 적절한 다중화방식이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 전력선통신과 가시광통신을 결합함으로써 빌딩 내부 넓은 범위를 서비스할 수 있는 홈네트워킹 시스템을 제안하고 테스트베드를 이용하여 성능을 시험하였다. 이때 가시광통신의 다중화에는 LED 비선형성을 극복하기에 적절한 Binary CDMA 방식을 이용하였으며, 역방향 전송에는 적외선을 이용하였다. If LED lighting is to be used in home networking, a home gateway and power line communication are needed in delivering data. In addition, an appropriate multiple access scheme reflecting LED’s property is required. In this paper, a home networking system that can serve wide in-building area by integrating PLC and VLC, is proposed and implemented, then its performance is measured. A binary CDMA is used in the multiple access since this scheme is good for nonlinear device like LED, while infrared is used in the upstream transmission.
A study on coalbed methane gas contents estimation of the coal mine in Mongolia

This study presents both theoretical and experimental calculations for the amount of desorbed gas, lost gas, and residual gas from the coal core and gas composition analysis in order to measure the coalbed methane content of the studied coal mine in Mongolia. Three wells (1, 2, and 3) were studied, and the results from well 3 were analyzed. The amount of desorbed gas was measured to be 6.740 scf/ton in sample 7. The amount of lost gas was calculated using the direct method and the maximum amount calculated from sample 1 was 0.986 scf/ton. After crushing the sample to ,60 mesh and measuring four samples, the average crushing rate was approximately 71% and no residual gas was detected. Gas composition analysis showed that although methane gas was detected in almost all samples, the amount was only 1.17% in average, whereas nitrogen was detected with an average of 85.29% and with a small amount of carbon dioxide.
Rapid discriminative detection of dengue viruses via loop mediated isothermal amplification

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Dengue virus (DENV) is one of the life-threatening viruses to the human. In this study, we have designed specific novel primers for rapid discriminative detection of DENV-1, DENV-2, and DENV-4 by real-time reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) reaction. The effect of parameters such as reaction temperature and magnesium sulfate was investigated on the RT-LAMP reaction for detection of DENV RNA. Under the optimal conditions, this method is able to differentiate and to detect DENV within 25 min, exhibiting detection limit of 3.5 copies/μL. Importantly, the novel specific primers-based RT-LAMP assay did not react with other viruses, suggesting the selectivity of the method towards DENV RNA. The RT-LAMP reaction products are easily visualized with naked-eye when irradiated them under UV light at 365 nm. Amplification products could be visualized directly for color changes. This method provides a facile, and accurate molecular amplication technique for the rapid discriminative detection of dengue viruses.
