<P>In recent years, techniques such as multiple input multiple output (MIMO) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) have been developed and combined in MIMO-OFDM systems to provide higher data rates. In addition, the system can be optimized by setting modulation and coding adaptively according to the channel conditions. The overall system performance depends on how accurately the system obtains the channel state information (CSI) and feeds it back to the transmitter. In this paper, we propose a signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) estimation algorithm in which the preamble is known by both sides of the transceiver. Through simulations of several channel environments, we prove that our proposed algorithm is more accurate than traditional algorithms.</P>

This paper proposes the method to extract new feature vectors using the difference between the cepstrum for static characteristics and delta cepstrum for dynamic characteristics in speaker recognition (SR). The difference vector (DV) which it proposes from this paper is containing the static and the dynamic characteristics simultaneously at the intermediate characteristic vector which uses the deference between the static and the dynamic characteristics and as the characteristic vector which is new there is a possibility of doing. Compared to the conventional method, the proposed method can achieve new feature vector without increasing of new parameter, but only need the calculation process for the difference between the cepstrum and delta cepstrum. Experimental results show that the proposed method has a good performance more than 2.03%, on average, compared with conventional method in speaker identification (SI).
장소형성요소로 본 인천광역시 유휴공장 재생 방안 사례 연구

(연구배경 및 목적) 과거 산업 발전의 주역이었던 공장들이 유휴 상태로 전환되면서 용도의 변경을 통해 도시 공간과 지역 사회 재활성화에 주요한 역할을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 유휴공장이 지역 재생을 위한 거점으로 전환되는 과정에서 고려할 수 있는 장소 개념을 도입한 시사점을 도출하고자 함에 있다. 이를 위해 인천광역시 유휴공장 중 재생된 3곳과 아직 유휴 상태를 유지하고 있는 3곳, 총 6곳의 대상지를 선정하였고, 재생된 3곳(주안철강공장, 조양방직공장, 코스모화학공장)을 대상으로 장소형성 요소가 도입된 방식을 조사하였다. (연구방법) 장소 형성 요소는 선행연구의 문헌 고찰을 통해 공간환경요소와 활용요소, 의미요소로 분류하였다. 공간환경 요소는 주변 입지와 교통과 같은 광역적 맥락과 공장 구조물의 미시적 맥락으로 구분하였으며, 활용 요소는 인간의 점유를 의미하며 프로그램을 설정하였다. 이러한 요소들이 리모델링된 3개의 공장에서 나타난 방식을 분석하였다. (결과) 인천광역시 내에 재생된 유휴공장들은 광역적 공간환경 요소들을 볼 때, 교통접근성이 양호한 공장단지에 위치해 있다는 점에서 공통점을 갖지만, 실질적으로 공장과 함께 있는 주거지와 문화적으로 연계될 수 있는 주변 시설들의 성격에 있어서 차이를 보인다. 미시적 공간환경 요소에서는 기존의 공장 구조물이 갖고 있는 물적 특성을 최대한 보존하면서, 개조된 부분을 이와 대조시키려는 전략, 활용 요소에서는 카페와 전시라는 문화 상업시설이 공통적으로 드러난다. (결론) 다양한 장소 요소들은 상호관계를 통해 고유성을 부여한다. 현재 공장의 구조물을 최대한 보존하려는 전략과 균질한 문화 상업공간은 서로 다른 광역적 맥락을 갖는 3개의 유휴 공간에 어느 정도 균질성을 만들어내고 있다. 이들은 매우 매력적인 공간으로서 활발하게 이용되고 있지만, 광역적 맥락의 공간환경 요소가 더욱 적극적으로 개입할 때 이 지역의 재생을 이끄는 거점이 될 수 있을 것이다. (Background and Purpose) As factories have been converted into idle buildings, they have begun to play a major role in the revitalization of urban space. The purpose of this study is to derive implications that can be considered in the process of idle factories become a base for regeneration with the Idea of the place. There are 6 sites of idle factories which were 3 regenerated and 3 remained, and the study analyzed 3 regenerated sites. In conclusion, this analysis confirmed the implications for future focus. (Method) The determinant factors of the place are set up in the classification of the physical environment, utilization, and sense by re-extracting the factors through literature review in the field such as place marketing and placemaking based on the theoretical definition of the place. The physical environment was divided into a broad context such as surrounding location and traffic infrastructure and the micro context of factory structures. The utilization is a program that includes the meaning formed from human/cultural factors and the interaction between space and human beings. Finally applied these factors to regenerated idle factories and identified characteristics of those places. (Results) The idle factories regenerated in Incheon Metropolitan City have commonalities in that they are located in the factory area with good traffic accessibility when they look at the wide-area physical environment, but there is a difference in the characteristics of the surrounding facilities that can be culturally linked to the residential area with the idle factories. In a factory structures environment factors, 3 sites have a common condition which as preserving the existing structures or facilities and make a contrast with new materials of an extension and modification part. In the activity factors, a program of the idle factories is converted to cultural commercial facilities such as cafes and exhibitions. That makes commonalities of regeneration result and interaction with the surrounding context to be weak. (Conclusions) The determinant factors of place give uniqueness through mutual relations. Currently, the strategy to preserve the structure of the factory as much as possible and a converted program like a cultural commercial space create some homogeneity in three idle spaces with different broad contexts. Although they are actively used as very attractive spaces, There is a weakness in identity from other regenerated factories. If they using physical environment factors of the broader context more actively, they could be an anchor facility for the regeneration of this area.
