박상현 ( Park¸ Sanghyun ),곽민석 ( Kwag¸ Minseok ) 한국체육학회 2021 한국체육학회지 Vol.60 No.1
The main purpose of this study is to provide meaningful and insightful information regarding the existence of shared leadership in sports teams as revealing that the leaders of sports teams are selected within the social relationship among team members. To achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted on 44 athletes of two university soccer teams which located in Seoul. After finishing data collection, each team’s leadership network was described and the densities of each leadership networks(task leadership, motivational leadership, social leadership and external leadership) were calculated by using UCINET and Netdraw. Next, QAP analysis was performed to extract correlation coefficients among each networks. Lastly, case study was performed to discuss the characteristics of two teams. As a result, the existence of shared leadership was found because some unofficial leaders who are not captain of team selected by the team members. To be specific, each leadership networks were not concentrated on a particular node and the range of density of each leadership network was from .104 to .342. Furthermore, The result of QAP analysis also revealed little bit low correlation coefficients between the four types of leadership networks. It could be considered as empirical evidence of the existence of shared leadership.

Abstract

Negative capacitance (NC) phenomena is recently suggested as a breakthrough that can lead to the improved transistor by decreasing the subthreshold swing. To understand the NC phenomena, we investigated the effects of the ferroelectric properties such as the remnant polarization depending on the switching cycles in Si-doped HfO2 thin film capacitor. The ferroelectric properties were controlled by using the wake-up effect, in which the remnant polarization enhances as the number of switching cycles increase. The relation between the wake-up effect and the voltage drop region with the negative differential capacitance were elucidated. The dynamic hysteresis loops were fitted based on Landau-Khalatnikov equation, and the free energy as a function of polarization was obtained. The Landau coefficients showed that the double-well feature of the free energy becomes more apparent due to the wake-up. Based on the wake-up effect on NC phenomena, we show that the NC phenomena is well described by Landau-Ginzburg theory of ferroelectrics.

Highlights

Relation between negative capacitance and ferroelectric properties explained based on Landau theory.

Wake-up effects explained based on Landau theory.

Effective control of ferroelectric properties using wake-up effect.

We propose a marine observation system using existing light buoys to observe various marine information of marine locations. Our proposed ocean observation system is composed of the existing standard light buoy type and can be easily connected to the light buoy. The proposed marine observation system measures the mean wave height, maximum wave height, mean wave height and water temperature measured in the ocean. Besides, it can measure the air pressure, temperature, wind speed and wind speed in real time. In order to measure important peaks in marine observations, 2200 peak data are collected for 10 minutes, and the collected data are subjected to spectral analysis to extract significant wave and wave period data. The developed system removes the noise by using the filter because the marine observation system attaches to the light buoy. We compare and analyze the measurement data of the existing proven floating marine observation system and the standard equivalent system developed. Also, it is proved that the data of the standard type backbone ocean observation system developed through the comparative experiment is similar to that of the existing ocean observation system.

Fusarium head blight (FHB) caused by Fusarium species is a major disease of wheat and barley around the world. FHB causes yield reductions and contamination of grains with trichothecene mycotoxins including; nivalenol (NIV), deoxynivalenol (DON), 3-cetyldeoxynivalenol (3-ADON), and 15-acetyldeoxynivalenol (15-ADON). The objectives of this study were to identify strains of F. graminearum isolated in Korea from 2012-harvested wheat grain and to test the pathogenicity of these NIV- and DON-producing isolates. Three hundred and four samples of wheat grain, harvested in 2012 in Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gyeongnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, and Gangwon provinces were collected. We recovered 44 isolates from the 304 samples, based on the PCR amplification of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) rRNA region and sequencing. Our findings indicate that F. asiaticum was the predominant (95% of all isolates) species in Korea. We recovered both F. asiaticum and F. graminearum from samples collected in Chungnam province. Of the 44 isolates recovered, 36 isolates had a NIV genotype while 8 isolates belonged to the DON genotype (3-ADON and 15-ADON). In order to characterize the pathogenicity of the strains collected, disease severity was assessed visually on various greenhouse-grown wheat cultivars inoculated using both NIV- and DON-producing isolates. Our results suggest that Korean F. graminearum isolates from wheat belong to F. asiaticum producing NIV, and both F. graminearum and F. asiaticum are not significantly different on virulence in wheat cultivars.
Effect of oral antioxidants on the progression of canine senile cataracts: a retrospective study
Park, Sanghyun,Kang, Seonmi,Yoo, Sukjong,Park, Youngwoo,Seo, Kangmoon The Korean Society of Veterinary Science 2022 Journal of Veterinary Science Vol.23 No.3
Background: Cataracts are the leading cause of impaired vision or blindness in dogs. There are many antioxidants that can prevent cataract progression, but whether they are clinically effective in dogs has not been established. Objectives: To analyze the delaying or preventing effect of oral antioxidants on canine senile cataracts through retrospective analysis. Methods: Medical records of dogs from January 1, 2015 to July 10, 2020 were reviewed. Dogs that were 8 yr of age or older with senile cataracts were included in this study. The dogs were divided into two treatment groups (dogs administered with Ocu-GLO supplement and dogs administered with Meni-One Eye R/C supplement) and a control group (dogs that were not administered any supplement). Dogs with incipient and immature cataracts were included in this study. Altogether, 112 dogs (156 eyes) with incipient cataracts and 60 dogs (77 eyes) with immature cataracts were included. The period of time that cataracts progressed from incipient to immature, and from immature to mature was recorded for each dog. Results: There was no significant delaying effect on the progression of incipient cataracts. However, both Ocu-GLO (hazard ratio = 0.265, p = 0.026) and Meni-One (hazard ratio = 0.246, p = 0.005) significantly delayed the progression of immature cataracts compared to the control group. Conclusions: Although there was no significant delaying effect of oral antioxidants on incipient cataract progression, antioxidants could be used to delay the progression of senile immature cataract.
A Floorprint-Based Defect Tolerance for Nano-Scale Application-Specific IC
Sanghyun Ahn,Patitz, Z.,Noh-Jin Park,Hyoung Joong Kim,Park, N. IEEE 2009 IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measureme Vol.58 No.5

A floorprint-based yield modeling, assurance and optimization method for the defect tolerant NASIC system under broken nanowire (NW) defects has been proposed in a short version of this paper, and the proposed models and methods are further validated and demonstrated through extensive parametric simulations in this paper. A yield model for each defect tolerant NASIC technique is developed based on the nature of the defects of concern in a floorprint-based analysis, thereby establishing an adequate foundation to evaluate and optimize the manufacturing process and defect tolerance by providing a capability to take into account the effect of each individual defect tolerance technique or synergetic effect of various combinations of the techniques on the overall expected yield of the product. According to the simulation results given in this paper, the defect tolerant NASIC system with 15 row and column NWs, respectively, each with length = 0.000034 on horizontal and vertical core nanoarray in a nanotile can achieve a yield higher than 99.8%. Ultimately, intelligent exploitation of the proposed yield modeling and simulation methods will make possible to realize a reliable NASIC-based computing system.
