Perioperative cerebral infarction is rare but may be fatal. This is a case report of acute cerebral infarction following general anesthesia in geriatric patient. A 72 year old female patient was admitted for transabdominal hysterectomy and bilateral saipingooophorectomy and pelvic lymphnode dissection. Preanesthetic assessment revealed a history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. After surgery, she was alert but she gradually appeared to have right hemiparesis and confusion. Emergency CT brain scan showed early cerebral infarction in the middle cerebral artery territory. She was transferred to the depart ment of neurology and received treatment. She was discharged at 19 days after surgery with improved symptoms.

Palgongsan granite considered to be a rapid cooling shallow-level intrusion, exhibits textural and mineralogical changes from margin toward core. In petrochemistry it is characteristic of I-type granitoid representing calc-alkaline differentiation trend, which is discriminated active continental arc granitoid in tectonomagmatic environment. In Q-Ab-Or-An system norm compositions of the Palgongsan granite are plotted near low-temperature trough, and concentrated on the minimum melt curve (700℃). Palgongsan granite intruded and metamorphosed sedimentary rocks to hornfelses forming contact metamorphic aureoles (average 1.5 km width). Contact aureoles are divided into inner and outer zone, which are respectively biotite and chlorite zone, indicating albite-epidote hornfels facies. The mineral assemblages are chlorite-muscovite in chlorite zone and biotite-muscovite(-chlorite), epidote-chlorite, actinolite-chlorite and actinolite -epidote-chlorite in biotite zone. Metamorphic temperature is as low as to be estimated about 350℃ in chlorite zone and 400℃ or higher in biotite zone.

여대생의 다이어트 행동과 심리적 변인들과의 관계 : 신체 불만족, 자존감, 섭식태도를 중심으로

본 연구는 여대생의 다이어트 행동 및 심리적 변인간의 관계를 알아보려는 것이다. 이를 위해 가톨릭대학교 여학생 441명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여대생들의 다이어트 행동을 다각적인 면에서 살펴보는 것이다. 둘째, 다이어트 행동과 신체불만족 및 자존감의 관계를 탐색한다. 셋째, 다이어트의 극단성과 섭식장애의 관계를 당색한다. 이를 위해 다이어트 행동에 관한 설문지와 신체불만족 척도, 자존감 척도, 그리고 식사태도검사가 사용되었다. 먼저 다이어트 행동양상의 조사에서 전체 조사대상의 54 .4%가 다이어트를 하였으며, 다이어트집단 중 90.7% 는 다이어트가 불필요한 저체중자와 표준체중자였다. 또한 다이어트 집단 중 70 .4%가 무리한 다이어트를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 다이어트의 이유에 대해서는 주로 날씬함과 아름다움의 추구 및 옷맵시 등의 이유가 대부분이었으며, 다이어트 방법에서도 98% 가 식사조절을 사용하였는데 그 방법은 대개 끼니거르기, 절식 등의 무리한 방법이었다. 다이아트 결과에 대한 응답에서는 감량된 체중이 1개월 이상 지속되지 못하는 경우가 45.4%였고, 응답자의 41.9% 가 폭식의 식습관 형성을 다이어트의 부작용으로 보고하였다. 다이어트와 심리적 변인과의 관계에서는 먼저, 높은 신체불만족수준과 낮은 자존감수준은 다이어트 행동을 유발하며, 신체불만족이 높을수록 다이어트는 극단적으로 나타나는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 식사 태도와의 관계에서, 다이어트를 극단적으로 하는 사람은 폭식이나 절식의 식습관으로 이어질 수 있으며 또한 섭식장애로 발전될 가능성이 있었다. 이 연구는 여대생들의 다이어트 행동의 심각성을 지적하며 이로 인한 섭식태도의 문제점 및 섭식장애 가능성을 살펴본데 의의가 있으며, 섭식장애 예방을 위한 올바른 다이어트 행동의 지도를 제안한다.

The need for reliable products and reliability analysis became apparent in the age of customer satisfaction. To make products most attractive, first of all, customer complaints on current products must be gathered and analyzed. This article shows a case on the development of a reliability analysis system based on field data. Field data takes the form of A/S(After Sales Support) data. The characteristics of A/S data prohibit the exact calculation of theoretical reliability because of unavailibility of operating time and conditions. In this system, a reliability model was built by use of calendar time and field operating conditions. To estimate the reliability of products or failure modes, empirical distributions based on actuarial method were used and true distribution function could be fitted. And many functions needed to analyse reliability related data were implemented on personal computer via system analysis and design techniques.

Also, approximation formulas of noncentral x'²can be represented by expansion method. The calculation of noncentral x'²is complicated when the degree of freedom is decimal point number. In this paper, we have attempted the numerical comparison of percentile points of the noncentral x'²with the correction term.

We propose the control chart to provide a more comprehensive scheme for detecting process mean shifts. In this papers, using the backpropagation, five samples are fed into the trained neural network to provide outputs ranging from -1 to 1. The main advantage of using neural network with control chart is that the neural network has almost no delay in detecting small and systematic patterns in the mean. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed control chart using the neural network is quite promising.

The usal practice in using a control chart to monitor a process is to take samples of size n from the process every h hours, this article considers the properties of the double sampling ?? chartc when of each sampl depends on what is observed in the proceeding sample. This procedure offer better than statistical efficiency than the Shewhart ?? chart.
