HID LAMP 驅動을 위한 類似共振形 INVERTER에 관한 硏究
金光一,裵相俊 慶一大學校 1992 論文集 Vol.8 No.1
The cricuit of QRI(Quasi-Resonant Inverter) which is able to regulate frequency in the output voltage by the ZVS(Zero Volt Switching) was investigated. We found parameters in the circuit of QRI so that they have application to the HID(High Intensity Discharge) Lamp drive. Then we simulated that by personal computer and summarized the result of simulation.
Corynebacterium hofmannii에 依한 전신감염 1예
문대혁,최강원,박석건,이광호 대한감염학회 1984 감염 Vol.16 No.1
Corynebacterium of hoffmannii is a part of normal pharyngeal flora. Human infection caused by C. hofmannii is very rare. All reported cases involve prosthetic or native cardiac valve. This patient sufered from chronic alcohlism, diabetes mellitus, and acute suppurative inflammation of brain, meninges and soft tissue. And he failed to show any clinical response to various antimicrobial therapy and died after discharge.

The current study was aimed to investigate the structural relationships among educational service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Data were drawn from 234 students in three different universities. PASW 18.0 for windows and AMOS 20.0 program were used for data processing. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling techniques. The results were as follows. First, educational service quality had a positive effect on satisfaction. Second, educational service quality did not affect loyalty. Third, satisfaction had a positive effect on loyalty. Lastly, satisfaction fully mediated the relationship between educational service quality and loyalty.
Optimal combined scheduling of generation and demand response with demand resource constraints
Kwag, Hyung-Geun,Kim, Jin-O Elsevier 2012 APPLIED ENERGY Vol.96 No.-
<P><B>Highlights</B></P><P>► Modeling of customer information to represent customer response characteristics. ► New concept of virtual generation resources to express the amount of demand response. ► Determine the optimal combined scheduling of generation demand response. ► Equivalent marginal cost function to express virtual generation resources. ► Demand response and generation constraints in a demand response program.</P> <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Demand response (DR) extends customer participation to power systems and results in a paradigm shift from simplex to interactive operation in power systems due to the advancement of smart grid technology. Therefore, it is important to model the customer characteristics in DR. This paper proposes customer information as the registration and participation information of DR, thus providing indices for evaluating customer response, such as DR magnitude, duration, frequency and marginal cost. The customer response characteristics are modeled from this information. This paper also introduces the new concept of virtual generation resources, whose marginal costs are calculated in the same manner as conventional generation marginal costs, according to customer information. Finally, some of the DR constraints are manipulated and expressed using the information modeled in this paper with various status flags. Optimal scheduling, combined with generation and DR, is proposed by minimizing the system operation cost, including generation and DR costs, with the generation and DR constraints developed in this paper.</P>
Phosphatase Activity in Cheonho Reservoir
Kwag, No-Tae,Son, Jae-Hak,Lee, Jeong-Sub,Ahn, Tae-Young The Microbiological Society of Korea 1995 The journal of microbiology Vol.33 No.4
Phosphatase activity was measured with other environmental factors in Cheonho reservoir in 1994. It ranged form 95 to 1,685 nM/1/h and was correlated significantly with chlorophyll-a. Such a close relation well matched the fact that over 90% of phosphatase activity was detected in > 3 $\mu\textrm{m}$ fraction. The phosphatase activity also correlated negatively with dissolved inorganic phosphate concentration, which implies derepression of phosphatase production by phosphate limitation. Significant correlation was analyzed between phosphatase activity and BOD, which also appeared to be closely correlated with chlorophyll-a. A great percentage of organic materials seems to be generated autochthonously by algae and extracellular enzyme even though allochthonous influence was thought to be stronger in Cheonho reservoir.
Self-Assembled and Alternative Porphyrin-Phthalocyanine Array
Kwag, Gwang-Hoon,Park, Eun-Joo,Kim, Sung-Hyun Korean Chemical Society 2004 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.25 No.2
An alternative molecular porphyrin-phthalocyanine aggregate was prepared and characterized with UV-visible and X-ray absorption spectroscopies. UV-visible experiments evidence 1-dimensional porphyrin-phthalo-cyanine array formed by mixing $SnTPPCl_2 ({\lambda}_{max}=429,\;{\varepsilon}=2.4{\times10^ 5 /M{\cdot}cm)\;and\;NiPc(OBu)_8({\lambda}_{max}=744 nm,\;{\varepsilon}= 2.0{\times}10^ 5 /M{\cdot}cm)$ in solution. In the UV-visible spectrum of the porphyrin-phthalocyanine array, $(SnPNiPc)_n$, a new Q-band appeared at 844 nm with decrease of the Q-band peak of $NiPc(OBu)_8$ at 744 nm. The red-shift of Q-band evidences an alternative porphyrin-phthalocyanine array formed in solution through metal-halide interaction rather than ${\pi}-{\pi}$ facial interaction, in which nickel of $NiPc(OBu)_8$ coordinates with chloride of $SnTPPCl_2$ through self assembly. Ni K-edge XANES (X-ray absorption near edge structure) spectra also support the axial ligation of nickel to chloride. The square planar structure of $NiPc(OBu)_8$ turns to an octahedral structure in (SnPNiPcSnP) by axial ligation. A higher energy-shift (0.2 eV) of the preedge peak of (SnPNiPcSnP) indicaties partial oxidation of nickel by charge transfer from NiPc$(OBu)_8$ to SnTPPCl$_2$.
Facile synthesis of partially uncapped liposomes

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Sophisticated control of the assembly of nano-sized structures to achieve desired properties is one of the most efficient techniques in drug carrier design. In this study, we hypothesized that under magnetic shear stress, high-density superparamagnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles dispersed in a liposome would apply a high load in a particular direction to a liposome membrane and ultimately generate open lipid bilayer holes. Indeed, the designed experimental conditions enabled the formation of one or multiple open pore sites in liposome membranes. With this evidence, open lipid bilayer holes in liposome membranes were further used as open entrances for proteins (bovine serum albumin or insulin) into the liposomes prior to the natural recovery (<I>i.e.</I>, closing) of the lipid bilayer holes. This trial will provide potential opportunities for the engineering of functional liposomes for protein drug delivery.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> We developed a new fabrication method for partially uncapped liposomes using Fe3O4 nanoparticles. </LI> <LI> Under magnetic shear stress, Fe3O4 nanoparticles dispersed in a liposome ultimately generated open lipid bilayer holes. </LI> <LI> This method is simple and safe for biomedical and cosmetic application. </LI> </UL> </P>
