ZSM-5 제올라이트 촉매의 고체산 특성을 암모니아 승온 탈착법과 적외선 분광법에 의하여 조사하였다. HZSM-5의 암모니아 승온 탈착 곡선에는 α, β, γ의 세가지 상태가 나타나는데, γ-상태의 양은 실리카/알루미나 비가 클 수록 그리고 알칼리금속의 양이온 교환에 의하여 감소됨을 알았다. ZSM-5에 흡착시킨 피리딘의 적외선 흡수스펙트럼과 톨루엔의 알킬화반응으로부터 γ-상태는 Si-OH-Al의 수산기 즉 브뢴스테드산점에 기인하며 산촉매반응의 활성점으로 작용하는 것을 알았다. 또 알칼리양이온 교환시킨 ZSM-5의 암모니아, 피리딘 등의 염기와의 상호작용의 세기는 양이온 크기가 작아질수록 증가함을 알 수 있었다. Acidic properties of ZSM-5 zeolite catalysts were investigated by temperature-progarmmed desorption technique and ir spectroscopy. Ammonia t.p.d. pattern of HZSM-5 showed three different states, designated as α, β, and γ. The amount of γ-state decreased with increasing SiO_2/Al_2O_3 ratio, and upon cation-exchanging with alkali cations. from the ir absorption spectra of adsorbed pyridine and the reaction study of toluene alkylation, the γ-state could be explained to be due to the strong Bronsted acid sited of H-ZSM-5. Also they showed that the interaction between alkali cation-exchanged ZSM-5 and bases, i.e. NH_3 and pyridine, was increasing with decreasing the size of cations.

Objectives: In the acupuncture treatment of Korean Medicine, the Tonifying or Purging depending on how many times the needle is rotated has been used widely. However, there is little evidence about the optimal number of rotation. This study, therefore, was aimed to investigate the optimal number of rotation. Methods: Heart rate variation was measured before and after exercise in 20 healthy adults. Acupuncture was performed at PC6 immediately after exercise according to the protocol of each group without remaining. Pre-exercise and post-exercise measurements were compared and the rotation number that produced statistically significant difference was investigated. Results: Significant differences were found in the heart rate variation and R-R interval Average, between non-rotation group (control) and both of 15 times rotation group of tonifying and 6 times rotation group of purging. Conclusions: Significantly effective number of rotation in the effect of PC6 on the HR and RRAv was 15 times in the tonifying and 6 in the purging respectively.

Objectives : The aim of this study was conducted to test alopecia by external application with traditional oriental hair care products. Methods : A total of 20 males who visited Daegu Hanny Oriental Medical Center from December 15th, 2007 to September 30th, 2008 were included in this study. In this study, they were treated with the hair care products(shampoo, hair tonic) containing herbs. For 12 weaks hair density and hair thickness content were measured by Folliscope 2.5. Comparative analysis result between before treatment and after treatment was checked. And satisfaction after using shampoo, hair tonic was checked. Results : Change of hair density and hair thickness between before treatment and after treatment (4, 8, 12 weeks) showed significant changes(p<0.05). Comparative analysis result between before treatment and after treatment showed significant changes(p<0.0001). Satisfaction after using shampoo, hair tonic was near good. Conclusions : Considering the above results, we have concluded that hair care products containing herbs have the remarkable effect on alopecia.

Objectives : The aim of this study was conducted to test dry infant skin by external application with herbs in cosmetics. Methods : A total of 25 infants who visited Daegu Hanny Oriental Medical Center from March 5th, 2008 to May 18th, 2008 were included in this study. In this study, they were treated with the cosmetic products(body wash, rotion, cream) containing herbs. For 4 weaks skin moisture content was measured by corneometer ClVI825. And satisfaction after using body wash, rotion, cream was checked. Results : There were no significant differences on sex and age. Change of skin moisture content between before treatment and after treatment (2, 4 weeks) showed significant changes(p<0.05). Satisfaction after using body wash, rotion, cream was near good. Conclusions : Considering the above results, we have concluded that cosmetics containing herbs have the remarkable effect on infant skin mosturizing.
