3차원 인체 스캔 데이터를 활용한 남성용 바디스 원형 설계 방법 연구
서동애,천종숙 服飾文化學會 2004 服飾文化硏究 Vol.12 No.2
The purpose of this study is to testify the pattern making method to develop the men's basic bodice pattern using 3-dimensional body scan data. The experimental patterns were made by adding wearing ease on flattened body scan data and tracing the outlines of it. The experimental bodice pattern were composed of front, back, and side panels. To compare the difference between the experimental pattern and traditional pattern, two pattern making methods were compared. Two sets of basic bodice patterns were made for each of the 10 male subjects: a set of pattern was made by experimental method and the other set was made by Bunka pattern making method. The experimental and traditional patterns were measured at 13 dimensions. The results show that there was a difference between the experimental patterns and traditional patterns at the front length, back length, front width, front neck width, back neck width, and back neck depth. The fit was also compared for both patterns. The results of the fit test show that the experimental patterns were superior to the traditional patterns at the fit of neck, shoulder, and armhole. The experimental pattern making method was expected to be useful for mass customization.
Oral Health Care Behaviors after Orthodontic Treatment
Jong-Ae Chun 대한임상예방치과학회 2011 International Journal of Clinical Preventive Denti Vol.7 No.2
Objective: The author has surveyed for oral health care for post orthodontic treatment by use of the questionnaire method, in order to find the proper guide for post orthodontic cares after finishing the treatment in clinical. Methods: 440 of the patients who were finished the orthodontic treatment were participated and the trends or distributions of orthodontic patients, treatment types, the periods of the treatment, satisfaction level and the oral health care were examined as well as the relationship between each factors were estimated. Results: The co-relation between the oral health factors and the post orthodontic cares were shown in the little relations with the age and such items as the periodontal state, the toothbrushing factor and the oral care factor. The co-relation were revealed as more in such factors as the toothbrush and the oral care, periodic dental exam and the retainer wearing, as well as in the factors of the periodic dental exam, and the retainer wearing factor. The co-relation were estimated as slight in such factors as the oral health care and periodic dental exam and the retainer wearing factor. Conclusion: It was recommended that toothbrushing and oral health care should be instructed contineously, after finishing orthodontic treatment, as well as the periodic dental exam and the retainer wearing should be lasted till a completely finishing the teeth arrangement fixations.

The Standardization of Toothbrush Form for Korean Adult
Jong Ae Chun,Min Jeong Cho 대한예방치과학회 2014 International Journal of Clinical Preventive Denti Vol.10 No.4
Objective: The author had measured the size of the dental models from adults in order to suggest the proper form of toothbrush standardization. Methods: There were 252 adults who participated through the impression taking, with the alginate, and model production with the stone. The length of two or three molar teeth was measured for estimating the proper length of the toothbrush head size length, and the intercuspal length was measured for deciding the proper length of the width head. The length of the incisal edge to cervical portion of canine was measured for the length of the toothbrush height. Results: The average and standard deviation were introduced and the results were as following: 1. The proper length of toothbrush for an adults were suggested as 21.4 to 30.5 mm for males and 20.9 to 29.6 mm for females. The proper width of toothbrush head size were suggested as 7.6 mm, and the height of the toothbrush head were suggested 10.7 mm for males and 10.3 mm for females; 2. The length of the neck of the proper toothbrush was suggested as 31.3 mm to males and famales; 3. The proper length of the handle of the adult toothbrush was suggested as 13.5 cm for males and 12.6 cm for females. Conclusion: We recommended that toothbrushes for general citizens should be designed and produced, by consideration of the average size of the Koreans standardization of the body or oral cavity.
치열교정환자의 진료인식에 따른 만족과 추천에 미치는 영향
천종애 ( Jong Ae Chun ) 한국치위생과학회 2013 치위생과학회지 Vol.13 No.1
The purpose of this study was to offer information to medical institution of specializing in orthodontic patients by surveying the influence of orthodontic patients` perception of treatment according to orthodontic treatment upon satisfaction and recommendation with orthodontic treatment, targeting patients with completion of orthodontics who have experience of having received orthodontic treatment. As a result of SAS ver. 9.1 analysis on what was surveyed from February 2010 to August, the following conclusions were obtained. In comparing perception of treatment on orthodontic treatment according to general characteristics, women compared to men were indicated to be higher (p<0.05) in inconvenience recognition (p<0.05) on orthodontic device and in inconvenience during orthodontic treatment (p<0.05). In perception of treatment on orthodontic treatment, the inconvenience of orthodontic device accounted for 79.3%, thereby having been recognized by the majority of subjects. Even the inconvenience during orthodontic treatment was being recognized by 69.8%. The orthodontic treatment expenses appeared enough to be expected by 61.6%. The frequency of visiting hospital during orthodontic treatment was indicated as saying of having been proper by 72.8%. The period of orthodontic treatment was indicated to be proper as well by 61.2%. Even understanding about treatment contents during orthodontic treatment was indicated to be understood by 62.6%. In the results of correlation among subjects` cooperation with dental treatment, satisfaction with treatment service, recommendation of this clinic, and satisfaction with the convenient facilities, the significantly positive correlation was shown (p<0.05) in all among items in each.

The free radical scavenging activities and the protective effects of Rhus javanica extracts against oxidative damage induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS) were investigated. n-Hexane, ethyl acetate and water fractions were prepared from a methanol extract. DPPH radical, superoxide anion and hydroxyl radical scavenging activities were estimated. Intracellular ROS formation was quantified using fluorescent probes, 2', 7'-dichlorofluorescin diacetate (DCFH-DA) for hydroxyl radical and dihydroethidium (DHE) for superoxide anion. The oxidative DNA damage was investigated by the comet assay in HepG$_2$ cells exposed either to $H_2O$$_2$ or to menadione. The highest $IC_{50}$/ values for DPPH radical scavenging activity was found in the ethyl acetate fraction with a value of 5.38 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL. Cells pretreated with $\geq$ 1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL of the ethyl acetate extract had significantly increased cell viability compared to control cells, which were not pretreated with the extract. Intracellular ROS formation and DNA damage in HepG$_2$ cells, which were pretreated with the various concentrations of Rhus javanica ethyl acetate extract and then incubated either with $H_2O$$_2$ or with menadione, reduced in a dose-dependent manner. These findings suggest that Rhus javanica might have biologically active components which have strong protective effects against ROS induced oxidative damages to the biomolecules, such as cell membranes and DNA.
