      • 바닥충격음 차음성능의 재현성에 관한 연구

        This study aims to certify the assumption that the impact sound insulation performance of same floor structure is equal. Because the reproducibility is important for reliable rating of sound insulation performance. To certify this assumption, 20 floors were selected in high-rise apartment house and then the impact sound insulation indexes were derived from measuring data. As a result, the assumption is rejected. Thus to enhance the reproducibility of the impact sound insulation index, it is required to review increasing the number of target floors or measurement according to frequency ranges.

        There are fire safety provisions in building codes for means of escape. But these provisions don't satisfy the new concepts and technics of architectual planning and forms. In this study, the escape provisions in the codes and regulatoins of 5 countries are compared. The concept and differences among countries are discussed for developing perfomance based standards. The fundamental difference between Korea and other countries in escape capacity is based on the occupant load factors.

      • 기준음원을 이용한 등가 흡음 면적 레벨 측정방법의 원리

        KS F 2810-1:2001 adopts the concept of normal and standardized sound pressure level for the impact sound insulation performance. In these measurement, the equivalent sound absorption areas are ordinarily obtained by measuring reverberation time in the receiving rooms. However, measuring the reverberation time needs additional instrument and different procedures from sound pressure level measurement. Therefore it is very useful and desirable if the sound absorption area can be obtained only by measuring sound pressure level instead of measuring reverberation time. In this study, the principle of measurement method of equivalent absorption area by using reference sound sources and the measuring process are reviewed.

      • 算術平均에 의한 바닥衝擊音 遮音性能 評價에 관한 硏究

        It is known that arithmetic mean values of impact sound have an unexpectedly high correlation with the loudness of the sound. This measure is simple and much more easily obtained than the measures specified in tile existing standards. This finding was obtained by psycho-acoustic experiments, however, not by field experiments. This paper aims to specify the relationship between this measure and existing measure, L value by JIS A 1419, and to review the proper range of frequencies to be considered by using 63 data of actual impact sounds for domestic floors. As a result, arithmetic mean values of sound levels showed good correlation with L values. And mean values in octave bands from 125 to 2㎑ were proper for light weight impact sound and those from 125 to 2kH were proper for heavy weight impact sound. In addition it was found that L values(by JIS A 1419) estimated from same floor could be underestimated compared to arithmetic values.

      • 공항 인접지역 학교의 실내환경평가

        This paper aims to evaluate the thermal comfort in the classrooms and the sound transmission loss(T.L.) between the classrooms and outside windows in elementary school which was designed to enhance the aircraft noise insulation performance. Double glazing, small area of opening windows, relatively large area of walls and air conditioning system were employed for the insulating solutions. But it was thought that those solutions could deteriorate other indoor environments. From the field survey it was checked whether the thermal environment was proper in classrooms. And it was reviewed how to improve the thermal conditions. And the T.L. between the classrooms, between the classroom and the outer doors in case of the air conditioning was operating or rot. We hope these results to provide architectural designers with the reference data in similar situations.

      • 도시환경에서의 Sound Amenity개념

        캐나다의 R.M,Schafer에 의해 사운드스케이라는 개념이 도입됨으로써 그동안 의 환경소음제어 분야에 종사하는 많은 사람들에게 방법론상의 획기적 사고전환을 가져왔다. 사운드스케이프 디자인 분야에서 매우 번번하게 사용되고 있는 주요 용어는 "소음의 쾌적성(sound amenity)"이다. 따라서 사운드스케이프의 개념전개를 위해서는 sound scape의 정확한 개념파악이 선행되어야 하며, 아직 이 분야에서의 본격적인 연구가 부재한 국내의 실정에서는 이를 토대로 다양한 사례조사와 관련연구를 필요로 한다. 본 연구의 주요내용은 sound amenity의 개념을 다양한 문헌을 통해 소개하고, 이 분야의 연구방향을 파악해 보는 데 있으며, 이를 통해 쾌적한 도시환경을 조성하는 새로운 패러다임을 모색하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다. The word "sound amenity" is now very popular in the field of soundscape design. The concept of soundscape which was first proposed by Canadian composer R.M.Schafer gave an impact on the methodology of environmental acoustics on which conventional researchers in the field of noise control engineers relied on. But in Korea, the concept of sound amenity or soundscape has not yet been recognized and also relative studies has not yet been carried. This paper is aim to introduce the concept and new trend of sound amenity to the noise control engineer, and is aim to provide them with noise control philosophy and methdology for the design of urban environment.

      • 노랫말에 반영된 한국인의 음풍경 인식조사

        It is required to understand the meaning of sound and cultural background of target spaces for soundscape design. The purpose of this study is to derive the general soundscape preserved in the mind of Korean people. Four kinds of traditional Korean songs, that is to say, Sijo (Korean verse), folk-song, Pansori (song for drama by Chang reciter), and popular songs, were used as tools of research subjects. That is because the sounds expressed in literature are very useful subjects for soundscape survey. Paragraphs containing description of sounds were selected from the lyrics of the songs. Then 11 sound categories were named, and 13 meaning categories were classified according to referential and emotional aspects, respectively.

      • 건축음향의 국제규격화 체계

        ISO(국제표준화기구)는 120여개국이 참여하는 세계적인 기구이다. 각종 기술위원회에서는 산하조직에 597개의 분과위원회(SC : Sub-Committee)와 작업반(WG : Working Group)을 두고 국제규격의 제정, 수정 및 개정 둥의 업무를 수행하며, 그 결과로서 ISO규격이 작성된다. 본 조사연구는 IS0/TC43/SC2(건축음향)의 주요 활동사항을 정리해 보았다. ISO(the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies, from some 120 countries. The technical work of ISO is highly decentralized, carried out in a hierarchy of some 2,700 technical committees(TC), sub-committees(SC) and working groups(WG). The results of the ISO work are published as International Standards. In this paper, main fields of work at the ISO/TC43/SC2 are described.
