The purpose of this study was to analyse the EMG activity of selected muscles with balance taping treatment and blood fatigue makers which accumulated during exercise of progressive maximal intensity. Ten male college students who did not experience any cardiovascular and musculo-skeletal disease were participated in this study. Balance taping were applied to rectus femoris, vastus medialis, vastus lateralis, biceps femoris, semitendinous, semimembranous, and around knee joint. Isokinetic knee joint flexion/extension force, EMG activity, lactate and ammonia as blood fatigue makers during progressive maximal intensity exercise were measured for with/without applying balance taping. The results indicated that although flexion force of total work at 60˚/sec with taping was increased applied taping did not affect to the aerobic exercise ability parameters. Lactate level as blood fatigue makers during progressive maximal intensity exercise after taping was decreased but the ammonia level did not change with same treatment. In isokinetic knee joint test at the angular velocity of 60˚/sec, 180˚/sec, and 240˚//sec the taping treatment did not affect to any selected muscle EMG activities except maximal EMG of vastus lateralis at 240˚/sec.

Background and Objectives : Extranodal non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL) of the head and neck(H&N) accounts for 10-20% of all cases of NHL. Despite their frequency, the cause of these lymphomas is still poorly understood. Recently, the role of viral origin in NHLs, including Epstein-Barr virus(EBV), as the main cause of sinonasal lymphomas of T/NK cell phenotype and HTLV-1 as a cause of acute T-cell lymphoma/leukemia has been well documented. We investigated the clinicopathologic findings, immunophenotypic profile, and status of EBV and HTLV-1 DNA of patients with H&N lymphoma. Materials and Methods : Twenty-seven patients with NHL of H&N region were studied. There were 15 males and 12 females with the median age of 50 years. All patients were reclassified according to the Working formulation(WF) and REAL classification. EBV genome DNA and HTLV-1 RNA were surveyed by PCR assay using formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue blocks. Results : The tonsil was the most commonly involved site(44.4%) followed by nasal cavity(18.5%), nasopharynx(18.5%) and orbit(7.4%). Immunophenotyping revealed 19 cases of B cell lineage, 7 cases of T cell lineage and one case of null cell type. Most of B-cell lymphomas were diffuse large cell lymphomas(58%). Tonsillar lymphomas were all B-cell origin. Four of the five nasal cavity lymphomas and one nasopharyngeal lymphoma showed an angiocentric T/NK cell phenotype with strong association with EBV. EBV genome was detected in 15 of 26 H&N NHLs(57.7%). Seven of 19 B-cell lymphomas(36.8%) and all T/NK or null cell type lymphomas were positive for EBV DNA. However, there was no HTLV-1 positive cases found. Conclusions : It could be concluded that the high incidence of EBV of angiocentric T/NK-cell lymphomas of the nasal cavity may indicate a probable role of EBV in the development of these lymphomas.

The study comprises the essential part of a project for assessing actual berth-capacity of deteriorated and damaged dolphin structures at the Onsan oil refinery wharf currently operated for the berth of oil refinery ships of 20,000 DWT.

And an on-line shooting game "3D Fortress" which has been developed using this 3D engine with server technologies is introduced for the techniques and methodology applied in the process of development of the game as well as the features and discussions of its implementation.

The mixing rule derived from excess Gibbs free energy at infinite pressure is newly introduced in the SRK equation of state. The Gibbs free energy is predicted by the method of analytical solution of groups(ASOG). The group pair parameters for CH₂, CH₃, CH₄and CO₂groups are well correlated to the temperature. The vapar-liquid equilibria predicted from using the parameters for the binary systems of n-paraffins and carbon dioxide are compared with the results using the optimum interaction parameter(??). The average deviations of vapor mole fraction and pressure in this work are comparative to them by the optimum ??.

Rocuronium 애벌투여시 근이완 발현시간 정도의 관찰

Methods: A total of 100 patients with ASA physical status I-II scheduled for elective surgery were enrolled. After induction with propofol (1.5mg/kg), one hundred patients were randomly allocated to two groups (Group A: T1 height depression (T1%)≥90%, Group B:T1 height depression (T1%) < 90%). Three minutes after priming with rocuronium (0.06 mg/kg), Group A received 0.54 mg/kg rocuronium, Group B received sensitivity-adjusted dose of rocuronium, respectively. Intubation was performed when T1 height depression (T1%) = 0% (onset time). Neuromuscular function was assessed using Evoked Eletromyography (Datex Relaxo graph NMT. Datex. Helsinki. Finland). Results: Three minutes after priming (0.06 mg/kg), T1 height depression (T1%) in Group B (71.0 ± 8.8%) were significantly lower than Group A (98.4 ± 2.4%) (P < 0.05). The onset times in Group B (195 ± 29s) were significantly shorter (P < 0.05) than Group A (248 ± 34 s). Conclusions: Sensitivity-adjusted dose of rocuronium by priming decreased the onset times and total rocuronium dose.

Howichung(扈衛廳) was the army which had the duty guarding the palace. The army was privately called out made the regular army n August in King Incho(仁祖) Restoration (1623). At that time the subject power was stronger than the King's power in Howichung. Sasaechang( four generals) managed Howichung. But in the King Hyochong(孝宗) it was recognized into 4 Chung(廳) and its character was also changed. After that time it was again reorganized into two, three or four Chung under the King's purpose and became the faithful royal guards. Howichung consisted of two kinds of officers got salaries and officers against a rebellion in their houses. These were officers with no soldiers in Howichung. Though the number of the officers were not the same every year, it was managed with the officers against a rebellion in their houses because they were more than the officers got salaries. Moreover it had soldiers in their houses because they were more than the officers got salaries. Moreover it had soldiers in King Sukchong(肅宗), and was highly concerned with the capital-guard-system. The members of the officers in Howichung were made up of Yangban(兩班), Jung-in(中人), Seo-eol(庶孼) and Hanlyang(閑良) form Dangsang(堂上出身) except the beginning of the organization of Howichung. Kamsa(監使) and Pyeogsa(兵使) picked out the officers from among masters of martial arts in them, and the officers had passed Yu-yub-chun(柳葉錢). They became the officers agaist a rebellion in their houses and Byolchangs(別將) in the headquarters selected the officers who had passed the examination and the officers became the officers got salaries. The selections were often made in the regular and irregular methods. In this time the officers of superior ability were recorded in the special book, and they had the privileges which served the official positions, namely Byeonchang(邊將) or Jikbuchunsi(直赴殿試) Howichung had various duties : the guard of the palace, the capital guard in the King's absence, spying and fighting in war. There was not the provided finances in Howichung. So it had the difficulties because Hocho(戶曹) and Byeongcho(兵曹) helped Howichung whenever it needed money. To solve this Problem Howichung openly received the finances under the name of Yemok(禮木) and Yechun(禮錢)from the officers in Howichung. For this matter the officers had to consist of Magye(馬契), Chungye(錢契) and so on. Moreover many evils happened which offered bribes to the officers in order to become the officers of Howichung, and escaped the army works and the various works. Especially the officers of Howichung were highly connected with the rebellion of Shim Ki-won and Kim Ga-jum, and in the beginning year of King Jungcho a group of the officers of Howichung were armed and invaded the king's bedroom. So Howichug was sharply decreased to 1 Chung.
