국가 교통 신기술 개발은 지속적으로 이루어지고 있는 반면, 이러한 기술을 사전에 어떠한 개발조건과 교통 환경에 적합한지를 신속하게 결정할 수 있는 의사결정 시스템이 부재한 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 철도 및 교통기술에 대한 투자 분석의 다양화 요구에 융통성 있게 대응할 수 있고 기존 투자분석의 소요기간을 단축할 수 있는 신속성 및 정확성 확보가 가능한 교통투자분석지원 시스템 기술 개발에 대한 방향을 소개하도록 한다. 교통투자분석지원 시스템(SMARTIS)은 다양한 교통 신기술사업에 대한 개발여부 및 방향을 객관적으로 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. New transport technologies have been rapidly developed and various transport systems are ready to introduced. However, there no exists effective decision making tools for pre-feasibility study on transport system. This study introduces the smart transport information system (SMARTIS) for supporting decision making with ease, fast and reliable methods. The SMARTIS is expected to be informative for transit agencies and operators.

New transport technologies have been rapidly developed and various transport systems are ready to introduce. However, there no exists effective decision making tools for pre-feasibility studies on transport systems. The pre-feasibility studies should provide reliable solutions about whether a certain transport system is feasible or not by cost-benefit analysis and effectiveness test of enhancing regional economy. This study introduces the smart transport investment/information system (SMARTIS) for supporting decision making with ease, fast and reliable methods. The SMARTIS incorporates travel demand estimates into the process of feasibility studies with automatic data processing methods to give reliable solutions quickly. The SMARTIS is expected to be informative for transit agencies, planners, and operators.
원전 기기 건전성의 온라인 검사를 위한 유도 초음파의 실험적 연구

기기 건전성의 온라인 검사 및 감시 기술은 기존의 원전의 가동 중 검사의 효율적 수행에 필요한 정보를 제공한다. 유도 초음파는 온라인 검사와 감시에 활용 가능성이 있는 기술 중의 하나로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 검사 및 감시 기술 개발의 일환으로 유도초음파를 이용하여 파이프의 건전성을 검사/감시하는 기술을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 증기 발생기 세관을 실험 대상으로 하여 분산 선도 및 특정 모드에 대응하는 초음파 입사각을 계산하였다. Short time Fourier transform을 이용한 시간-주파수 분석을 통하여 유도초음파 모드를 확인하였으며, 유도 초음파가 증기발생기 세관의 곡관 부분을 통과할 때 모드 변환이 발생하지 않는 것을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 유도 초음파를 이용한 증기발생기 세관의 최적 검사 모드를 제안하고 실험에 의하여 이를 확인하였다. Deployment of an advanced on-line monitoring of the component integrity offers a prospect of improved performance, enhanced safety, and reduced overall cost for nuclear power plants. Ultrasonic guided waves have been known as one of the promising techniques that could be utilized for on-line monitoring. The present work is aimed at developing a new method for on-line monitoring of the pipes during the operation period of nuclear power plants. For this purpose, the steam generator (S/G) tube was selected as an object of the experiment. Dispersion curves and the incident angles corresponding to the specific modes were calculated for the S/G tube. The modes of guided waves were identified by the time-frequency diagrams obtained by the short time Fourier transform. It was experimentally confirmed that there was no mode conversion when the ultrasonic guided waves passed over the curved region of the S/G tube. An optimum mode of guided wave for the S/G tube was suggested and verified by the experiment.

<P>This study was aimed at developing an effective method and a system for on-line health monitoring of pipes in nuclear power plants by using ultrasonic guided waves. For this purpose we developed a multi-channel ultrasonic guided wave system for a long-range inspection of pipes and a few techniques which can effectively find defects in pipes. To validate the developed system we performed a series of experiments and analyzed the results.</P>
A distributed MAC design for data collision-free wireless USB home networks

<P>USB has been used at an enormous number of USB devices as a universal interface. Advances in USB and wireless communication technologies have led USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum) to establishment of WUSB(Wireless USB) standard 1.0 that has wired USB's speed and compatibility in addition to wireless technology's convenience. The wireless USB provides convenience. However, due to mobility of WUSB devices in multi-hop environment, DRP (Distributed Reservation Protocol) reservation conflicts happen frequently among devices with three-hop distance. To solve this problem, we propose a new DRP reservation scheme using a new 2-hop range DRP Availability IE for three-hop mobility support in WUSB networks with ultrawideband (UWB) technology. It is shown by simulation results that throughputs of devices at frequent three-hop range DRP reservation conflicts are largely increased.</P>
