This paper presents the numerical analysis and experimental verification to know the metal cutting buff formation mechanism in face milling operation. Finite element method are applied to predict the 2-D burr formation process prediction. Face milling process are adjusted to analyze the characteristics of burr shapes according to various cutting conditions. The cutting parameters were investigated with cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut. Through a few experiments, various burr types are classified according to its shape and properties.
공업화부재의 생산/운반/양중관리를 위한 정보가시화 시스템 개발에 관한 연구

Recently, The construction field in the urban area is short of working space and securing processing place because it is surrounded by adjacent buildings and nearby roads and have difficulties in rising labor costs. The insufficient space causes problems of interference and conflicts in transporting materials and working at the site. Therefore, Construction Manager find many alternative method and select industrialized method. The objective of this paper is to develop and give a method of information visualization system for manufacturing, delivering and lifting these materials in construction project stakeholders, using tools visualizing informations. The tools supports to stakeholders so many informations in material manufacturing, delivering, lifting in construction site. That is, order information, manufacture information in factory, sending information, carrying information, unloading and lifting in Site, and so on. Case studies are performed to evaluate the feasibility and applicability of the proposed method.

간질성 신염은 신장의 간질을 선택적으로 침범하는 염증성 질환으로 여러가지 원인에 의해 유발되며, 이 중 약물에 의한 경우는 각종 항생제, 비스테로이드성 진통제, 항경련제, 이뇨제, 면역억제제등에 의한 증례들이 보고되고 있다. 현재 각종 질환-특히 만성질환-의 치료에서 한약이 차지하는 비중이 적지 않으나, 그 각각의 성분들이 유발할 수 있는 부작용들에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 저자들은 관절염 치료를 위해 중국산 한약을 복용한 후 복통, 피로감 및 육안적 혈뇨를 주소로 내원한 두 환자에서, 단백뇨와 신기능 장애를 보여 시행한 신조직 생검상 급성 간질성 신염에 합당한 병리학적 소견을 보이고, 한약 복용 중지 후 급속한 회복을 보여, 한약에 의해 유발된 것으로 사료되는 급성 간질성 신염 2예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Acute interstitial nephritis is a disease characterized by renal interstitial inflammatory cell infiltration and acute renal functional deterioration. This is caused mainly by antibiotics, NSAID and diuretics such as thiazide, but cases induced by herb medication are rare. We experienced two cases of acute interstitial nephritis after treatment with herb medication. One 71-year-old female patient and the other 60-year-old female were admitted to the hospital because of general weakness and gross hematuria. Microscopic hematuria, pyuria, and proteinuria were presented. After definitive diagnosis with a renal biopsy, we noted rapid recovery of renal function by drug withdrawal and steroid therapy. We report these cases with a review of the referenced literatures. Key Words : Herb medication, Acute Interstitial nephritis.

This paper presents the experimental results to analyze the characteristics of cutting fluid aerosol generation in grinding process. Machining is a one of the broad manufacturing process to produce the parts, products and various molds and dies. The environmental impact due to aerosol generation via atomization process is a major concern associated with environmental consciousness. Experimental results show that the generated fine aerosol which particle size less than 10 micron appears near worker's breath zone under given operational conditions. The aerosol concentration is much higher enough to affect human health risk with its generated aerosol quantities. This qualitative analysis can be provided the basic knowledge for further research for environmentally conscious machining technology developments.
PI-003, a Novel Cytosolic Phospholipase $A_2$ Inhibitor Isolated from Bacillus subtilis

A few strains of bacteria producing phospholipase $A_2$ ($PLA_2$) inhibitor have been isolated from soil. The most potent inhibitor (named PI-003) was selected through in vitro and in vivo tests. The molecular weight of PI-003 was 1,035, based on FAB-MS, and the constituent amino acid composition was four leucines, one aspartic acid, one valine, and one glutamic acid. The $IC_{50}$ value was $10.1{\mu}M$ for $cPLA_2$, PI-003 significantly inhibited carrageenin induced paw edema and writhing syndrome.
김치발효 중의 젖산균의 경시적 변화 및 분리 젖산균의 동정

김치의 발효온도를 5, 20 및 30℃로 달리하여 발효기간 중의 젖산균의 경시적인 변화를 선택배지를 이용하여 젖산균군별로 계수하는 방법으로 비교하고 이들 젖산균을 분리하여 형태적, 배양적 및 생리적 특징에 따라 동정하였다. Leuconostoc, Lactobacillus, Streptococcus 및 Pediococcus속의 각 젖산균의 경시적인 변화는 각 온도에 있어서 그 양상이 비슷하고 온도가 높을수록 빨리 진행되었다. 이들 중 Leuconostoc 및 Lactobacillus가 높은 분포를 나타내었으며 낮은 온도에서 Leuconostoc는 증가하고 기타의 젖산균은 감소하는 경향이었다. Leuconostoc 및 Streptococcus는 초기에 증가하여 적숙기 이후에 급속히 감소하며 Pediococcus는 Streptococcus에 뒤이어 계속 증가하다가 뒤에 급속히 감소하고 Lactobacillus는 전 발효기간을 통하여 높은 분포를 나타내며 발효의 진행에 따라 조금 감소하는 경향이었다. 이들 각 속의 균주는 Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides, Streptococcus faecium, S. faecalis, pediococcus pentosaceus, Lactobacillus plantarum, L. sake 및 L. brevis로 동정되었으며 Lactobacillus속 분리균주 중 L. sake 및 L. brevis는 발효초기에, L. plantarum은 과숙기에 주로 분리되었다. The microfloral changes of lactic acid bacteria during Kimchi fermentation at 5, 20 and 30℃ were compared by using various selective media, and the lactic acid bacterial strains were isolated and identified. The patterns of microfloral changes in each lactic acid bacterial group, leuconostoc, lactobacilli, streptococci and pediococci, were similar at different fermentation temperature, and the changes were accelerated by increased temperature. Among them, leuconostoc and lactobacilli showed high population, and at low temperature the number of leuconostoc were higher than at high temperature. Leuconostoc and streptococci were increased in number from the beginning, but they rapidly decreased after the optimum ripening period. Pediococci increased their number after streptococci, but they were rapidly decreased later. Lactobacilli were highly distributed throughout the whole fermentation period. However, they were slightly declined as the acidity increased. Those strains of leuconostoc, streptococci, pediococci and lactobacilli were identified as Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. mesenteroides, Streptococcus faecalis, S. faecium, Pediococcus pentosaceus, Lactobacillus plantarum, L. sake and L. brevis. Among lactobacilli,L. sake and L. brevis, and L. plantarum were isolated mainly at the beginning and around the overripening period of fermentation, respectively.

The physico-chemical properties of ten reclaimed saline soils in five soil series of west-south Korea were analyzed according to the years past after reclamation. The soil samples were collected at the same sites two times in 2000 and 2004. The physico-chemical properties in 2000 had been changed in 2004 as follows. Soil salinity was the highest in Podu and desalinization period was the shortest in Munpo and Yeompo. Seasonal ground water level were above 100 cm in all regions that were 30 years old reclaimed tidal land, which was the same results of normal paddy field. In the case of soil physical changes, bulk density increased in fine textured soil (Poseung and Podu) but decreased in coarse textured soil (Gwanghwal, Munpo, and Yeompo). Porosity decreased in fine textured soil(Poseung and Podu) but increased in coarse textured soil. These reason were as follows. Fine textured soil were increased in solid phase but decreased in liquid and gaseous phase. Coarse textured soil, Gwanghwal and Munpo except for Yempo, were increased in gaseous phase but decreased in solid and liquid phase. Yempo that have low water table level were increased in liquid phase but decreased in solid and gaseous phase. Soil hardness increased in 4 soil series except for Munpo. In the case of chemical property changes, although there were more or less difference, it showed decreasing tendencies. Soil pH, the content of organic matter, available phosphate, and available silicate of five soil series were decreased during the four years. The content of exchangeable cation also decreased except for magnesium.
