        항암화학요법에 의해 발생한 구내염에 대한 베타딘의 구강함수와 GM-CSF의 구강함수의 효과 비교연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of GM-CSF vs traditional betadine or chlorhexidine in chemotherapy-induced stomatitis. These data were collected from May 1, 2000 to Sempember 30, 2001. The subjects of this study were 30 patients who had stomatitis higher than grade 2 by Nicolatou's oral assessment method. The subjects were divided into two groups, one was experimental group(n=19) in which oral gargle was provided 4 times a day(after meals, before bedtime) with GM-CSF 400mcg/40ml, the other group was the contol group(n=11) in which it was provided with betadine or chlorhexidine gargle solution. Data were analyzed using SAS 6.12 version, t-test, Fisher's Exact test, Cox's proportional hazard model. The results of this study were as follows : 1) In general properties, all conditions including sex, age, medical diagnosis, chemotherapy type, smoking history, oral hygiene, and ECOG performance scale were not significantly different between the two groups(p>0.05). 2) There was no big difference in the effect response period between the two groups until the time that the 2 grade oral stomatitis became to relieve(8.21 days in experimental group, 9 days in control group)(p>0.05). 3) In the result of survival analysis, the treament effect of experimental group was higher than that of control group until 10 days after oral gargle. But there was no difference in the treament effect after 10 days oral gargle. In conclusion, there was no big difference in the effect response period between the GM-CSF gargle group and the traditional betadine or chlorhexidine gargle group from chemotherapy. But, the treatment effect in the GM-CSF gargle group is far faster until 10 days from oral gargle. So, I recommand patients to use the GM-CSF oral gargle until 10 days from chemotherapy to relieve discomfort in severe stomatitis.

        중증 자궁내막증 환자의 자궁내막과 정상인 자궁내막에서 uPA, uPAR mRNA 발현의 차이에 관한 연구

        목 적: 자궁내막증에서 그 병태생리를 연구함에 있어서 fibrinolytic system과의 연관성을 알아보기 위해서 자궁내막증 환자와 자궁내막증이 아닌 대조군의 자궁내막에서 urokinase plasminogen activator (u-PA)와 urokinase type plasminogen activator receptor (u-PAR)의 mRNA의 발현의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 본원 산부인과를 방문한 한국인 여성 중 수술을 통해 자궁내막증을 진단 받은 33명의 환자와 난소 낭종 등의 양성 질환으로 개복술이나 골반경 수술을 시행한 환자 중 자궁내막증이 없음을 확인한 여성 32명을 대조군으로 하였다. 각각의 대상으로부터 얻은 자궁내막 조직에서 RNA를 추출하여 RT-QC PCR을 시행하여 얻고자 하는 대상의 mPNA 양을 정량화하여 두 군 간에 차이가 있는지를 생리주기에 따라 비교하였다. 결 과: u-PA와 u-PAR의 mPNA는 자궁내막증 환자 및 대조군에서 모두 발현하였으며, 자궁내막증 환자에서의 u-PA mPNA는 증식기 자궁내막에서 대조군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 발현됨을 관찰하였다. u-PAR mPNA는 두 군 사이에서 생리주기 전반에 걸쳐 비교했을 때 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 결 론: 자궁내막증의 병태생리와 관련하여 u-PA와 u-PAR의 mPNA 발현에 대해서 조사한 결과 u-PA mPNA가 자궁내막증 환자에서 대조군보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 발현되었고 이것은 자궁내막증 환자의 자궁내막의 성격이 좀 더 침습적이고, 이로써 복막에의 침습에도 더 유리한 역할을 가진다고 볼 수 있다. 자궁내막증에 대한 기본적인 병태생리로 볼 때, 자궁내막 자체가 가장 중요한 역할을 하리라고 보며, 이를 단백질 분해능과 연관지어 생각해 볼 때, u-PA 발현의 dysregulation이 자궁내막의 침습에 중요한 병태생리라고 생각된다. Objective: We investigated the expression of uPA and uPAR in eutopic endometrium of advanced stage endometriosis and control patients. Methods: The 33 endometriosis patients and 32 controls were enrolled. Endometrial samples were obtained from 65 premenopausal women aged 29-44 years, undergoing laparoscopic surgery or hysterectomy for non-malignant lesions. Sufficient samples were collected from 33 patients with endometriosis stage Ill and IV and 32 controls without endometriosis confirmed by laparoscopic surgery. The mRNA expression of uPA and uPAR from eutopic endometrium were analyzed by RT-QC PCR. Results: The mRNAs of uPA and uPAR were expressed in eutopic endometrium from endometriosis and normal controls throughout the menstrual cycle. Uterine endometrium from women with endometriosis expresses significantly (p<0.05) higher levels of u-PA mRNA than endometrium from normal women without endometriosis in the proliferative phase. There were no significant differences in expression of uPAR in eutopic endometrium between controls and endometriosis patients. Conclusion: These results suggest that eutopic endometrium from endometriosis patients may be more invasive and prone to peritoneal implantation because of greater u-PA mRNA expression than endometrium from women without endometriosis. Thus, increased proteolytic activity may be one etiology for the invasive properties of the endometrium resulting in the development of endometriosis.

        Rapid real-time detection method of ACLSV and ASSVd for apple quarantine field

        Apples are produced using a high-density plantation system using M.9 rootstock in Korea. However, the virus infection rate of apples tends to be high because the rootstocks produced from virus-infected mother stocks were widely used and vegeta�tive propagation based on the grafting is common with scion cultivars. The most efective way to control plant virus and viroid depends on conducting a massively rapid and precise diagnostic inspection. Therefore, this study aims to develop a real-time PCR assay that can be precisely and inexpensively tested for ACLSV and ASSVd. To expand the detection range, we developed a singleplex real-time PCR method targeting the conserved region of ACLSV and ASSVd, respectively. The detection methods using two kinds of fuorescent chemical dye, SYBR Green I and TaqMan probe, have been developed in this study. Comparing these methods developed with two dyes, the assay using SYBR Green I was efcient for detection as much as the method using TaqMan probe and faster. The feld test demonstrated real-time detecting methods developed using SYBR Green I dye were applicable to reliable diagnosis and quantifcation for virus and viroid in quarantine felds.

        High‑resolution melting analysis for identification of apple cultivars using simple sequence repeat markers

        Apple trees are perennial plant and have a characteristic of requiring long period from seed germination to flowering and fruiting. Most Korean apple cultivars are derived from closely related varieties genetically; consequently, they are distributed into grafted seedlings at juvenile stage. Therefore, it is difficult for them to distinguish by morphological traits due to the high similarities without fruit characteristics. We have integrated the high-resolution melting (HRM) analysis with simple sequence repeat (SSR) marker genotyping to identify thirteen apple cultivars originated from South Korea. The patterns of temperature-shifted melting curves were investigated from HRM analysis. The SSR loci used in this study generated a unique melting curve profile for each cultivar allowing their comparison and classification. The combination of the allelic patterns obtained with the just three SSR markers was able to identify thirteen apple cultivars. These results suggest that SSR markers used in combination with HRM analysis can be a fast and accurate method for high-throughput cultivar identification and biodiversity assessment.

        The effect of gamma-irradiation on the changes of photosynthetic efficiency in Kanpei (Citrus unshiu × C. sinensis)

        Fruit trees are perennial plant to have a characteristic requiring a long juvenile period until fruit set in general. Developing to release a new fruit cultivar is a laborious and cost- and time-consuming work. Especially, citrus breeding is not always feasible due to its cross-incompatible, sterile, and polyembryonic characteristics. Therefore, mutagenesis has been widely applied to citrus breeding to increase mutation frequency and genetic variability enabling development of new genotypes as an alternative method. Recently, various tangor (Citrus unshiu× C. sinensis) cultivars were released through interspecific hybridization. Many attempts have been made to induce mutations in developing tangor cultivars, while their physiological effects have not been verified yet. To investigate the effect of gamma-irradiation exerted on tangor cultivar ‘Kanpei’, its scions were irradiated with 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 Gy of gamma-rays. Then, we examined the SPAD values between the gamma- irradiated M0 plants comparing with control ‘Kanpei’ (0 Gy). Interestingly, we found that there are variations in SPAD values among different treatments. This implies that mutation breeding should consider different factors other than the target traits.

        질 샌더(Jil Sander)의 비대칭 패션디자인 연구

        다른 사람과 차별화 된 것을 더 가치 있게 생각하며 개성을 중시하는 현대의 독특한 미적 표현을 위해서는 독창 적이고 실험적인 디자인이 요구되고 있다. 그러한 시대의 요구에 따라 대중들의 관심을 받고 있는 디자인이 바로 비대칭 디자인이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 심플하고 절제된 디자인의 질 샌더 컬렉션에 매년 나타나는 비대칭 디자인 요소에 초점을 두고 비대칭적 디자인만을 선별하여 특성을 살펴보고 그 조형성을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 방법은 비대칭의 조형적 연구를 문헌조사를 통해 이론을 적립하고 사례연구를 실시하였다. 질 샌더의 RTW(Ready-To-Wear) 컬렉션 중 비대칭 디자인이 가장 많이 나타난 2009년 S/S 컬렉션부터 최근 발표한 2018년 S/S 컬렉션까지 10년 기간 동안 발표한 디자인 856개 중 비대칭 디자인으로 판단되는 디자인을 전문가 검증을 통해 추려 이를 바탕으로 디자인의 특성을 조형의 요소 중 선, 실루엣과 스타일, 색채와 문양, 기타 디테일로 분석하였다. 그 결과 의외성, 유희성, 장식성, 관능성의 조형성을 도출 할 수 있었다. 질 샌더의 비대칭 패션디자인은 대칭이라는 기존 디자인의 사고방식에서 벗어나 개성 있고 창의적인 디자인을 보여주었고, 나아가 독창적인 비대칭적 디자인의 폭넓은 디자인 전개를 위한 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. In modern fashion that values differentiation and emphasizes individuality, creative and experimental design is required to meet the qualities of modern unique aesthetic expressiveness. Asymmetrical design is the design that is receiving public attention for meeting the needs of the times. As such, the study aims to examine the characteristics of selected asymmetrical designs and analyse its formativeness, focusing on asymmetrical design elements that appear every year in the subtle and restrained collection of Jil Sander. Literature reviews on previous studies on asymmetry formativeness were conducted to develop a theoretical foundation, and subsequently, case studies were conducted. 856 designs from Jil Sander’s RTW collection over a 10 year period were reviewed, from 2009 S/S collection, which had the most asymmetrical designs, to 2018 S/S collection. Among them, asymmetrical designs were selected and their formative elements were evaluated, the line, silhouette and style, colour and pattern, and other details were analysed. As a result, the formativeness of unexpectedness, playfulness, decorativeness, and sensuality could be derived. Jil Sander’s asymmetrical fashion deviated from traditional symmetrical designs to express individuality and creativity. As much as this study focused on Jil Sander’s asymmetrical design, the study intends to be utilized as the baseline data for the development of the creative asymmetrical design.

        직장인의 직무 스트레스와 구강 자각증상의 융합적 관련성

        본 연구는 직장인의 직무 스트레스가 구강 자각증상에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 경기도 일부 지역 내 직장인을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램으로 분석하였으며 그 결과, 직무 스트레스 하위 요인 중 직무 불안정은(p<.01)저작 장애에, 직무 요구는(p<.01)잇몸 출혈 및 잇몸질환에, 긍정적 조 직체계는 구취와(p<.05)잇몸 출혈 및 잇몸질환에(p<.01)유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 직장인의 직무 스트레스에 대한 효율적인 관리 방안을 마련하고, 직무 스트레스와 관련된 구강 자각증상을 예측한다면 직장 인의 계속 구강 건강관리는 물론 성인 구강 건강증진에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of job stress on oral subjective symptoms observed in office workers. A survey of office workers in the Gyeonggi-do area was conducted and data collected was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program. The results showed that among the sub-scales of job stress, job insecurity, job demand, and positive organizational system had significant effects on dysmasesis (p<.01), gum bleeding and gum disease (p<.01), and halitosis (p<.05) as well as gum disease (p<.01), respectively. Therefore, it is considered that making an effective job stress management plan and predicting related oral subjective symptoms in office workers will help improve the oral health management of office workers and adult oral health management in general.
