        일제초기 창원군 토지조사과정과 토지신고서 분석

        The aim of this study is to clarify a process of reporting landownership and the character of land register, by examining the land register, that is, the source material of Cadastral Surveying Project in Changwon County. The land register is a document which a landowner informs his own land to the Temporary Bureau of Cadastral Survey in the reporting period. About 99.5 percent of land reports were authorized their landownership as a result. These results of this research have aroused a heated controversy. Private land was registered on the basis of a family register(民籍) and a register of land tax(結數連名簿) and State land on the basis of a public land-book(驛屯土臺帳). The Temporary Bureau of Cadastral Survey authorized a landownership after inquiring into and confirming the fact. The omission, mistake, and change of registers were corrected and were reported again. Along with the actual survey-book and the original drawing(原圖), the land register was completed through these process. The Cadastral Survey Project in Changwon County had been performed for two years and nine months, from June 1913 to March 1916. The results which Japanese Imperialism obtained through Cadastral Survey Project are as follows. First, a taxed land and a state land increased. Second, Japanese Imperialism paved the way for making Korea its colony, establishing the land system based on an absolute landownership through Cadastral Survey Project. Old public land and joint ownership also were disjointed thoroughly. In the result, a Japanese imperialist and a landowner-capitalist could dominate Korean society more easily and more systematically. Finally, the results were caused by depriving of the right of cultivation as a real right.         PECVD법으로 제조된 DLC박막의 기판에 따른 접착력에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 플라즈마 화학 증착법으로 기판에 따른 DLC 박막의 접착력 변화를 조사하였다. 박막의 분리가 발생하기 시작하는 경우의 두께를 임계두께로 정하여 스크래치 테스터로 측정된 임계하중과 더불어 박막의 잡착강도값으로 사용하였다. 다이아몬드상 탄소박막은 실리콘 기판에서 가장 우수한 접착력을 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 크롬>티타늄>철>세라믹 기판의 순으로 접착력이 감소하였다. XPS, AES 분석을 사용하여 계면에서 결합구조와 결합형태 등을 관찰하여 접착력과의 관계를 조사하였다. 그 결과 다이아몬드상 탄소박막의 접착강도는 막/기판의 계면에서의 탄화물 형성에 영향을 받으며, 계면에서의 초기산화물층에 큰 영향을 받는것을 확인하였다.

        한국 전쟁기 가톨릭 外援 기관의 원조 활동과 그 영향

        Since 1945, WRC-NCWC had shipped huge amount of relief materials to Korea for the relief of Korean refugees. The missionary perspective had been stressed in Catholic emergency work and institutional care. Relief materials were channelled through Catholic churches. Catholic relief work were comprised as emergency relief, social work, education, health and community development. Many refugees and war sticken families had been helped by the Catholic emergency relief work during and after the Korean War. Catholic agencies played a key role in relief activities for war refugees with such institutions as orphanages, homes for the war widows, homes for the elderly etc. It was found as a major explanation that why Korean social work has developed focusing on the institutional care service and been perceived as such from that time on. Education and health services have been the key components of Catholic mission in Korea since late Yi-dynasty. After the outbreak of Korean War, Catholic churches exerted special efforts to reconstruct the mission schools and charity hospitals. With the surplus agricultural produces of United States, Catholic churches supported the resettlement projects for the war prisoners after the Korean War. Also Churches helped and supported the leper community for their settlement work. The heartful desertion of Catholic relief agencies during and after the Korean war has contributed the formation of good reputations from Koreans. The existence of many unselfish an devoted pastors and volunteers are the strengths of Catholic social work. But it must not be ignored that those strengths may sometimes come into tensions or conflicts with the professionalism of social work.

        초기 사회사업 개념 형성에 미친 외원단체 활동의 영향 : <카나다 유니테리안 봉사회>의 사례를 중심으로 A Case Study on Social Work Practices by the Unitarian Service Committee of Canada (USCC)

        The topic of this paper is the impacts of foreign voluntary agencies on the conception formation of social work in Korea. Koreans in general recall charity, relief work or orphanage management when they hear social work. I define it as the lay conception of social work as compared to the professional conception of social work which stresses on the scientific approach to social problems. These two conceptions of social work differ in their perception on the social worker's role and status in society. Foreign voluntary agencies, which had been practicing social work of lay conception, suddenly introduced professional social work such as social case work in the late 1950s. USCC was one of the major agencies which hired social case workers. There are two conditions for USCC to introduce social case work: one was the need of USCC to facilitate the relief work and the other was the existence of social workers educated in Korean universities. Social case work was practiced in family welfare work, medical case work, orphanage work and social center programs. Social workers who studied medical, curative social work focused on the 'individual problem' rather than 'structural failure' in their case work practices. USCC like some other foreign voluntary agencies had contributed to the formation of professional social work conception in the following contexts. It had contributed to the conception formation of professional social work within the social workers; it introduced ideas and methods of social work and supplied practice fields for the social workers. Its contribution to introduce and to practice professional social work should be appreciated properly in Korean social work history. But at the same time, foreign voluntary agencies including USCC, had contributed the formation of lay conception of social work. Their major missions were still the one rather than professional social work itself. They had practiced charity, philantrophy and relief work. Therefore Koreans in general considered their work as social work. A practical implication of this findings could be summarized as follows; a need to understand the existence of dual conceptions of social work and to resolve the tensions between the two conceptions of social work. Much efforts to develop the professional social work should be pursued, and at the same time much more energy must be exerted to diffuse the conception of professional social work towards the general public.
