Objectives : This study is planned to classify correlation between thoracic kyphosis angle and prevalence of cervical intervertebral disc. Methods : We Measured the thoracic kyphosis angel of the 110 men and 179 women patients with neck pain in 00 Korean Medicine Hospital. We use Cobb's angle method and Thoracic cage dimension method for measuring the thoracic kyphosis. And We use Magentic Resonance Imaging(MRI) for classifying the patient who has cervical intervertebral disc or not. Results : 1. There was statistical difference on the thoracic cage dimension with gender(P<0.001), while there was no statistical difference on Cobb's angle with gender(P=0.882). 2. Age and thoracic cage dimension(r=0.383) is statistically more correlative than age and cobb's angle(r=-0.59). Conclusions : 1. Thoracic cage dimension and gender, Thoracic cage dimension and age were statistically concerned on patient who has neck pain, while Cobb's angle had no statistical correlation with age and gender. 2. There was no statistical difference on the Cobb's angle and Thoracic cage Dimension between patient who has one or more cervical disc herniation(Protrusion disc, Extrusion disc) segment and patient who didn't have cervical disc herniation(Protrusion disc, Extrusion disc) segment.

삼차원 심층 콘볼루션 신경망을 이용한 컴퓨터 단층 촬영 영상 내 폐 결절 분류

전 세계 암 발병의 큰 비중을 차지하는 폐암을 조기에 예방하기 위해서는 폐 결절을 찾아내 악성 여부를 검사해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 삼차원 시층 콘볼루션 신경망을 이용해 결절의 악성 여부를 판단하는 모델을 제안한다. 숏컷 연결을 이용한 모델을 사용했고, 분류 성능 향상을 위해 앙상블 기법을 이용한다. 본 모델을 LUng Nodule Analysis 2016 대회 데이터에 적용하여 모델의 성능을 측정하고 정확도를 검증한다. 본 모델은 대회의 평가 지표인 Competition Performance Metric 기준 0.899를 기록하였고, 이는 기존 참가자들의 성능과 비교하였을 때 우수한 결과이다. Early detection and examination of pulmonary nodules is the most effective ways to prevent lung cancer, accounting for more than a quarter of all cancer deaths. In this paper, we propose a 3D deep convolutional neural network for pulmonary nodule recognition. We use deep convolutional neural network that uses shortcut connections and the ensemble method is used to boost recognition performance. Proposed models are trained and tested on Lung Nodule Analysis 2016 competition dataset. We evaluate performance of models and verify preciseness. Proposed model produces 0.899 of Competition Performance Metric value, that is evaluation criteria of competition. It is outperforming value than that of other participants.

논문 : 임진왜란과 절의정신의 表儀에 대한 小考 ―의성김씨 퇴암(문학)공파의 순절과 창의를 중심으로―

임란 최초 의병전투의 始原地였던 김해성전투에서 순절한 金得器와趙憲과 靈圭大師의 금산전투에서 순절한 金善復그리고 호남 창의장 忠剛公金齊閔과 아들 셋. 의성김씨 퇴암(문학)공파 후손인 이들의 義를 조명하며 크게 두 가지 부분에 중점을 두고 논의를 하고 있다. 첫째, 임란 의병 始原地는 4월 22일 郭再祐의 의령이 아니고, 4월 19일 시작하여 4월 20일까지 官이 빠지고 民이 주체가 된 김해성이라는 것이다. 그리고 금산전투는 趙憲의 의병들과 靈圭大師와 천여 명의 승병이 함께 순절했으니 700의총이 아니고 1700의총으로 바로 잡아야 한다는 것이다. 둘째, 우리나라 의리사상은 유교가 정착되면서 더욱 고조되어 충절과 신의를 중요시하는 선비정신이 큰 자리를 차지하고 있다. 선비는 도덕적 양심에 따라 義를 실천하며, 선비가 지향하는 참된 가치는 지위와 생존을 넘어서는 인격성에 있다. 공자는 "뜻있는 선비와 어진사람은 살기 위하여 인을 해치지 않고 살신하여 仁을 이룬다."라고 하였다. 맹자도 선비는 恒産이 없어도 恒心을 유지하는 사람으로서 생명을 버리더라도 義를 선택하는 강한 신념이 있는 사람이라고 하였다. 이러한 志氣의 의리사상이 외세의 침략에 직면 했을 때, 義에 대한 가치관을 先代와 같이 창의와 순절로 실현한 의성김씨 퇴암(문학)공파를 살펴보았다. 이는 물질만능주의의 21세기 현대사회에서 우리에게 한 가문의 살아있는 의리사상의 가치와 전승은 어떤 의미를 주고 있는 건지 생각해 보는 기회를 가지는 것이다. 지금 우리 사회가 필요로 하는 法古創新의 민족정신 원동력으로서 가정윤리와 사회정의가 살아 있는 시대가 되도록 以善及人의 교훈이 되기를 바란다. Notable is that The Uiseong(義城) Kims family of the Munhak peerage relative(文學公派) descendant had more sacrifice themselves than other parentage to preserve their honor and nation in Kyungsang, Chungchen, Jeonla district when Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592. We can find three type`s sacrifice their life for their country which are Kim deuk gi(金得器) in kimgae(金海) the first place of army raised in the cause of justice, Kim seonbok(金善復) in keumsan(錦山) the place of an army in the cause of justice Joheon(趙憲) and Younggyu(靈圭)`s all died for their country and Kim jemim(金齊閔) and his three sons raised an army in the cause of justice in Jeonla province(湖南). Kim an(金晏) the youngest of his sons engaged in warfare, laid down his life for his country as well as redounded to the credit of theirs clan. I have talked about these dying for their country, placing emphasis on two substance. For one thing, we must reconsider the first place of army raised in the cause of justice in kimhae(金海) combat without the government troops and the day of 19th, 20th on April not Uiryung(宜寧) the day of 22th on April according to the historical material. One more thing, In keumsan(錦山) combat is not the army in the cause of justice Joheon(趙憲)`s 700 all died for their country where being partner of Younggyu(靈圭)`s 1,000 also all died for their country. We have to find this fault and put it right. The 2nd, There is a advance the principles of righteousness early in Korea. Confucian ideas settling down in the these thought, Fidelity to one`s principles became the ruler of the country. Classical scholar lives up to his faith and carries his philosophy into action according to ethical conscience. Classical scholar who spent his whole life in pursuit of personality development beyond the confines high social standing and the aim of life. Confucius say on this subject "The determined scholar and the man of virtue will not seek to live at the expence of injuring their virtue. They will even sacrifice their lives to preserve their virtue complete." Mencius propagated Confucian doctrines. Though classical scholar lay down his life with the honest spirit of literati-scholars without fixed property, He will complete the righteousness. In the face of crisis for the nation, Fidelity to one`s principles which laid down his life for his country prove one`s real worth as driving force of overcoming the national crisis. I studied a matter in its aspects of The Uiseong(義城) Kims family of the Munhak peerage relative(文學公派) descendant take possession carrying those precepts into practice during the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592. The shared values and a common mission which is the classical scholar lay down his life with the honest spirit of literati-scholars without fixed property from their forefather of the Goryeo dynasty to them of the Joseon Dynasty. This is the opportunity to think about the transmission of KIms sacrifice their life for their country from generation to generation. These are good lessons from this story in this mammonism society. This is not an outdated historical event. By trying to find a guide into tomorrow by taking lessons from the past. This will be a good lesson to us as driving force of the realization of a just society and reinforce ethics all of the home by one and one.

Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is an unpredictable, acute inflammatory systemic condition that involves injury to the skin, mucous membranes, and bowel and respiratory epithelium. Pulmonary complications are often observed and usually show an acute form. However, chronic pulmonary complications are rare and little is known about the clinical manifestations. We herein report a 51-year-old woman who presented with chronic pulmonary complications after recovery from TEN. A diagnosis of chronic bronchiolitis obliterans was made with upper respiratory tract obstruction and bronchiectasis. (Korean J Dermatol 2009;47(9):1034∼1038)

Does social protection crowd out social investment?:

In this era of austerity, while there are significant fiscalpressures on social protection programs particularly on cash benefits, there is increasing rhetoric concerning the social investment turn. Yet, some scholars question whether social investment policies are actually expanding. The evidence is not sufficiently apparent, and others question whether social protection policies have actually crowded out social investment policies. So far, few systematic studies have examined this issue. This research aims to explore the effect of traditional social protection on social investment policies in 18 OECD countries from 1980 to 2010. To investigate the predictive and causal relationships between the two types of policies, we will use the Granger panel analysis. Then, we will adopt the Beck & Katz panel model to analyze the crowding-out effect that social protection policies have on social investment. We argue that social protection has not crowded out social investment policies in general but, rather, that the positive link between them is increasingly weaker in recent years. In the end, we discuss the theoretical and policy implications of our findings.

Eccrine porocarcinoma is an uncommon malignant skin appendage tumor that is thought to evolve from the intraepidermal segment of the eccrine sweat duct. It usually affects elderly patients in both sexes and it is usually found on the lower extremities and the head. We report here on a case of eccrine porocarcinoma that showed squamous differentiation, and this developed on the palm of a 71-year-old woman. Wide excision and secondary intention were performed successfully and there was no recurrence at 6 months of postoperative follow up. (Korean J Dermatol 2009;47(7):861~864)

Granulomatous rosacea is considered as the only true rosacea variant. Granuloma formation is a histologic feature of this condition. The clinical features of granulomatous rosacea include yellow-brown or red papules or nodules that are monomorphic and located on the cheeks and periorificial facial skin. The background facial skin is otherwise normal. Other signs and symptoms of rosacea are not required to make a diagnosis of granulomatous rosacea. We report on a case of granulomatous rosacea that was localized on the both eyelids as an unusual clinical presentation. (Korean J Dermatol 2010;48(5):413~415)

시설하우스 외피복재 종류에 따른 참외과실의 성분 함량

참외의 저온기 무가온 시설재배에서 원적외선 흡수율이나 무적성 등의 물리적 특성을 향상시킨 필름 피복이 참외 과실품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 과실 성분을 조사하였다. 일반 PE필름과 기능성이 추가 된 5가지의 필름을 6동의 하우스에 피복하여 성주지역 2곳에 각각 설치한 후 재배하였다. 하우스 내부 온도는 높은 적외선 흡수를 보였던 필름인 J-l과 J-2에서 K-3에 비해 약 2~5℃정도 높았다. 과실의 β-carotene 함량과 당함량은 기능성 필름과 일반필름에서 유의성 있는 차이를 보여 J-l, J-2, J-3 및 K-l에서 높게 나타났는데 이것은 필름의 특성에 따른 보온효과 때문인 것으로 생각된다. 성숙후 단맛을 좌우하는 sucrose 함량도 기능성 필름에서 높았는데 이로 인해 당도도 향상되는 결과를 보였다. Ascorbic acid 함량은 투광량과 보온성이 낮은 K-2에서 더 높은 경향을 보였고 무기원소 함량은 처리 간에 차이가 없었다. 이상의 결과는 참외의 저온기 단동 하우스재배에서 보온성과 투광성을 향상시킨 필름을 피복함으로써 참외 과실의 품질을 일부 개선할 수 있음을 시사하였다. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of functional cover film on oriental melon fruit quality under unheated plastic greenhouse cultivation in cold period. The 6 kind of films having different characteristics were covered at plastic greenhouses and oriental melon seedlings were cultivated at 2 regions of Seongju, respectively. The air-temperatures in plastic greenhouses of J-1 and J-2, having high infrared absorption rate, were about 2~5℃ higher than K-3. The contents of β-carotene and sugar of fruit showed significant difference between functional and normal films. The sucrose, determining a sweetness during maturation, and soluble solids content of fruits cultivated in J-1, J-2, J-3, and K-1 were higher than those of K-2 and K-3. Ascorbic acid of fruits was highest in K-2 having low light transmission rate and thermo-keeping capacity. There was no significant difference in mineral content among all of cover films. These results indicated that the use of functional greenhouse covering films could improve fruit quality such as β-carotene and sugar content of oriental melon.
