A conduction-cooled superconducting magnet system is developed for material separation. The superconducting magnet for material separation has to be designed to have a strong magnetic field in a control volume. Since the magnetic field gradient is larger at the end rather than at the center of the magnet, we developed a design method to optimize the superconducting magnet for material separation. The safety of the superconducting magnet is evaluated, taking into account the electro-magnetic field, heat and structure. The superconducting coil is successfully wound by the wet-winding method. The superconducting coil is installed in a cryostat maintaining high vacuum, and cooled down to approximately 4 K by a two-stage GM cryocooler. The performance of the conduction-cooled superconducting magnet system is discussed with respect to the supplied current, cooling medium and cooling power of a cryocooler.

Performance of a VM heat pump is considerably affected by various losses, such as enthalpy dump, reheat loss, pumping loss, conduction loss and shuttle loss. A second-order analysis model of VM heat pumps, which allows consideration of the major losses, was presented. Actual heat transfer rates for heat exchangers were calculated from the heat transfer rates obtained by the adiabatic analysis and various losses. New effective temperatures of heat exchangers were calculated from the actual heat transfer rates and the mean heat transfer coefficients until there was no appreciable change in the effective temperatures. Effects of design parameters, such as phase angle, swept volume ratio, regenerator length and speed on heating capacity, cooling capacity and COP were shown.

The design of thermal radiation shield cooled by a cryocooler is presented. This study is motivated mainly by our recent development of prototype superconducting magnet system for the Cyclotron K120. The superconducting magnet system is composed of the magnet cryostat, transfer line and supply cryostat. In order to minimize thermal radiation load, the superconducting coil form in the magnet cryostat is enclosed by the thermal radiation shield which is thermally connected to the first-stage cold head of a two-stage cryocooler in the supply cryostat. Since the supply cryostat is located far from the magnet cryostat large temperature gradient along the thermal shield is unavoidable. In this paper, the thermal radiation shield is optimized to minimize temperature gradient with taking into account the cryogenic load, system structure and electrical load. The effect of heat source from thermal conduction through mechanical supports on the temperature distribution of thermal radiation shield is also discussed.
배터리없는 무선 스위치를 위한 에너지 하베스팅 메커니즘의 특성 연구

산업현장에서 사용되는 무선 비상호출 스위치의 성공적인 운영을 위해서는 지속적인 전원의 공급이 이루어져야 한 다. 본 논문은 배터리가 필요 없는 무선 스위치에 적용할 수 있는 전자기 유도방식의 초소형 에너지 하베스팅 메커니즘 개발 및 구현된 메커니즘의 성능 실험 결과를 보여주고 있다. 연구결과로 단 방향 누름 동작과 2mm 이동거리의 제한조건 내에서, 유도기전력을 생성하는 새로운 메커니즘이 제시됐다. 또한, 구현된 메커니즘의 전자기 유도 발전 출력 성능 실험결과로 VDC 4.5V±25%(도달시간 1.2msec), 2.5V 이상 전압의 발전시간이 65ms가 됨을 보여주고 있다. Wireless emergency call switch used in industry, the most important thing is the sustainable power supply. This paper describes the development and performance test results of a compact electromagnetic energy harvesting mechanism for batteryless wireless switch. This paper summarizes proposed structure design and magnetic field analysis results of the mechanism to generate an induced electromotive force using 2mm stroke of a single push action. This analysis results show the power output of the proposed mechanism up to VDC 4.5 ±25% and it can hold up to 65ms of the power generation with greater than 2.5V.
빌딩자동화시스템을 위한 REST기반의 게이트웨이 구현에 관한 연구

In order to minimize the cost of building and operating the BAS web service, and to integrate various wireless sensor networks, mobile devices, and control facilities applied to the BAS into one organic system, research on a gateway platform providing economy and openness is needed. In this paper, we derive BAS Web service based on lightweight REST for solving communication overhead problem of SOAP which is a web technology applied to existing BAS, and a gateway platform study to economically implement web service. It also shows BAS RESTful Web service results based on an open and economical gateway platform implemented through research in a test environment composed of various wireless sensor networks, BACnet devices, BAS server, and mobile BAS App. The implication of this study is that the application of REST based gateway implemented in BAS which has limited resource characteristics shows WoT implementation that connects objects through the web economically and integration possibility to low level of heterogeneous devices.
