      • 지구-달 운동 모형을 활용한 천문 교육

        지구와 달의 운동은 2011 개정 초등 과학과 교육과정에서 다루어지고 있다. 지구와 달의 운동은 시공간적 제한으로 학생들이 직접 관찰할 수 없기 때문에 여러 모형을 활용한 실험이 이루어지고 있다. 여기에서는 지구와 달의 운동 모형을 통해서 학생들이 할 수 있는 실험을 개발하고 그 가능성을 탐색해 보았다.

        STEAM 프로그램의 초등학교 차시 대체 적용을 위한 개발 방안 모색에 대한 사례 연구

        This study is to develop a subject substitute STEAM program which can be applied instead of classes in school field and to seek development plan of a subject substitute STEAM program based on that. The program was developed by experts on science education and teachers who participated in developing STEAM program business conducted by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity and one 6th grade located in small and medium city was chosen for application. As a result, the subject substitute STEAM program attracted students' interest and helped to understand for them. In addition, the development plan was found that teachers' participation is very important, an inquiry activity related to real life is to be included and enough activity time is helpful in students' understanding, when developing a subject substitute STEAM program.

        국민학교 학생들의 별에 대한 유년적 사고

        Students often held naive theories based on their experiences, observations, textbooks, reference books, television programs, and cultural background rather than scientific theories before their school. Concepts, properties, and apparent movements about stars were investigated. Students consisted of one hundred forty eight 5th-grade students and one hundred seventy four 6th-grade students. Research method was paper-pencil test. Naive theories about stars were numerous. For example, many students thought that earth, moon, venus, meteors, and comets are stars, but sun is not. Also, many students thought that stars look like fir. This study was also discussed the teaching strategies to overcome these naive theories.

        내러티브 탐구를 통한 초등 교과서에 수록된 외국 발명가 5인의 창의성 요소, 가정환경, 부모 양육방식 분석

        A talented person in a knowledge based society is the person who has ability to create intellectual property value. This intellectual property comes from invention. According to several researches, invention and creativity have a strong correlation. And a manifestation of creativity is related to family background and parenting styles of a student. This narrative research is to understand creativity factor, family background and parenting styles of five foreign inventors in elementary textbooks. As a result of study, all of the inventors had intellectual curiosity, originality and sophistication. And despite economically difficult environment, they grew up in houses where gives an educational opportunity and their relationships with family members were good. Also at least one of their parents supported their decision and they participated in the education for their children.

        학생 활동 중심의 초등학교 과학 교과서 모형 개발 및 적용 : ‘지구와 우주’ 영역을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to develop the student-centered elementary science textbook model and explore the applicability of the school. For this study we conducted a literature survey and analysis of domestic and foreign books, surveys, and then developed a textbook model of student-centered instruction. We have selected the three elementary school, three grades, fifty-seven students to apply the model developed textbooks. Textbook model of Earth was developed as a center of student activity. Applying the results of development of textbooks in the field, students were interested about the student-centered textbooks and they were felt that the development of textbooks were textbook that students can study on their own. Through this research it could confirm that it should be provided feedback to causes of the reflective thinking of students in the textbook for the development of student-centered textbook.

        '흐르는 강' 에 대한 CAI 프로그램 개발 및 그 프로그램이 초등학생들의 개념변화에 미치는 효과

        This study is intended to develop a CAI program on the topic of flowing rivers and to investigate how 4th grade students' concepts of it change through this program. The CAI program is made using the GREAT II copyright tool based on a typical 4th grade science Korean textbook. This program consists of 5 sections, which are introduction, rain waters, cunning waters, river waters, and activity. All contents are animated. Students are 30 4th grade students. One instrument is used how to investigate the concept change of the flowing rivers, The instrument is called the Identification of Flowing River Concept Test(IFRCT, Appendix), which is of a two-tier type and has 8 items. Data are collected before and after the instruction using this program. Data are classified as a scientific model, a naive model, or a $quot;no$quot; model, based on criteria used by Vosniadou(1989). Data are compared. The results show that 4th grade students after the instruction using this program hold a more scientific model on the flowing rivers, than before the instruction using this program. Therefore, the author urges science teachers to use the CAI program to teach students about the flowing rivers.

        초등예비교사들의 계절변화 원인에 대한 질적 연구

        The purpose of this study is to observe, to analyze of the preservice teachers' theories about the change of season. And it is to find a instruction strategy which can solve problem about this. The general idea about the change of season is observed by 3 methods which are simply explaining with words, explaining with pictures and models. The author is to find the similarity, difference and relationship which the preservice teachers have about the general idea about the change of season. The important changable primary factors, which can effect to the general idea formation, are naturally dragged out through the observation of preservice teachers participation. For this study, 4 first year preservice teachers of one of national university of education are used. Before the interview, the author tries to form rapport with the preservice teachers. Experiment materials, pencil, paper, camcorder, digital recorder and interview note were used for the study with reflection of them just way they are. As the result of the interview, all of 4 preserivce teachers had not being understand the concept about the change of season and the three ways of explanation methods were not matched each other, so it is revealed that the general idea of the change of season, which the preservice teachers have, is not strongly formed. In spite of the repeated study of the change of season from elementary school to university, it has many problem about recognition of the general idea about the change of season which pre-elementary teachers have. Therefore it is needed to improve the experiment in elementary science text book and naive theories by the activity which is explaining the change of season in three dimension space, to prevent the naive theories which the preservice teachers may have.

        대학 영재원 영재선발시험의 단계별 연관성에 관한 연구 : 창의성의 일반 영역적 관점과 특수 영역적 관점에서

        This study aims to analyze a selective examination for the gifted and talented from a domain-general and special standpoint. For this, we analyzed gifted and talented test results carried out by Gifted and Talented Education institute affiliated with the university of Education located in the central region of South Korea. This test consisted of three sections which are giftedness in the first round, academic aptitude in the second round and interview in the last round. I conducted the analysis of variance of the giftedness test result to the gifted and talented group in each subject from the domain-general point of view. As a result, the each group was not significant. This means that the gifted and talented in each subject has giftedness from the domain-general viewpoint. Secondly, I implemented the analysis of correlation among three test such as giftedness, academic aptitude and interview conducted during the selective process for the gifted and talented. The result was that they had a low or no correlations between them and were not significant. This demonstrated that each test checked a different area. That is, we came to realize that the first, second and third test evaluates a different area and in particular, with the result that the first and second test had a low or no correlations between both of them we realized that they evaluated a different area from a domain-special standpoint. The purpose of this study is meaningful to investigate in terms of how the selective test for the gifted and talented is conducted from a domain-general and special standpoint as a recent study viewpoint about the gifted and talented along with creativity. It is too limited to generalize this result because this test was sampled by one region but, this study indicates that we should take a domain-general and special standpoint into account when it comes to selection for the gifted and talented.
