Lysozyme에 X선 조사는 단백질-물 혼합물의 상분리 온도를 증가시키며, 온도에 따른 광산란량은 증가하였다. 사포닌 첨가는 상분리 온도를 감소시키며, 온도에 따른 광산란량은 현저하게 감소됨을 관측하였다. Phase separation temperature of lysozyme-water mixture increased with X-ray exposure on lysozyme and decreased with impurity of saponin. The intensity of light scattering in lysozyme-water mixture with X-ray exposure on lysozyme decreased as a function as a function of temperature, and decreased with impurity of saponin.

In order to elucidate the prevalence of anti-HCV and HBsAg in liver disease patients, we examined anti-HCV and HBV markers in 359 samples from blood donors and 563 samples from liver disease patients using ELA method. The prevalence of anti-HCV in liver disease patients(12.1 %) was significantly higher than that(1.l %) of blood donors(P<0.05). Among blood donors the prevalence of anti-HCV in male(1.5 %) was not significantly higher than that(0.0%) in female. but in liver disease patients, male(14.1 %) was significantly higher than that(6.2%) in female. The positive rate of anti-HCV was significantly increased with age in liver disease patients(P<0.05), but in blood donors was not significantly. Anti-HCV was detected in 48.9 %(23/47) of hepatoma, 9.3 %(17/183) of liver cirrhosis, 8.4 %(28/333) of other chronic hepatitis. Relative risk for HBsAg was 6.98(95 % CI:4.11-11.86) in hepatoma(P<0.05). 3.60(95 % CI:2.86-4.53) in liver cirrhosis, 2.56(95 % CI: 2.10-2.88) in other chronic hepatitis. For anti-HCV, the relative risk in hepatoma was 13.45(95 % CI:8.91-20.32), in liver cirrhosis was 2.54(95 % CI:1.72-3.76), in other chronic hepatitis was 1.89(95 % CI: 1.44-2.49). These findings provide strong evidence that HCV infection is significantly correlated with hepatoma, and may even playa more important role than the hepatitis B virus.

The focus of study is to improve the seismic resistance and load-carrying capacity of reinforced concrete wide beam-column joints. A series of experiments on performances of reinforced concrete wide beam-column joints with several strengthening methods by applying steel plates were conducted under different conditions. The conclusion is as follows. Reinforced specimens and standard specimens for the comparison of experimental results, reinforcing the strength of the specimens about 2.7?30.9 %, 0.5?36.0 % degree of stiffness and energy dissipation capacity of 1.5?18.5 % accuracy, Shear of beams and columns 0.3?802.3 % higher than the degree subject was based. In comparison of the ductility, strengthened specimens showed relatively larger deformation of yield point. It was judged that the ductility of strengthened specimens didn’t change or decreased to compare with the standard specimens. To sum up the experimental results, the strengthened specimens have improved performances in terms of load-carrying capacity, member stiffness and energy dissipation capacity, it was concluded that the internal strengthening method of reinforced concrete wide beam-column joints by applying steel plates gave excellent in the improvement of the joint under seismic loads.

Second harmonic generation was measured in porous silicon superlattices surface which were made by changing and anodization current density and the anodization time periodically in the process of obtaining porous silicon. The technique of second harmonic generation is used as a probe to the surface of porous silicon superlattice by using Nd:YAG laser. We have investigated the surface structure and nonlinear-optics properties of porous silicon superlattice. 전류밀도와 에칭시간을 변화시키면서 제작된 다공질 규소 초격자의 표면에서 Nd:YAG 레이저의 제2 고조파를 발생시켰다. 이로부터 대칭구조가 바뀌고 유전율이 상승됨이 관측되었다.

새로운 기능성 과실주 개발의 일환으로 영동 지역에서 재배되고 있는 야생 머루를 이용하 머루 발효주를 제조하여 이들의 품질특성과 생리기능성을 조사하였다. 머루 발효주의 에탄올 함량은 11.0% 이었고 총산함량과 휘발산 함량은 각각 0.63%와 0.0402%이었다. 또한 총 기호도는 신맛이 살아있고 단맛이 적어 우수하였고 노화억제에 관련된 항산화 활성이 41.6% 로 우수하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 머루 발효주는 품질이 우수한 과실주로 사료된다. To develop a new functional wine, manufacture and quality characteristics of wild grape wine were investigated. Ethanol contents of wild grape wine was 11.0%, and total acidity and volatile acid content were 0.63% and 0.0402%, respectively. Antioxidant activity of the wild grape wine which is related in anti-aging functionality, was 41.6%. From this results, we concluded that the wild grape wine is a high valuable wine.

The electro-optic Q-switching device for medical high power laser depends on the relation between the population inversion and the Q-switching time. The polarization changes in applied voltage must be experimented to use each $LiNbO_3$ crystal for Q-switching in high power laser.

Only a small percentage of granulosa cell tumors metastasize, and they rarely do so to the liver. In this paper, we present a case of hepatic metastasis treated by surgery and BEP combination chemotherapy, with a brief review of corresponding literatures.

임계 혼합물인 Lysozyme 과 물의 임계온도 근처에서 임계현상을 연구하였다. 자기유도 타원편광축회전에 의한 제3차 비선형 광학감수율을 상전이 온도 근처에서 측정하였으며, 불순물인 소금의 양의 증가는 상전이온도를 높이고 글리세롤 양이 증가함으로서 상전이 온도가 감소함을 관측하였다. The critical behavior was studied in the mixture of lysozyme and salt water near the phase separation temperature. The 3rd order nonlinear optical susceptibility was measured through the self-induced ellipse rotation. And we obsered that as the quantity of salt and glycerol increase, the phase separation temperature increases and decreases, respectively.
차동속도선택 포화흡수분광법에서 펌프광과 조사광의 최적 각도

펌프광과 조사광이 공간적으로 떨어져 있는 경우에 포화흡수 분광신호가 지수함수적으로 감소하는 이유를 설명하였다. 수파수 안정화에 이용되는 차동포화흡수 분광신호에서 최대의 신호광에 대한 이론적으로 계산한 결과 최적 각도는 세슘원자는 $1.33^{\circ}$이고, 루비듐$87^{\circ}$은 경우 $1.08^{\circ}$이었으며, 실험결과와 일치하였다. Exponential decrease of saturation absorption signal was reported in pump beam spacially keeping off from probe beam. Optimum angle between pump beam and probe beam in the differential-velocity-selective saturation absorption spectroscopy was computed theoretically, $1.33^{\circ}$ in cesium atoms and $1.08^{\circ}$ in Rb 87 atoms, and was good agreement with the experimental results.
