This study intends to 1)conform the possibility to transform the enumerated scheme into the faceted scheme, 2)review general theories on facet structure employed in DDC 780, and 3) analyze the facet structure of music. Findings are 1) The facet structure of DDC synthesize the standard subdivisions or specific facet indicators with basic facet. 2) facet indicator 0 is in use to indicate standard subdivision or general principle of music. and facet indicator 1 to general principles and musical forms. DDC has transformed the entire system into the facet structure through its revisions. Especially the music transformed into the facet structure employes the facet indicators and applies them to all the systems in music. But the notation have sometimes twofold meanings, and no ability to differentiate the meanings in the same notation.

Time(Period table) is the chronological factor in a subject. Classification schemes are using the period tables for represent the time. CC and UDC's common auxiliary of time tables are consistence and clear. DDC and KDC are using the different way, though the notation is complicated.

Reliability compliance tests are used to show whether or not a characteristic or property of an item complies with stated reliability requirements. Most of the studies on reliability compliance tests are still concentrated on the statistical test plans. However, in the field, the practical methods for test profile development are needed deadly. This paper presents the ground rules and procedures for the test profiles and illustrates the proposed procedure through an example.

This study is to analyze and suggest the KDC's facet structure. KDC is using the Decimal Classification's facet structure. New suggestions are : Clearly use standard subdivisions and add instruction like “Add to base number ~ notation ~ from table ~"; auxiliary tables contents are need to revise and expand ; to make a add table found in schedules and provide numbers to be added to designated schedules numbers are necessary. 이 연구는 KDC의 패싯 구조를 분석하여, 앞으로 반영할 수 있는 조합식 분류체계를 제안하는 것이다. KDC는 십진식 체계들이 사용하는 조합식 구조를 수용하고 있으나, 앞으로 표준구분의 적용을 분명하게 하고, “기본기호 ~에 ~구분표의 기호~를 사용하여~구분한다”와 같은 지시를 사용하여 전개할 수 있도록 하고, 조기표의 활용 방법과 내용을 수정 확장하고, 내부 보조표를 마련하여 특정 류에 공통적으로 적용할 수 있는 구조를 도입하는 것이 바람직하다.

This study is to suggest the new ideal classification scheme of revise edition of KDC. New suggestions are : using add table, diversify of note, and expand the auxiliary tables contents, add instruction like "Add to base number$\sim$notation $\sim$from table $\sim$."
