Being adopted the Cellular Systems in Korea, the method of a radio repeater is that the mobile station(MS) can be used only in a service area of the base station(BS). In case that traffic congestion is occured around the specific BS because of an event etc., the traffic blocking rates are being maximized and the subscriber service is being dropped. To improve these problems, we propose an algorithm for a radio repeater network that distributes the traffics of the specific BS, predicted traffic congestion, to an adjacent BS by sharing a service area. And then, we confirm the valid through the simulation.

Kimchi is a Korean traditional food, which refers to the fermented vegetable product. Major ingredients and various condiments (especially, red pepper, garlic and jeotgal) are used in kimchi preparation. It is known to be an important source of vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber as well as a good dietary source of lactic acid bacteria for human. Kimchi fermentation is initiated by various microorganisms originally present in the raw materials, but the fermentation is gradually dominated by lactic acid bacteria. Analysis of the kimchi microbiota using culture-based identification method and metagenomic analysis indicated that Leuconostoc citreum, Leu. gasicomitatum, Leu. gelidum, Leu. mesenteroides, Lactobacillus sakei, and Weissella koreensis were dominant microbe in several different kimchi samples. There has been much recent interest in the use of various strains of lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi as probiotics. The characteristics of lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi as a immunomodulator that have been studied include survival in gastric conditions, colonization of the intestine, anticancer effects, stimulation of the immune system 1) proliferation of splenocytes and Peyer's patch cells, 2) production on nitric oxide (NO) by macrophages, 3) production of intestinal secretory IgA, 4) modulation of tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α and interlenkin(IL)-12 concentration, 5) production of specific IgG. This review describes diversity of lactic acid bacteria in kimchi and immunomodulatory activities of lactic acid bacteria isolated from kimchi.

We analyzed rice sample with scab (collected in 2017) for fungal occurrence and found that frequency of Fusarium spp. was the highest among fungal genera. Within Fusarium, Fusarium asiaticum-nivalenol type dominated as 79%. Among mycotoxins, zearalenone was the highest toxin detected (1117 ng/g), followed by deoxynivalenol (163 ng/g), 15-acetyl deoxynivalenol (155 ng/g), nivalenol (110 ng/g). Analysis of mycotoxin levels in scabby and healthy grains (collected in 2015) revealed that both grain samples were contaminated with zearalenone. However, level difference of zearalenone between the samples was over 5 times as the scabby samples were 1400-2370 ng/g, while healthy ones were 240-430 ng/g. This result indicates that scabby grains should be removed when harvest to reduce zearalenone contamination in rice.

This study was conducted to estimate the contents of heavy metals in salted vegetable foods fromdiverse origin in Korea which were sold in Korea. The levels of heavy metals were determined using an ICP-MS. Thevalues of metals [minimum~maximum (mean), mg/kg] in kimchi were as follows; Pb 0.0~0.074(0.018), Cd 0.0~0.027(0.004), As 0.0~0.024(0.002), Hg 0~0.002(0.0). The weekly average intakes of lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercuryfrom kimchi take 0.06~0.13% PTWI (Provisional Tolerable Weekly Intakes) that the FAO/WHO Joint Food Additiveand Contaminants Committee has set to evaluate their safeties.
발효 균주에 따른 삼채뿌리 열수추출물의 항산화능 비교연구

Allium hookeri, a member of the onion family, has long been mainly cultivated for food and medicinal use in Southeast Asian countries, owing to its various biological properties. However, no studies of the anti-oxidative effects of fermented A. hookeri root extracts have been conducted to date. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of different starter cultures on the antioxidant activities of hot water extract of A. hookeri root by using the following five strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterum longum, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus thermophilus, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activity, total phenolic acid contents, and total antioxidant capacity were higher in the hot water extract of A. hookeri root fermented with starter cultures than those of A. hookeri root. Among hot water extract of A. hookeri root fermented with starter cultures, fementing with S. cerevisiae showed the highest antioxidant activities. The results of this study provide new evidence of the anti-oxidative properties of A. hookeri root with starter cultures, indicating that it may be highly valuable as a natural product owing to its high-quality functional components.

To predict accurately an antenna radiation pattern is very important for determining of a service area, base-station location, cell design. In this paper, we have calculated a propagation prediction data of Hata, Egri, Carey, Free Space Loss model by a computer simulation in Kwang-ju downtown, and the data is compared with field test data. As a results, Hata and Egri model are approached to field test data, but considerable errors are detected.Conclusively, we believe that the most accurate prediction model must propose to improve the radio propagation environments for the specified region. For resolve these problems, we are proposed a mew experimental radio wave propagation predict model.
