The EAPS sample design follows a rotation scheme that permits the replacement of 1/36 of the households in the sample each month. A rotation group remains in the sample for a period of 36 consecutive months. We considered the AK composite estimator from EAPS and compared with the simple ratio estimator. In this result, we can get a more efficient estimate with reduced rotation group bias.

유전자 재조합 기술의 최근 동향: Recombineering을 통한 타깃 벡터 제작

유전자 적중 기술에서 핵심은 타깃 벡터를 잘 만드는 것이다. 최근 제한효소나 결합효소 없이 타깃 벡터를 제작할 수 있게 되었다. 제한효소와 결합효소들 없이 벡터 제작이 가능한 것은 바이러스 유래 단백질들이 세균 내에서 상동 재조합의 기능을 향상 시킬 수 있기 때문이다. Recombineering은 박테리오파지 λ에서 얻은 exo, bet, gam 유전자들을 이용하여 세균 내에서 외부 DNA 조각들 사이에 상동 재조합이 잘 일어나게 하는 기술이다. 이것은 타깃 벡터 제작뿐 아니라 여러 가지 용도로 응용 가능한 새로운 기술이다.

농촌 여성독거노인의 건강상태와 우울의 관계에서 사회적 자본의 조절효과

본 연구의 목적은 농촌 여성독거노인의 건강상태가 우울에 미치는 영향이 사회적 자본에 따라어떻게 달라지는지를 탐색하려 한 것이다. 연구를 위해 경상북도와 경상남도의 7개 지역에거주하고 있는 만 65세 이상 농촌 여성독거노인에 대해 설문조사하였으며, 최종적으로 302 명의 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구방법으로는 농촌 여성독거노인의 건강상태와 우울간의관계에서 사회적 자본의 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 만성질환개수와 주관적 건강상태는 우울에 영향을 미치는 주요요인으로 만성질환 개수가 많을수록, 주관적 건강상태가 부정적일수록 우울수준이 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 자본은 주관적 건강상태가 우울에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 완화하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 농촌 여성독거노인에게 사회적 자본의 필요성을 제시하였다.

2P-63 모바일 기기용 toluene-free primer 제조 및 접착특성연구

정보화 시대의 도래로 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC와 같은 모바일 기기들의 패러다임이 변화하고 있다. 전자기기들이 점차 가볍고 얇은 형태로 바뀜에 따라 점착테이프가 얇아지면서 부착력 및 내후성이 떨어지는 문제점이 있으며 또한 현재 사용하는 프라이머는 톨루엔을 함유하고 있어 이에 대한 개선을 요구 받고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 부착력 향상 및 톨루엔을 함유하지 않은 모바일 기기용 프라이머를 만들기 위해 클로로프렌 고무(CR)에 나노실리카를 분산시켜 CR/silica 복합체를 제조하였고, 이를 프라이머로 적용하여 접착특성을 고찰하였다.

Art appreciation and writing about the experience stimulates students’ cognition, allowing them to recall memories or experiences and get in touch with both their current way of thinking and unconscious emotions. Art appreciation also helps students explore their inner mindset and stimulate setting up of future goals. This study examines how art appreciation approaches can be utilized to promote cognition in first-year college students in online classes. First-year college students were asked to pick three art images, each representing their past, present, and future. Students would stop, think, recall, and imagine, then write how each image projected their past, present, and future. By choosing, seeing, reading, and writing about art, first-year students have the opportunity for self-cognition. In addition, the results provide ways in which art appreciation can be used in first-year seminar courses as well as meaningful insight into students’ emotions and thoughts during their first semester of college.

Suicide is a serious social problem in Korean and suicide-related research on adolescents and the elderly has increased. However suicide-related studies of young adults are limited despite the increased trend of youth suicide and its ripple effect. This study, examines factors associated with the suicidal ideation of young adults based on the results of the 2009 Internet Society Survey that demonstrate the impact of suicide.
