To investigate the morphology of the synovial lining cells, synovitis was induced by carrageenin injection into the rat knee joint cavities. Synovial membranes were excised at 1, 3, 5, 7 and 14 days, and histologic, electron microscopic, histochemical (periodic acid Schiff: PAS, toluidine blue), and enzyme histochemical (acid phosphatase: ACP, nonspecific esterase: NSE and endogenous peroxidase) studies were performed. The results are as follows: Carrageenin induced synovial membrane hypertrophy with synovial cell proliferation and granuloma formation. The proliferated synovial lining cells and macrophages in the granulomatous lesion had round to oval nuclei and large, plump cytoplasm with many phagocytotic materials and vacuoles. Electron microscopically, these cells had small number of granular endoplasmic reticulum and many lysosomes, phagosomes and vaculoes. Mitotic figures were observed at early stage of experiment. PAS and toluidine blue stains showed strongly positive reaction in the cytoplasm of the proliferated lining cells and macrophages in granulomatous lesion. ACP and NSE activities were strong positive in the cytoplasm of the proliferated synovial lining cells and macrophages in the granulomatous lesion. But endogenous peroxidase stains were negative in all prolifeative lining cells and macrophages in granulomatous lesion. Conclusively, carrageenin-induced synovitis showed proliferation of synovial lining cells and granuloma formation in deep layer. The macrophages, which consisted of the lesions and have active phagocytic function, were speculated to proliferate by mitosis of superficial synovial A cells and histiocytes in the deep layer of the synovial membrane.

I examine in this paper how early modern utopian literature involved European colonial imagination for the New world, and how it has historically evolved into a modem utopian novel by reading Francis Bacon`s New Atlantis and Daniel Defoe`s Robinson Crusoe, The New World plays a great role in these texts, which take the South America and the Caribbean Coast as the background of each narrative. The New Atlantis presents the South America, the neighbor country of Bacon`s utopian society of Bensalem, as plato`s “great Atlantis.” Notabaly, however, even though the image of the South America in The New Atlantis is partly overlapped with a legendary continent and that it obliquely reflects European admiration for the newly discovered land the South America is to be conquered by Bensalem and eventually would degenerate into a land of :simple and savage people,” For Bacon`s utopian project embodied in Bensalem lies in building a NEW Atlantis, where formidable and merciless science rules over knowledge, religion, and politics. The purpose of Salomon`s House (an authoritative science research institute in Bensalem) to “enlarge[e]the bounds of Human Empire, to the effecting of all things possible” also shows how Bacon`s scheme for the predomination of science over humanities, like Thomas More`s Utopia is closely related to the imperial conquest of the nature and natives of the New world. while there is a mixture of attraction and contempt about the New World in The New Atlantis and in Robinson Crusoe, a transitional work from utopian literature into the novel, the New World is imagined and represented as an almost entirely naked and savage Other that functions as a sheer object of conquest and transplantation of European culture, The Caribbean desert island in which Crusoe stays for twenty eight years essentially functions as an ``individual utopia`` a space that an individual`s desire met with on rivalry, Even when anther human being comes to his ``individual utopia`` the man who is a Caribbean native and would be called Friday would exist only as an extension of Crusoe`s aggrandized self, In other words, an individual utopia becomes a ``colonial utopia`` in Defoe`s text, Robinson Crusoe manifests how utopian literature, which was initially propelled by a longing for a better community, has been twisted and displaced into an imagination focusing on an individual in the early novel.

In this essay, I read Wuthering Heights as an answer to the generically pivotal question of the novel genre, i.e. what it is for a child to grow up. The issue of growing up or coming of an age is crucial in the novel as it is seen in the central status of Bildungsroman in the nineteenth-century European novel. Wuthering Heights foregrounds the issue of growing-up with its unequivocal focus on childhood or orphanage but it does not take the retrospective view ofa mature adult in its description of the turbulent childhood as often as it happens in most Bildungsromans. Instead, taking the naked view of children who hardly come out of themselves to understand the adult world, it tries to investigate what wecome to be deprived of as we grow up: something ontological such as solidarity or intimacy between two children or one’s narcissistic identification with the other as her/his double. Loss as a condition of growing-up is the particular focus of the first and more important generation in Wuthering Heights. Catherine and Heathcliff achieve a mysteriously close and intimate relationship in their childhood. While Hindley’s degradation of Heathcliff and Catherine’s stay and socialization at Thrushcross Grange illuminate the different class positions of them, their realization that they are two separate individual beings with two separate bodies and sexualities plays not a small role in their separate destinies. Catherine’s proclamation of “I am Heathcliff” reveals her bad faith where she believes that she could be in the same relationship with Heathcliff even when they become adults and she is married to Edgar. While the first generation story of Wuthering Heights implies that growing-up involves an ontological loss, the second generation plot holds quite a normative view that to be an adult means to be mature, to accept a given gender role, or to be reconciled with the symbolic social order. In the second part of Wuthering Heights, Catherine’s daughter voluntarily embraces the female role of care and devotion as it is obvious in her relationship with Linton Heathcliff. On the other hand, Hareton, the liminal figure of Wuthering Heights’s positive imagination, reveals that a child even in a worse condition than Heathcliff’s could hold a desire to be grow up and keep a happy family. While the second generation part unfolds a socially safe and normative view on what it is to grow up, the first generation, whose story presents an idea of growing-up as something of an ontological loss, seems to render Wuthering Heights an everlastingly unforgettable novel. Or, onecompelling feature of Wuthering Heights might lie in its status as an anti-Bildungsroman, which rarely appears in nineteenth-century European realist novels.

유아의 사회적 유능감이 학습준비도에 미치는 영향에 대한 또래놀이 상호작용의 조절효과

본 연구는 교사가 인식한 유아의 사회적 유능감과 유아의 또래놀이 상호작용이 유아의 학습준비도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 알아보고, 유아의 사회적 유능감과 유아의 학습준비도의 관계에서 유아의 또래놀이 상호작용의 조절효과를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국아동패널(Panel Study on Korean Children) 자료 중 취학 전 만5세에 해당하는 7차년도 자료의 교사 응답 자료를 사용하여 SPSS 20.0 프로그램과 Process Macro를 활용한 조절효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 사회적 유능감과 긍정적 또래놀이 상호작용, 학습준비도 간에는 유의한 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 사회적 유능감이 학습준비도의 하위 영역인 사회정서발달, 학습에 대한 태도, 의사소통, 인지발달 및 일반적 지식에 미치는 영향에 대해 또래놀이 상호작용이 조절효과가 있음이 판명되었고, 이 때 조절효과는 대립효과인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 또래놀이 상호작용의 대립적 조절효과를 밝힘으로써 유아의 사회적 유능감이 학습준비도에 미치는 영향력이 달라질 수 있는 변인을 밝히고 보다 효과적인 개입 방안을 마련하는 기초자료를 제공했다는 의의가 있다. 이를 바탕으로 사회적 유능감의 영향력에 대한 다양한 조절 변인을 검증하는 후속연구를 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of preschoolers’ social competence on School Readiness and also examine the moderating effect of preschoolers’ Peer-play Interaction on these relations using data (N=1,145) from the 7th wave of Panel Study on Korean Children. The data were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 and a significance of the moderating model was verified using Hayes(2013) PROCESS macro. The results are as follows. First, there is a significant positive correlations between preschoolers’ social competence, positive peer-play interactions, and school readiness. Second, according to the result of the interaction analysis between factors, preschoolers’ peer-play interactions moderated the effect of social competence on school readiness(socio-emotional development, attitudes to learning, communications, cognitive development and general knowledge). This study is meaningful as it verified the control effects of peer-play interactions in the relations between social competence and school readiness implying effective intervention to promote school readiness. The implication and suggestion for future research are discussed.

토마스 모어의『유토피아』와 소설의 기원 담론: "허구성"을 중심으로

Thomas More`s Utopia, which was written in the sixteenth century and has long been regarded as the first utopian literature, surprisingly matches with Michael McKeon`s now classical account of the origins of the novel. As if anticipating the dialectical development of the novel that McKeon explains, Utopia presents Morus, a character and a portrait of the public self of More the author, as a figure that believes in the traditional truth and virtue in the beginning of Book 1 (“romance idealism” “aristocratic ideology”). On the other hand, Hythlodaeus, a fictional character who asserts the supremacy of Utopia and also the narrator of Book 2, represents “naive empiricism” and “progressive ideology,” the anthesis in McKeon`s scheme; he believes in his own experiences of Utopia as the ultimate authority of truth while claiming for the inconsistency of status. Lastly, Morus takes a synthetical position of being skeptical of Hythlodaeus`s Utopia and contemporary England at once (“extreme skepticism,” “conservative ideology”). Morus` ultimate take of “extreme skepticism,” which reflects the overall epistemology of Utopia, assumes the blurring of truth (or fact) and fiction (or lie) as McKeon explains. Indeed fictionality is a key concept in Utopia and the novel genre at once. As Louis Marin argues, fictionality in Utopia is the core of utopian representation and also utopian practice since it is fictionality itself which enables the political message like the abolition of private property to be represented. According to Marin, the irreconcilable contradiction of reality, the starting point of utopian literature, can be negotiated and neutralized only in the space of fiction. Yet the fictionality of Utopia is a peculiar kind of fictionality in which a certain opposition or contradiction in reality is negotiated and neutralized, and which excludes a fantastic or escapist imagination as we see in e.g. romance. And this kind of fictionality is exactly what the genre of the novel pursues and embodies in the form of “realism” in its emerging period. Just as Utopia addresses the political through a peculiar kind of fictionality, the novel could be the leading genre of modernity with its specific kind of fictionality, i.e. realism. That said, we should remember the meaningful difference in the way of representation in utopian literature and the novel. While the novel takes “verisimilitude”, a similar rendition of reality/truth, as the principle of representation, utopian literature addresses reality only as a “missing term” which exists only inversely in the text.

농약 기준 및 위해평가 국제화를 위한 농약 가공계수 연구

본 연구는 가공계수의 기초 연구 및 자료확보를 위하여 과일 등 농산물에 대한 가공계수 국제기준 설정 현황을 비교 · 분석하였으며, 10년간의 JMPR 보고서를 조사하여 가공방법 및 가공계수를 정리하여 CODEX의 농약 기준설정에 대한 근거 자료를 조사하였다. CODEX에 등록된 230종 농약 중 가공연구가 수행된 120여종 농약을 3개년(2019~2021년)으로 나눈 다음, 연차별로 대상 식품에 대한 기준 설정 및 위해평가를 위한 섭취량 분리 및 가공계수를 제안하는 요약서 작성을 수행하였다. Maleic hydrazide의 감자에 대한 가공연구는 삶음, 오븐조리, chip에 대한 연구가 제출되어 가공계수는 각각 0.52, 1.2, 0.92로 나타났으며 위해평가에 사용하였으며, fenamiphos는 토마토, 오랜지, 사과, 포도, 파인애플에 대한 가공연구가 제출되어 각 농산물별 위해평가에 사용 가능한 가공계수는 토마토 주스 0.88, 토마토 케첩 0.58, 오렌지 주스 0.28, 사과 주스 0.78, 건포도 1.22, 파인애플 주스 1.19 이였다. Parathion의 가공계수는 각각 사과 주스 0.072, 포도 주스 0.09, 건포도 0.35, 옥수수가루 0.68, 옥수수 정제유 2.4, 백미 0.46, 수수가루 0.4, 밀가루 0.35, 해바리기씨 정제유 0.42, 면실 0.014으로 나타났으며, pyrethrins는 오렌지 주스 <0.66, 건포도 <0.48, 포도 주스 <0.48, 토마토 퓨레 <0.52, 토마토 주스 <0.52로 가공계수가 산출되었다. 또한, paraquat는 감자, 옥수수, 수수, 해바라기씨에 대한 연구가 되었으며 각 농산물별 가공계수는 감자 crips >0.95, 옥수수가루 1.5, 옥수수 정제유 <0.25, 수수가루 0.14, 해바라기씨 정제유 <0.05로 나타났다. Pirimiphos-methyl의 가공계수는 밀가루 0.17, 빵 0.097이었으며, trinexapac-ethyl은 밀가루 0.43이었으며, flonicamid은 사과 주스 3.7, 복숭아 통조림 0.7, 복숭아 주스 0.8, 복숭아 잼 0.7, 토마토 페이스트 16.1, 감자 chips 0.95, 유채씨 정제유 0.1이었으며, boscalid는 오렌지 주스 <0.23, 사과 주스 0.08, 포도 주스 0.42, 와인 0.35, 건포도 2.5, 토마토 주스 0.15, 토마토 페이스트 0.73, 대두 정제유 0.42, 밀가루 0.34, 딸기 잼 0.44, 오이피클 0.52, 당근 주스 <0.12, 당근 통조림 <0.12, 옥수수 정제유 6.0, 유채씨 정제유 1.29로 가공계수가 산출되었다. 또한, 국내 가공계수 산출 대상 농산물인 쌀을 가공 중 농약 감소율을 분석하여 대 국민 홍보자료로 사용하기 위하여 쌀에 농약을 침지하여 실험을 진행하였다. 침지한 현미를 세척, 취반으로 가공하였으며 현미를 도정하여 백미를 세척, 취반, 백설기, 죽, 쌀과자, 뻥튀기로 가공 후 가공계수를 산출하였다. 백설기, 죽, 쌀과자, 뻥튀기는 가공 중 잔류량 변화를 알아보기 위하여 가공 단계별 시료를 채취하여 분석을 진행하였다. 가공계수를 산출한 결과, buprofezin은 현미를 3회 세척하였을 때 0.6, 백미는 0.5로 나타났으며, 현미밥 0.4, 백미밥 0.1, 백설기 0.01, 죽 0.01, 쌀과자 0.01로 산출되었다. Tebufenozide는 3회 세척 시 현미에서 0.4, 백미 0.3으로 나타났으며, 현미밥 0.3, 백미밥 0.1, 백설기, 죽, 쌀과자는 모두 0.01로 산출되었다. Etofenprox의 경우, 3회 세척 시 현미에서 0.4, 백미 0.3으로 나타났으며 현미 밥 0.3, 백미밥 0.1, 백설기 0.02, 죽과 쌀과자는 0.01로 가공계수가 산출되었다, Flubnediamide는 3회 세척 시 현미 0.4, 백미 0.3으로 나타났으며, 현미밥 0.2, 백미밥 0.1,백설기 0.02, 죽과 쌀과자 0.01 로 산출되었다. 따라서 4종 농약은 세척 및 가열 가공으로 인하여 농약이 분해 및 제거되는 것으로 나타났다.

사용자 경험(UX) 관점에서 본 SPA 브랜드 앱의 리텐션 마케팅: 자라 재입고 알림 서비스의 디지털 넛지 분석

연구목적: 본 연구는 SPA 브랜드 앱의 재입고 알림 서비스에서 활용되는 디지털 넛지 요소가 사용자의 행동과 구매의도 의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 특히, 알림 시점의 적절성, 정보의 명확성, 맞춤 정보, 구매 만족도 등 디지털 넛지의 구체적인 구성 요소가 사용자 행동에 미치는 개별적인 영향력을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 연구는 양적 분석을 중심으로 진행되었으며, 자라 앱의 재입고 알림 서비스 이용 경험이 있는 사용자 100명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 디지털 넛지 요소(알림 시점의 적절성, 정보 명확성, 맞춤 정보, 구매 만족도)와 사용자 행동 의도(앱 재이용 의도, 지속 사용 의도, 추천 의도)를 측정하는 문항으로 구성되었으며, 수집된 데이터는 회귀 분석을 통해 각 요소가 사용자 행동 의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과: 정보 명확성은 앱 재이용 의도와 지속 사용 의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 맞춤 정보는 앱 추천 의도에 가장 큰 영향을 미쳐, 개인화된 정보 제공이 타인에게 앱을 추천하는 데 중요한 요인으로 작용함을 확인 하였다. 구매 만족도는 앱 지속 사용 및 재이용 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 알림 시점의 적절성은 상대적으로 낮은 영향력을 보였다. 결론: 연구 결과는 디지털 넛지 설계 시, 사용자 행동 목적에 따라 정보 명확성, 맞춤 정보, 구매 만족도 등 핵심 요소를 차별화하여 적용하는 것이 효과적임을 시사한다. 특히, 앱의 지속적인 사용을 유도하기 위해서는 정보 명확성에, 앱 추천을 활성화하기 위해서는 맞춤 정보 제공에 중점을 둔 UX 설계가 필요함을 제안한다. Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of digital nudge factors utilized in the restock notification service of SPA brand apps on users' behavior and purchase intention. Specifically, it seeks to analyze the individual effects of specific components of digital nudges, such as the timeliness of notifications, clarity of information, personalized information, and purchase satisfaction, on user behavior. Methods: This research employs a quantitative analysis approach, and an online survey was conducted with 93 users who have experience using the restock notification service of the Zara app. The survey questionnaire consisted of questions measuring digital nudge factors (timeliness of notifications, clarity of information, personalized information, purchase satisfaction) and user behavior intentions (app reuse intention, continued use intention, recommendation intention). The collected data was analyzed using regression analysis to determine the effect of each factor on user behavior intentions. Results: The results indicate that clarity of information has the most significant impact on app reuse intention and continued use intention. Personalized information exerts the greatest influence on app recommendation intention, confirming that providing personalized information is a crucial factor in users' decisions to recommend the app to others. Purchase satisfaction positively affects users' intention to continue using and reuse the app, while the timeliness of notifications shows a relatively weaker influence. Conclusion: In conclusion, the study suggests that when designing digital nudges, it is effective to differentiate and apply key factors such as clarity of information, personalized information, and purchase satisfaction according to the purpose of user behavior. In particular, for encouraging continued app usage, emphasis should be placed on clarity of information, and for promoting app recommendations, UX design should focus on providing personalized information.
