The 3D printing process provides a higher degree of freedom when designing ceramic parts than the conventional press forming process. However, the generation and growth of the microcracks induced during heat treatment is thought to be due to the occurrence of local tensile stress caused by the thermal decomposition of the binder inside the green body. In this study, an alumina columnar specimen, which is a representative ceramic material, is fabricated using the digital light process (DLP) 3D printing method. DTG analysis is performed to investigate the cause of the occurrence of microcracks by analyzing the debinding process in which microcracks are mainly generated. HDDA of epoxy acrylates, which is the main binder, rapidly debinded in the range of 200 to 500℃, and microcracks are observed because of real-time microscopic image observation. For mitigating the rapid debinding process of HDDA, other types of acrylates PETA, PUA, and MMA are added, and the effect of these additives on the debinding rate is investigated. By analyzing the DTG in the 25 to 300℃ region, it is confirmed that the PETA monomer and the PUA monomer can suppress the rapid decomposition rate of HDDA in this temperature range.

Nicephorus II Phocas implemented a policy of expanding the border to eastern Asia Minor with military reforms in the mid-10th century. This policy also has the meaning of restoring the lost land, but in a practical sense it means establishing a stabler line of defense around the mountainous regions of eastern Asia Minor. In the 830s, the border line between the Taurus and Antitaurus was expanded to the border line between Northern Syria and Northern Mesopotamia because it was conscious of not only the Hamdan dynasty but also the newly expanding the Buyid dynasty and the Fatimid Caliphate. In addition, the policy expanded the border expansion policy of John Kourkouas in the first half of the 10th century. It also took economic advantage by occupying more cities located on the Syrian coast. 10세기 중반 니케포로스 2세 포카스는 군사개혁과 함께 소아시아 동부로 국경 확장정책을 실시하였다. 이 정책은 잃어버린 고토회복이라는 의미도 갖고 있지만, 실질적인 의미에서는 소아시아 동부지역의 산악지대를 중심으로 방어선을 더욱 안정적으로 구축하는 것을 의미한다. 830년대의 타우로스-안티타우로스 산맥을 잇는 국경선을 시리아 북부-메소포타미아 북부를 잇는 국경선으로국경선을 확장시킨 이유는 함단조 뿐만 아니라 새롭게 팽창하는 부이조와 파티마조를 의식했기 때문이다. 또한 이 정책은 10세기 전반 쿠르쿠아스의 국경 확장정책을 조금 더 확대한 것으로 시리아 해안지역에 위치한 여러 도시들을 더점령함으로써 경제적인 이익도 취했다.
생성형 AI 기반 고위험 시나리오 생성을 통한 자율주행 레이싱 시스템 안전성 평가 프레임워크

. This paper introduces a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based safety evaluation framework for autonomous racing systems, focusing on efficiently searching safety-critical racing scenarios utilizing domain knowledge, optimization, and machine learning. The proposed framework consists of three main phases: 1) dataset generation, 2) conditional variational auto-encoder (CVAE) model training, and 3) safety-critical scenario generation and evaluation. In the first phase, the dynamic scenario generation is automatically processed by leveraging ontological domain knowledge and genetic algorithm to efficiently establish a potentially safety-critical driving dataset. In the second phase, we train the CVAE network with the driving dataset generated from the first phase, allowing for diverse and realistic variations in driving scenarios. In the final phase, safety-critical scenarios are generated through the trained CVAE network by adversarially variating the scenarios. Experimental results show that the proposed framework identifies various safety-critical scenarios in different racing conditions, exhibiting its effectiveness for safety evaluation of autonomous racing systems.

In the development of advanced ceramic tools, material improvements and design freedom are critical in improving tool performance. However, in the die press molding method, many factors limit tool design and make it difficult to develop innovative advanced tools. Ceramic 3D printing facilitates the production of prototype samples for advanced tool development and the creation of complex tooling products. Furthermore, it is possible to respond to mass production requirements by reflecting the needs of the tool industry, which can be characterized by small quantities of various products. However, many problems remain in ensuring the reliability of ceramic tools for industrial use. In this study, alumina inserts, a representative ceramic tool, was manufactured using the digital light process (DLP), a 3D printing method. Alumina inserts prepared by 3D printing are pressurelessly sintered under the same conditions as coupon-type specimens prepared by press molding. After sintering, a hot isostatic pressing (HIP) treatment is performed to investigate the effects of relative density and microstructure changes on hardness and fracture toughness. Alumina inserts prepared by 3D printing show lower relative densities than coupon specimens prepared by powder molding but indicate similar hardness and higher fracture toughness values.
