        광주 지역 노후아파트 리모델링을 위한 계획 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate remodelling that meets the characteristics, intention and needs of antiquated apartment in Gwangju. For this study, firstly, we observed the current status and residents of old-aged apartments and attempted interview. Secondly, we used ethnographical interview of participating and observation methods based on cultural anthropology. The needed for this study was obtained by the questionnaires with 273 answer sheet. The data analyzing method was the statistic program SPSS. This study targeted more than 10-year-old seven apartment complexes which had above 10 stories. In respect of other needs of remodelling, it was very difficult to obtain uniform remodeling on which the whole residents agreed. As old-aged apartment could not be remodelled uniformly, remodeling types should be specified according to different complexes, buildings and units. Joint plans should be prepared for buildings or common space according to different steps of aging before joint remodelling and houses should be individually or jointly remodelled after joint plan is prepared. Current apartment remodelling is designed to increase economic values, but remodelling is more necessary for the residents with low-income. So, financial burden should be minimized and gradually remodelling apartment for improvement of residential environment is to be preferred.

        전남농촌지역에 입지한 종가자원 현황과 활용의식 연구

        This study aims to investigate and analyze the utilization perception of members of head families based on a survey on the history, folklore, architectural resources of head families. In order to identify the direction of utilization of Jeonnam head family resources, tangible and intangible resources, and spaces and places to contain programs were researched. The results of the study were summarized as follows. 1) Head family houses in Jeonnam could be categorized into head families that preserved the original form of head family houses, head families that preserved a part of head family houses, head families that newly built head family houses while the original forms thereof have disappeared, and relocated head families of which eldest grandsons no longer reside, where only the sites of the head family houses remain or relocated to a different place. 2) In the case of perception of members of head families on the utilization of head family resources, 27 head families consented to the utilization, 35 head families opposed to the utilization, and 6 head families were undecided on the utilization out of a total of 68 head families. 3) The results of investigating and analyzing the desired type of programs of each head family by categorizing the programs into lodging, food, meditation, education, and tourism, as many as four programs were desired, while some families desired 2 or 3 programs at the lowest, showing an overlapping characteristic.

        NaOH 처리에 따른 다공성 PCL 지지체의 의사체액 환경에서의 아파타이트 형성

        Porous poly(e-caprolactone) (PCL) scaffolds were fabricated by salt leaching method. The PCL scaffolds were treated with aqueous NaOH for 0h, 2h, 4h, 8h, and 12h at $40^{\circ}C$. The NaOH-treated PCL scaffolds were dipped in $CaCl_2$ and $K_2HPO_4{\cdot}_3H_2O$ solution alternately three times to induce apatite nuclei onto the surface of the scaffolds. The NaOH-treated PCL scaffolds were immersed into SBF solution for 1day to grow the apatite. The apatite formation were investigated as a fuction of NaOH treatment time. The hydrophilicty and surface area of the PCL scaffolds were increased with NaOH-treatment time. The NaOH-treated PCL scaffolds were successfully formed a dense and uniform bone-like apatite layer after immersion for 1 day in SBF solution.

        현미와 흑미의 발아과정 중 amylolytic activity

        Enzymatic activity in germinated cereal grains is important for the saccharification of starch materials. This study was conducted to investigate the amylolytic activities of germinating brown rice and black rice that have different amylose contents. Brown rice and black rice were steeped at room temperature for 24 h and germinated at 20 and 30℃ for 1, 2, and 3 days. α- and β-Amylase activities in normal brown rice increased very slightly during the 3-day germination period, but the enzymatic activities were slightly higher in low-amylose (waxy type) brown rice. Diastatic power (DP), a measure of starch-saccharifying enzyme, was higher in the germinating brown rice with low amylose than in those with normal amylose content. α- and β-Amylase activities in black rice increased gradually during germination, and DP of low-amylose black rice appeared to be higher than that of normal brown rice. Amylase activities in brown rice and black rice germinated at 30oC were higher than those germinated at 20℃. Compared to brown rice, the overall amylolytic activity of germinated black rice was observed to be higher than that of brown rice.

        전남 지역 전통 고택의 현황 및 보존 방안

        This study is to propose conservation method of traditional house that to search traditional house conservation status and residential feature, traditional house space use and modification status that to analyze conflict of resident and demand of State Designated Cultural Property Houses. The study method conducted field research through traditional houses status and observation and interview of residents. The study range is traditional house 23 point located Jeollanam-do State Designated Cultural Property Houses. The result are as follows. First, that we need to keep original form of traditional houses and to permit Korean style house annex extension. Korean style house annex extension is resonable solution for preservation of original state because modern life on conflict resolution of traditional house’ residents. In the second place, for use traditional houses needed join management system development of the government and the owner of traditional houses. There were most traditional houses using or empty of only part of a large house. Supporting the joint operation of programs that many people use it will be a way to preserve the original form.

        디지털 미디어를 통한 한국인 영어학습자들의 교실 밖 영어학습과 정의적 요인의 관계 연구

        This study examines the relationship between out-of-class English learning phenomena and affective variables of Korean English learners through digital media. In total, 104 university students participated in the study and filled out the questionnaires developed to measure the participants’ usage of digital media for productive and receptive English learning as well as to measure affective variables (grit, motivation, self-confidence, and anxiety) in English learning. The results from One way ANOVA analysis showed that there are statistical differences among the participants in both receptive and productive English learning through digital media and that there are also statistical differences among the participants in affective variables except for self-confidence. The results from multiple regression analysis revealed that self-confidence is the only significant variable explaining both productive and receptive English learning with digital media whereas motivation has an effect on receptive English learning with digital media. Implications of the findings and suggestions for further studies are presented. (152 words)

        웹 기반 과학연재프로그램을 영어로 진행한 수업 사례 분석

        영재는 내적 동기 및 배우려는 의지와 능력이 일반 학생들과 다르므로 교육과정뿐만 아니라 수업내용면에도 차별화가 필요하며, 글로벌 국제 사회에서 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 영어 활용 능력이 필수적이다. 이에 본 연구는 버클리대학교에서 제공하는 웹기반 프로그램(wise.berkeley.edu)을 활용하여 개발한 ‘영어로 진행하는 과학영재프로그램’을 실제 중학교 과학영재 수업에 적용하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 질적분석 결과, 다양한 연구방법, 구체적인 자료로 패턴과 원리를 발견하여 산출물을 생산, 토론하는 기회가 제공되었다. 학생들은 온라인상에서의 1차 토론으로 신중한 언어사용, 웹서치 병행으로 영어에 대한 부담감 감소, 전문적인 과학용어를 습득하였고 교사는 외국의 우수한 자료 수집, 수평적 분위기 조성에 효과적이라고 분석되었다. 사전․사후 검사를 통하여 학생들은 자료해석 능력과, 논리적 결론도출 능력이 향상되었다. 양적분석 결과, ‘교육내용’ 영역은 평균 3.40(SD=.65), ‘교수·학습방법’ 영역은 평균 3.45(SD=.65), ‘평가 및 학생 산출물’ 영역은 평균 3.66(SD=.64), ‘학습 환경’ 영역은 평균 3.16(SD=.61)으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 영재 교수․학습 이론을 바탕으로 한 WSGEE 교수․학습 모형을 적용하여 학생들의 학습요구를 충족하는 학습자 중심의 프로그램을 운영하여야 하며 교사는 수업 전 수업에 필요한 과학용어 Key를 추출하여 준비하는 등 일반 수업과 차별화가 필요하고 과제 연구를 위한 팀 구성 시 일반수업과 달리 영어수준, 과학지식 수준, PPT 제작 능력 뿐 아니라 소신을 가지고 자신의 의견을 발표할 수 있는 자신감 등의 정의적 영역도 고려해야 한다. 마지막으로 지원체제 차원에서 학교와 교육청은 영어로 진행하는 과학영재수업에 필요한 제반 사항을 지원해야 한다. The gifted are different from ordinary students in terms of inner motives, skills, and the intention to learn, which requires them to have different study curriculums and contents. Furthermore, for competitiveness in the International global society, the use of English is necessary. There upon this reason, “WSGEE: Web-based Science gifted education in English” was applied to a real junior gifted class, to examine the effects of it. The class was performed on a web-based program provided by Berkeley University(wise.berkeley.edu). Class observations and analysis, teacher and student interviews and before and after class evaluation’s qualitative methods and understanding on quantitative methods were also performed all together to analyze the class. The qualitative research resulted that, students applied their research on class topics in diverse ways. Also, through specific data, students discovered patterns and principles by themselves which organized production and provided the opportunities to discuss it with it together. In addition, after interviewing with the students, we cautiously determined the online discussion and web search in English have increased the use of English vocabulary and decreased the burdens of English to students. Also by gathering files, it was analyzed that students became much more familiar with using professional scientific words. Moreover, after interviewing the teachers, it showed that when the web-based was proceeded in English, it was easier to collect data on foreign countries and assisting horizontal atmosphere, was more efficient due to student’s expressing their positive views in English. Lastly, the before and after class evaluation resulted, students ability to translate the after class subjects have improved. Students also could logically explain the reasons and importance of scientific concepts that were learned in class. Contents resulted in the average of 3.40(SD=.65). Instructions and learning methods averaged to be 3.45(SD=.65). Evaluation and production averages came out to be 3.66(SD=.64) and finally, the average for learning environment was shown to be 3.16(SD=.61). We concluded as follows. We need to apply the teachings of WSGEE to our teachings as models, and a main program should be operated for students that claim learning. and teachers need to point out Scientific Key words before class, to have distinction between the regular classes. Also, Teachers are required strategic ways to help students use English in a free and a natural way. In addition, different with the regular classes, when distributing into teams for class subject research, the usage of English, knowledge in science, the capability of dealing with PPT (power point) presentation and students presenting their opinions in a definite and confident way are required. We believe the school board should support needed items for the class. Furthermore, opportunities for a domestic training course as well as an abroad training course should be expanded for science teachers to improve their English. Teachers in college’s science department of education and the linguistics center should also be given an opportunity to a training course as well.

        단절된 역사, 지속적 기억: 아미타브 고쉬(Amitav Ghosh)의 『그림자 선』(The Shadow Lines)을 중심으로

        This paper examines the inextricable relationship between memory and history focusing on Amitav Ghosh`s The Shadow Lines. As one of the acclaimed Indian-English writers, Ghosh has paid attention to the role and significance of memory in recuperating forgotten events that are marginalized or occluded in a formal history. Drawing on the recent discourse of memory that claims its potentiality as alternative historiographies, this paper specifically deals with the continuity of memory challenging the discontinuity of the official history. While the formal history creates a great chasm between the past, present, and future, memory underscores the consistency of times: the past and present are integrated in the continuous flow of memory. Set against historical events such as the Indian Partition and World War II, this novel follows a nameless narrator`s memories encompassing the stories of his family in India and the Prices in London. Throwing the rhetorical questions of “Don`t you remember?” and “How can anyone divide a memory?” throughout the novel, Ghosh unravels the true story of the mysterious death of the narrator`s uncle Tridib and ultimately reveals the tragic history of the Indian Partition ignored and silenced for decades.
