The Effect of International HRM Systems on Korean MNC Subsidiary Performance

Despite the crucial role of international human resource management (IHRM) systems for multinational corporations (MNCs), few studies examine the processes through which IHRM systems influence the performance of MNC subsidiaries. Executive expatriates in foreign country subsidiaries responded to a survey in a field study employing 207 Korean MNCs. We explored the effect of IHRM systems on subsidiary performance via expatriate executive adjustment. We examined the intensified effect of IHRM systems on expatriate executive adjustment in MNCs with various levels of international experiences (host country experience, general international experience, and culture cluster experience). Using multiple regression analysis, we found a predicted mediated relationship among IHRM systems, expatriate executive adjustment, and subsidiary performance and a predicted moderating effect from MNC international experiences in the relationship between IHRM systems and expatriate executive adjustment.

This thesis deals with comparing and observing 『Shim Kyoung』 which Donggo wrote to Nammyoung for a present as well as the books written by Nammyoung and Donggo, their growing background and learning, their positions as government officers, and 「Moojinbongsa」 and 「Byounginbongsa」, letters having written to show respect to the King There are more records about Nammyung in 『Donggoyugo』 than in 『Nammyoungjib』. However, I am aware of the fact that the two books have almost the same content in them. 「Nammyoungshimkyoungbal」 has exactly the same content as 『Donggoyugo』. According to the comparition of these two books, I found that Donggo had sent the medicine material, calenda, 『Shimkyoung』, and other things to Nammyoung. Then Nammyoung sent appreciation letters to Donggo. In 『Shimkyoung』, Donggo suggested to Nammyoung that he became a government officer, but Nammyoung was only interested in morality. Donggo sent his son to Deoksan to grieve Nammyoung's death. They had the different pedigrees. Nammyoung's forefathers, who live in Huubcheon, didn't have any big government ranks. However, Donggo's forefathers had high government ranks. In their backgrounds some things are the same and some things are different. The things that were different were that Nammyoung was born in a rural area and his father died when he was 6 years old, but Donggo was born in Seoul and his father died when he was 26 years old. The things they had in common were that they all struggled economically, their mothers were all very clever, and they were not the eldest sons in their families. As they had different pedigrees, in the end Nammyoung became a scholar and Donggo became responsible for the national property. When Nammyoung was studying, I suppose that he was taught about learning from his father. However, Donggo learned about it from Lee, Yeonkyoung and Mr. Thansoo. When they were staying in Hyubcheon and Sangju, I suppose that they went to Hwang, Hyoheon to study, Nammyoung didn't go to school but Donggo went to school. Nammyoung changed his career objectives due to failing the exam to be a government officer, but Donggo started the job as a government officer because he passed ti. Nammyoung's highest rank in his life was only Hyunkam, but Donggo was Youngeujung. However, Nammyoung was appointed to a high position by the King. In 「Moojinbongsa」written by Nammyoung, he insisted on 'Respect', which is the important item of his consideration. It is the same that in 「Byounginbongsa」Donggo insisted on 'Harmony' which is an important item of his consideration. In 「Moojinbongsa」, he made clear the troubles of the government officers and suggested to the King that he treat all the problems of the government very strictly. In 「Byounginbongsa」, Donggo insisted harmony and advised that they have to prepare the following King through logic which to choose the talented men. I am aware that both of them did their best with their position at that time. When Doggo was 33 years old, he presented 『Shimkyoung』to Nammyoung. When Donggo gave that. I supposed that he transmitted Nammyoung 'Su-ki-chi-in'(to control themselves by learning) of the important spirit of Confucianism. Nammyoung decided to himself that he would try to study harder when he received the book. Both of them had lived differently but they always cared for their people. The fact Donggo gave a present, 『Shimkyoung』 to Nammyoung. After much consideration, study and hearing from our country's political leaders, I have become aware that there is now more study and consideration being given to our country.

공기역학적 지면효과 측정을 위한 자동화된 풍동모형 지지부 시스템을 개발하였다. 풍동 모형 지지부시스템은 서보모터, 구동기 그리고 위치제어시스템을 사용하여 자동화되었다. 또한 개발된 모형지지부시스템을 사용하여 별도의 추가 설치 없이 자유비행조건과 이착륙 조건 풍동 시험을 동시에 수행하였다. An automated wind tunnel model support system for aerodynamic ground effect measurement was developed. The wind tunnel model support system is automated using servo motor, servo driver and position control system. Also wind tunnel test for free flight condition and aerodynamic ground effect measurement carried out using the developed model support system without additional support installation.

전원 전압의 불평형과 고조파 전류 및 역률을 동시에 보상하는 통합형 능동 전력필터

In this paper, a novel control scheme compensating for source voltage unbalance and current harmonics and power factor simultaneously in unified active power filter systems combined with shunt passive filters is proposed, where no low/high-pass filter are used in deriving the reference voltage for compensation. Using digital all-pass filters, the phase angle and the reference voltages compensating for harmonic current and unbalanced voltage are derived from the positive sequence component of the unbalanced voltage. The amplitude of d-axis current in a series filter is controlled as zero for power factor correction. The validity of the proposed control scheme has been verified by experimental results.

螺旋模型(inflation spiral)을 利用한 인플레이션 壓力의 評價

物價安定目標制하에서의 通貨政策은 현 시점에서의 인플레이션 압력과 미래에 예상되는 인플레이션 變動方向 및 進行經路에 대한 綜合判斷을 토대로 政策基調의 현상 유지 또는 변경 여부를 先制的으로 결정한다. 이를 위해서는 인플레이션 豫測과 連繫하여 인플레이션 압력을 종합적으로 分析하고 評價하는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 物價-賃金-換率 등 주요 거시가격변수의 動態的 相乘現象을 縮約型 單一 行態方程式으로 定式化한 螺旋形 인플레이션 모형(inflation spiral equation: ISE)을 도출한 뒤 동 모형을 이용하여 90년대 우리나라 인플레이션 압력의 변동행태를 재화, 노동, 외환, 해외시장 등 각 市場要因別로 평가하고 豫測模型으로서의 活用可能性을 검토해 보았다. 또한 추정된 ISE 모형식으로부터 通貨政策의 動態的 波及經路를 이해하는 데 유용한 정책파급함수식을 구체적으로 예시하는 한편 동 식을 이용하여 측정한 근원 인플레이션율의 理論的 推定値의 整合性을 분석하였다. 마지막으로 실증분석 결과를 토대로 정책당국이 先制的이고 效率的인 통화정책 운영방식을 도모하는 데 유의해야 할 몇 가지 政策的 示唆點을 도출하여 정리하였다.
