In this study, it was evaluated the protective performance of the protection material for filed of the army by impact of fragment from the explosion of 155mm artillery shell to propose the improvement items. And it was evaluated the protection materials for structural boby such as corrugated steel plate, concrete block, prevention paint of explosion, aluminum foam and concrete T-wall by impact of fragment of 155mm artillery shells and explosion-induced pressure of C-4 explosive. As a result, protective performance of the existing protective material was superior but reinforcement is necessary for secondary damage because sand is leaking. The protective performance of new protective materials was greater than existing protective materials. And it can be used for protective materials.
굴 패각 피복 콘크리트 기질의 해조류 착생에 관한 연구

바다숲 복원과 함께 굴 패각의 새로운 자원화를 위해 굴 패각을 피복시킨 콘크리트 기질을 부산광역시 기장군 일광면 동백리 연안에 설치하여 약 1년간(2020년 1월~11월) 해조류 피도 변화를 모니터링하였다. 1월 모니터링 결과, 대조구인 일반 콘크리트 기질에는 해조류가 출현하지 않았다. 이에 반해 굴 패각을 10 ~ 90 % 피복시킨 실험구에는 해조류가 약 10 ~ 80 %의 피도로 착생한 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 11월 실험구의 피도는 대조구 대비 최대 49 % 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 콘크리트 기질의 인공어초에 굴 패각 피복을 통해 인공어초의 해조류 착생을 촉진할 수 있으며, 수산 부산물인 굴 패각의 새로운 자원화 방안을 제시하였다. In this study, we located concrete substratum covered by oyster shells in the coastal area of Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea, and monitored changes in coverage of macroalgae for approximately a year from January 2020 to determine the potential for sea forest restoration and resourceization of the oyster shells. At the start of monitoring, we observed that macroalgae coverage of the oyster-shell-covered concrete substratum (treatment) was 10 - 80 %, whereas no macroalgae were attached to the normal concrete substratum (control). By November, macroalgae coverage of the treatment had increased by 49 % compared to that of the control. We concluded that covering oyster shell on a sea forest reef can promote macroalgae establishment and the possibility of sea forest restoration by the resourceization of oyster shells.
제주도 자생 식물 혼합추출물의 in vitro 생리활성 평가

In this study moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects of water extract from Jeju island plant mixture such as Portulaca oleracea, Opuntia ficusindica var. saboten, aloe vera, Ecklonia cava were investigated in vitro. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a highly hydrophilic molecule known to be associated with skin moisture, wrinkle formation. Also, many studies have reported that collagen and elastin are a major factor in skin wrinkle formation. Therefore, we performed MTT assay, HA synthesis, hyaluronic acid synthase-2 (HAS-2) gene expression, collagen synthesis, hyaluronidase, collagenase and elastase inhibition assay for evaluation of biological activities. ELISA assay revealed that mixture increased HA and collagen production and RT-PCR also showed that mixture increased mRNA level of HAS-2 gene in HaCaT cells. And other results showed prevention of hyaluronidase, collagenase and elastase activation. These results indicate Jeju island plants mixture have moisturizing and anti-wrinkle effects. Therefore, Jeju island plants mixture can be used as a functional cosmetic.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the hair growth effect of Dansam-Samultang in C57BL/6 mice. In order to estimate its hair growth effect, we performed percutaneous application of sample on the back of six-week-old C57BL/6 male mice; 150 μL a day, six days a week, for four weeks. Experimental animals were classified into four groups - control group (C, saline), positive control group (PC, minoxidil 3%), experimental 1 group (E1, Dansam-Samultang ethanol 2%), and experimental 2 group (E2, Dansam-Samultang toner 2%). Body weight, water and feed consumption were measured once a week, and macroscopic hair growth effect was observed once a week. On the second and fourth week, we took a blood sample of five mice, analyzed their blood cells, observed their skin tissues. The experiment showed no significance in water and feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed efficiency among groups; relatively high weight gain, but no statistical significance for PC group. The organ weight had no significant difference among groups. In the hematological analysis, E1 had more white blood cells, neutrophils, and monocytes, but there was no significant difference in other items among groups. Macroscopic observation showed hair growth effect in the high to low order of PC, E1, E2, and C groups. Histological observation showed a clear increase of number and depth of follicle, and dermal thickness for PC, E1 and E2 groups, compared to C group. Taking all the results together, this experiment shows that Dansam-Samultang has a effective in hair growth and hair loss prevention.

천연해조장을 확대하기 위해 해조류 생장 촉진제의 개발 및 평가가 수행되고 있다. 풀빅산은 해수 내의 Fe<sup>3+</sup>를 킬레이트화하여 Fe<sup>2+</sup>로 변환시켜 해조류의 성장을 촉진하지만, 육역에서의 유입은 감소하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 풀빅산의 인위적 공급에 따른 해양환경 및 해조류 성장의 변화를 조사하였다. 풀빅산의 중금속 농도는 해양환경 기준 백서의 해양퇴적물 주의기준을 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 국내산 풀빅산으로 공급체를 제작하여 경북 영덕 창포리 연안에 시설하였다. 약 1개월 후, 공급체 설치 해역의 Fe 농도는 대조구보다 약 122% 높은, 0.109 μ g/L로 나타났다. 해조류 및 대형무척추동물의 출현종수는 공시체 설치 해역에서 대조구에 비해 각각 16% 및 41% 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로부터 풀빅산의 공급은 천연해조장 확대에 기여할 수 있는 것으로 판단된다. In order to expand the natural seaweed forests, the development and evaluation of seaweed biostimulants have been conducted. Although fulvic-acid (FA) converts Fe<sup>3+</sup> into Fe<sup>2+</sup> via chelation in sea water and promotes growth of the marine algae, the inflow of FA from land has decreased. Therefore, the changes of marine environment and algae growth according to the artificial supply of FA were investigated. It was found that the concentration of heavy metals in FA satisfies the marine sediment precaution criteria in the marine environment standard white paper. In-situ capping material (ISC) was produced from FA and installed in the coast of Changpo-ri, Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk. After a month, the Fe concentration in the experimental site was 0.109 μg/L with 122% higher than that of the control site. The number of appeared species in seaweed and macro invertebrates were 16% and 41% resepectively, higher than that of the control in the experimental site. Based on the above results, supplying the FA to the marine environment is expected to contribute to the expansion of natural seaweed forest.

The present work addresses an experimental study on sound attenuation characteristics of silencer by live firing test. When a gun fires, there exists excessive noise which propagates as a form of blast wave. As muzzle energy of the weapon systems increases, the level of impulsive noise also increases. It is well known that the impulsive noise from a gun gives a serious damage to human bodies and structures. The adverse effects of impulsive sound also cause both social and military problems. So it is very important to study the characteristics of the impulsive sound attenuation. The live firing test is performed to evaluate the effect of four different silencers. The test result is compared with the case of bare muzzle which is not installed the silencer. The frequency characteristics are also analyzed to investigate the diminution of sound pressure level. The results of this study will be helpful to the designing silencer for large caliber weapon systems.
