생체분자와 필드의 동시국소화를 통한 플라스몬 센서의 감도향상 연구

We have conducted a theoretical study to improve the detection limit of a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor by co-localizing plasmonic fields and target molecules of interest. The fields were localized by nanograting antennas, while target molecules that participate in a molecular interaction were assumed to be co-localized by angled evaporation of a dielectric mask layer on the nanograting antennas. We have performed the evaluation using an overlap integral between distributions of plasmon fields and molecules and confirmed the correlation of the overlap with the sensitivity of an SPR sensor. Based on the calculated sensor characteristics, it was found that the sensitivity, if the fields and molecules are co-localized, can be as much as ten times that of non-colocalized structure.

운전자를 위한 영상처리 시스템에서 도로 위의 움직이는 물체와 고정된 물체의 구분은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 많은 연구자들이 색상과 경계 기반의 추적 시스템은 'distracted' 현상으로 인해 잘못된 결과를 야기 시키는 데 이것은 동시에 모든 점들이 예상을 벗어난 경우에 대한 문제를 다루지 않기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 순차적인 몬테카를로 필터를 사용하여 다중 차량 추적에 대응하며 광학적 흐름 기법의 명암 흐름과 히스토그램 기법의 색상 정보의 분포를 결합하여 실시간 시스템의 강인성과 정확성을 향상시킨다. 또한 고정된 물체의 경우 적응하는 입자 수의 밀도를 줄여 시간이 지남에 따라 추적 대상에서 제외된다. 두 개의 큰 흐름으로 나뉘는데 전자는 움직이는 물체와 고정된 물체를 구분하기 위한 예측 단계에 대하여 설명하고 후자는 센서인 영상으로부터 얻어진 정보를 측정 단계로 사용하여 겹쳐진 영역에 대응하는 방법에 대하여 논한다. In a visual driver-assistance system, separating moving objects from fixed objects are an important problem to maintain multiple hypothesis for the state. Color and edge-based tracker can often be 'distracted' causing them to track the wrong object. Many researchers have dealt with this problem by using multiple features, as it is unlikely that all will be distracted at the same time. In this paper, we improve the accuracy and robustness of real-time tracking by combining a color histogram feature with a brightness of Optical Flow-based feature under a Sequential Monte Carlo framework. And it is also excepted from Tracking as time goes on, reducing density by Adaptive Particles Number in case of the fixed object. This new framework makes two main contributions. The one is about the prediction framework which separating moving objects from fixed objects and the other is about measurement framework to get a information from the visual data under a partial occlusion.

Numerical studies have been carried out on scrubbers, which are after-treatment devices to satisfy strengthened emission regulations for sulfur dioxide and particulate matter. We investigated the problems with existing scrubbers through numerical analysis and designed and analyzed a new swirl-type scrubber that could solve these problems. As a result, with the swirl-type scrubber, exhaust gas formed a vortex in the lower part of the device, and some of this gas was released along the guide vane through the bottom surface. In this case, the pressure gradient in the vertical direction was not large, but a pressure difference between the inside and outside of the baffle was generated. The shape of the exhaust gas stream was investigated, and when water was not sprayed, the exhaust gas flowed constantly to the outlet along the guide vane, in contrast to when water was sprayed. It was confirmed that the shape of the flow was influenced by the guide vane, nozzle arrangement and water pressure. In the case of the swirl-type scrubber, impact on engine back-pressure was minimal, because differential pressure at the inlet and outlet was less than half of that with a conventional scrubber.

A Literature study on the language disturbance, the results are as follows; 1. Utterance was closely concerned not only the vocal organs(pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, lips, tongue, vocal cord etc,) but also five viscera{especially heart, lung, kidney etc.) in The Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicine. It is very like the vocal mechanism in Medical science. 2. In the language disturbance, It is classified with dysarthria and dysphasia in Medical science. But in Oriental medicine, it is expressed the language disturbance as coma-speech lessness, stiff tongue-speechlessness, frightening-speechlessness etc. Especially in Oriental medicine, Non-utterance is called aphasia in literature study. 3. In the concern of the language disturbance and five viscera, $Heart{\cdot}Lung{\cdot}Kidney$ are counted of first importence. In differential diagnosis, It is divided sthenia-syndrome and asthenia-syndrome. Sthenia-syndrome is classified with wind-cold, fire-evil, adverseness of vital energy, stagnation of phlegm, is easy to cure. Asthenia-syndrome is classified with sexual desire, anxiety-meditation, fear, is hard to cure. 4. The pathogenesis of dysphasia originated from two factors; The first internal damages are consumption of body fluid caused by lung-dryness and yin-dificiency of lung & kidney. The second disease caused by exogenous evjls is sluggishness of lung-energy. 5. In many using points of acupuncture of the language disturbance, the order is LI-4(合谷), H-7(神門), K-l(湧泉), L-3(太衝), K-3(太谿), S-6(三陰交), H-5(通里), G-15(아門), C-23(廉泉), S-40(豊降), K-6(照海), L-7(列缺), S-36(足三里) etc.
조임 회전력에 따른 치과 임플랜트 지대나사의 응력에 관한 연구

Abutment screw loosening of implant restorations is a common problem in the treatment of dental implant. The purpose of this study was to calculate stress and preload from the elongation measurements and to determine maximum tightening torque without plastic deformation of the screw. The length of each gold alloy UCLA screw was measured after tightening to the manufacturer's recommended torque of 32 N-cm. Similarity, titanium UCLA screws were measured after tightening to the manufacturer's recommended torque of 20 N-cm. Loosening torque was also measured after tightening to 32 N-cm torque for gold alloy abutment screws and 20 N-cm for titanium abutment screws. The results were as follows ; 1. There was a regressive relationship between screw elongation and tightening torque (gold alloy : $r^2=0.987$, titanium : $r^2=0.978$), and the mean preload calculated from elongation measurements was $501.11{\pm}26.85\;N$ (gold alloy) and $399.43{\pm}7.61\;N$ (titanium). 2. Stress calculated for the gold alloy and titanium screws at maximum recommended tightening torque was less than 60% of their respective yield strengths and with-in the elastic range. Maximum tightening torque without plastic deformation was 61 N-cm (gold alloy) and 39 N-cm (titanium). 3. For titanium screws, there was a significant difference between loosening after trial 1 and loosening after trials 2 to 5 (p<0.05). No statistically significant difference was seen in mean loosening torques between the first and subsequent trials for gold alloy screws.
다양한 샘플링 조건에 따른 선박 배기가스 내 입자상물질의 구조 특성에 관한 실험 연구

Black carbon (BC) contained in particulate matter (PM) originating from the exhaust gases of ships' diesel engines has been receiving great attention as a cause of glacial melting and warming in the polar regions. In this study, we took samples from various locations of PM emitted from the training ship (T/S) HANBADA's main engine, in cooperation with the Korea Maritime and Ocean University. We analyzed the structure and characteristics of these samples using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM) and applied our findings as fundamental research for developing PM reduction technology. We also employed our results to determine appropriate preemptive action to meet upcoming PM/BC regulations. In addition, we confirmed the emission trend of pollutants from exhaust gases under various engine operating conditions using an exhaust gas analyzer. Results obtained from the analysis of HR-TEM images showed that the structure of the PM is chain-like wispy agglomerates consisting of a number of individual spherical particles. As the sampling location was moved away from the turbo charger (T/C) towards the funnel, more condensates were observed at a low temperature and the molecular structure of the PM lost its characteristic BC structure as an amorphous structure gradually appeared. Furthermore, through the analysis of exhaust gases, we predicted a decrease in PM concentration in the exhaust stream as engine rpm increase.
