        環跳(GB30) 秦艽藥鍼이 신경병리성 통증 유발 흰쥐에 미치는 영향

        Effect of Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix Pharmacopuncture at Hwando (GB30) on Neuropathic Pain in Tibial and Sural Nerve Transected Rats Ook Jae Lee1, Seon Wook Kim2 and Jeong Cheol Shin2,* 1Cham Joeun Hospital 2Department of Acupuncture & Moxibustion Medicine, College of Oriental Medicine, Dongshin University Objectives : The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix pharmacopuncture (GP) at Hwando (GB30) in neuropathic pain induced rats. Methods : Neuropathic pain in rats was induced by tibial and sural nerve transection. The rat subjects were divided into 6 groups : normal (Nor, n = 5), control (Con, n = 5), neuropathic pain- induced injected at GB30 with 1 ㎎/㎏ GP (GP-A, n = 5), 5 ㎎/㎏ GP (GP-B, n = 5) and 20 ㎎/㎏ GP (GP-C, n = 5), and neuropathic pain-induced injected with 1㎎/㎏ Tramadol (Tramadol, n=5). Injections were administered 2 times a week for a total of 5 treatments. After each treatment plantar withdrawal response was measured and after all 5 treatments were completed c-fos, Bax, Bcl-2, mGlu5 and leukocytes in the blood were analyzed. Results : 1. Groups GP-A, GP-B and GP-C showed a meaningful decrease in the withdrawal response of mechanical allodynia compared to the control group. 2. Groups GP-A, GP-B and GP-C showed a meaningful decrease in the expression of c-fos compared to the control group. 3. Groups GP-A and GP-C showed a meaningful increase in the expression of mGluR5 compared to the control group. 4. Groups GP-A, GP-B and GP-C showed a meaningful decrease in Bax/Bcl-2 ratio compared to the control group. Conclusion : These results suggest that Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix pharmacopuncture at Hwando (GB30) could decrease mechanical allodynia and could have analgesic and neuroprotective effects on the model of neuropathic pain.

        조류발전 시스템 내 블레이드 회전수 변화에 따른 효율 특성 분석

        The numerical simulation method was used to analyze the flow velocity change and mechanical coefficient characteristics of the blade in the shroud system that changes with the initial flow velocity and the blade rpm. In the analysis condition, the initial flow velocity was varied from 0.35 m/s to 1.0 m/s, and the blade rpm varied from 50 rpm to 300 rpm. Through this, the mechanical coefficient was estimated. The flow velocity changes tended to increase more than 1.8 times at the middle point compared to the inlet. When the flow velocity ratio was 0.75 m/s compared to the initial flow velocity of 0.5 m/s, the flow velocity ratio decreased. The mechanical coefficient using the torque of the blade also showed the highest coefficient at 0.5 m/s, and the trends were similar. On the other hand, the maximum coefficient was estimated to be about 20.88% in TSR 4.77 when the initial flow velocity was 0.5 m/s. The mechanical coefficient analysis of blades in this study is expected to provide the basic data for hydraulic model experimental. 초기 유속과 블레이드의 회전수에 따라 변화하는 쉬라우드 시스템 내 유속 변화와 블레이드의 효율 특성을 분석을 위해 수치해석 방법을 이용한 연구를 수행했다. 해석 조건으로 0.35 m/s에서 1.0 m/s까지 초기 유속 변화와 50 rpm부터 300 rpm까지 블레이드의 회전수를 변화시키며 기계적 효율을 추정했다. 유속 변화는 유입부 대비 중심부 에서 모든 경우 약 1.8배 이상 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, 초기 유속 0.5 m/s 대비 0.75 m/s에서 유속 변화율이 감소 했다. 또한 블레이드의 토크를 이용한 기계적 효율 역시 0.5 m/s의 경우 가장 높은 효율을 보였으며, 모든 경우 유사 한 경향성을 보였다. 한편 최대 효율은 초기 유속 0.5 m/s인 경우 TSR 4.77에서 약 20.88%로 산정됐다. 본 연구에 서 수행한 블레이드의 기계적 효율 분석은 수리모형실험에 필요한 기초적 자료를 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        서해 경기만 해조군집 복원을 위한 기초생태조사

        For getting primary cue of restoration, the algal flora and intertidal community structure of Deokjeokdo, Yeonpyeongdo and Ganghwado were investigated for from February to November 2006. The total of 28 species, including five Chlorophytes, five Phaeophytes, 17 Rhodophytes and one sea grass were identified. The occurrence of species according to sampling site was 22 species in Deokjeokdo, seven species in Yeonpyeongdo and four species in Ganghwado. Among them Gloiopeltis furcata, Ulva pertusa and Sargassum horneri in Deokjeokdo, Scytosiphon lomentaria in Yeonpyeongdo, Enteromorpha prolifera in Ganghwado were ominants. The algal zonation of intertidal zone was figured out by Gloiopeltis furcata, Caulacanthus okamurae – Corallina pilulifera – Ulva pertusa, Ahnfeltiopsis flabelliformis, Sargassum horneri, Undaria pinnatifida in Deokjeokdo, Bangia atropurpurea – Scytosiphon lomentaria – Ahnfeltiopsis flablleiformis in Yeonpyeongdo from upper to lower zone and Enteromorpha prolifera, Enteromorpha linza – Sargassum thunbergii, Myelophycus simplex in Ganghwado from middle to lower zone. The average of biomass was measured as 80.6 g dry wt. m–2 in Deokjeokdo, 32.2 g dry wt. m–2 in Yeonpyeongdo and less than 1 g dry wt. m–2 in Ganghwado.

        薑黃약침이 CFA로 유발된 류마티스성 관절염에 미치는 영향

        Objectives : The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of Curcuma longa LINNE pharmacopuncture at ST36 on Complete Freund’s Adjuvant(CFA)-induced arthritis in rats. Materials and methods : Arthritis was induced by injecting CFA subcutaneously into the left knee joint and paw, and Curcuma longa LINNE pharmacopuncture(CLL-A. 0.0343 ㎍/㎏; CLL-B. 0.171 ㎍/㎏; CLL-C. 0.343 ㎍/㎏) was injected at ST36 each other day for 5 times beginning on day 10 after the CFA injection. Paw edema, withdrawal response, hematological, serological and histological observation were assessed. Results : In paw edema volume all 3 groups(CLL-A, CLL-B, CLL-C) showed significant decrease compared to the CFA control group. In withdrawal response to reaction time and withdrawal response to force all 3 groups(CLL-A, CLL-B, CLL-C) showed significant increase compared to the CFA control group. In serum AST, group CLL-C showed significant decrease compared to the CFA control group. In histological observations, in all 3 groups, more normal chondrocytes were observed compared to the CFA control group and safranin O stain showed high positive reaction in the cartilage tissue close to the bone tissue. Conclusions : The results suggest that Curcuma longa LINNE Pharmacopuncture at ST36 has a suppressing inflammation effect on Freund's adjuvant arthritis in rats.

        Single photon detector technologies have emerged as powerful tools in optical quantum information applications such as quantum communication, quantum information, and integrated quantum photonics. Owing to significant attempts in the previous decade at improving photon-counting detectors, several single photon detectors with high efficiency and low noise have been realized within the optical wavelength regime. In this paper, we provide an overview of current studies on single photon detectors operating at wavelengths from the ultraviolet to the infrared. In addition, we discuss applications of single photon detector technologies in quantum communication and integrated quantum photonics.

        재발성 횡단성 척수염 환자의 한방치험 1례

        Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean medical treatment on a patient with relapsing transverse myelitis. Methods : The patient was treated using acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, herbal medicine and other treatments including moxibustion and therapeutic exercise for 8 weeks. We evaluated the patient's motor grade with medical research council(MRC) scale and evaluated active range of motion in the hip, knee, and anke joint. Results : Through treatment the patient's motor grade and active range of motion all improved. Other symptoms such as lower limb hypoesthesia and residual urine sensation also showed improvement. Conclusions : We concluded that Korean medicine treatment had respectable effect in improving symptoms on the patient with relapsing transverse myelitis.
