        호중구감소 환자에서 발생한 침습 칸디다 대장염 1예

        The candida species are considered as resident microflora in healthy persons. Yet in immunocompromised patients, candida can cause opportunistic invasive fungal infections. A 67-year-old woman presented to the hospital with abdominal pain and diarrhea. On admission, the laboratory studies revealed profound neutropenia, and the abdominal computed tomography showed thickened walls of the ascending colon and terminal ileum. The patient's fever and clinical symptoms continued for 5 days in spite of the empirical antibiotic therapy. We performed colonoscopy and obtained biopsy specimens at the ulcer lesions of the ascending colon and terminal ileum. The histology showed that candida hyphae had invaded to the lamina propria of the colonic mucosa. After antifungal treatment, her clinical symptoms subsided and the follow-up colonoscopic findings showed improvement. Therefore, we suggest that invasive candidal colitis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of neutropenic enterocolitis. 칸디다는 정상인에서도 발견되는 상재균이지만 면역손상환자에서 심각한 기회감염을 일으키는 것으로 알려져 있다. 위장관의 칸디다 감염증은 구강과 식도에서 가장 흔히 볼 수 있으며 위와 십이지장 궤양에서 집락형성을 하여 궤양의 치유를 지연시킨다는 보고들이 있다. 국내에서도 위와 십이지장 궤양에 발생한 칸디다 감염이 보고되어 있으나 침습 칸디다 대장염은 아직 국내에 보고된 증례가 없다. 저자들은 호중구감소가 있었던 67세 여자에서 발병된 침습 칸디다 대장염을 경험하여 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다.

      • 靑少年의 體力 및 體格에 關한 硏究 : 濟州道內 男子高等學生을 中心으로

        The purpose of this study was to examine the physical strength and body dimensions of high school students. A total of 440 male students were selected from O Boys' High School and C Boys' Technical High School. And so 207 samples were collected from the former and 233 from the latter. The former was named as Test Group Ⅰ, and the latter as Test Group Ⅱ. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. Physical Function : The student aged 18 of Test Group Ⅰ was identified to be highest in terms of vital capacity, grip strength, and back strength were highest. 2. Ability of Physical Exercise : the students aged 19 of Test Group Ⅰ showed the highest ability in terms of 100 meters run, handball throwing, and standizing brood jump, while the students of Test Group Ⅱ showed the highest ability in terms of 1000 meters run. The students aged 18 of Test Group Ⅱ showed the highest ability in terms of sit-ups. 3. Physical Structure : the students aged 19 of Test Group Ⅰ were identified to be better than other students in terms of stature, sitting height, length of arm, grith of upper arm foot length, body weight, girth of chest, girth of thigh. Meanwhile the students aged 18 of Test Group Ⅱ were identified to be better than other students in terms of length of leg, girth of calf and ankle, head circumference, girth of forearm, and skinfold thickness.

        Compton Imaging Simulator를 이용한 다층 구조 컴프턴 카메라 성능평가 예비 연구

        컴프턴 카메라는 컴프턴 산란현상의 기하학적 해석을 통해 감마선원의 3차원적 위치분포를 고정된 위치에서 찾아내는 신개념의 감마선 영상장치이다. 기존의 감마선 영상장치에서는 필수적으로 사용되는 기계적 집속기를 사용하지 않기 때문에 높은 영상 감도를 제공할 수 있으며, 다중 추적자 기능을 제공한다는 장점이 있어 차세대 감마선 영상장치로서 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Geant4 몬테칼로 전산모사 툴키트를 이용하여 사용자 친화형의 컴프턴 카메라 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. 시뮬레이터의 정확성을 검증하기 위하여 한양대학교에서 개발 중인 이중 산란형 컴프턴 카메라의 실험 결과와 비교하였다. 영상 해상도의 경우 선원의 에너지가 높아짐에 따라 해상도가 향상되는 동일한 경향을 보였으나, 시뮬레이터 결과에서 약 1 mm 정도 우수하게 평가되었다. 영상 감도의 경우 실험에서 2~3배 정도 높게 평가되었다. 이러한 결과들은 우연 동시반응에 기인한 것으로, 실험에서 획득한 유효반응들은 전산모사와는 달리 우연한 동시계수에의한 데이터가 상당수 포함되어 있기 때문에 영상 해상도는 상대적으로 저조하고, 영상 감도는 높게 나타난 것으로 판단된다. 개발된 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 새로운 구조의 컴프턴 카메라에 대한 성능을 평가하였다. 단일 산란형 컴프턴 카메라의 경우 산란부를 다층 구조로 개발할 때 4대의 산란부 검출기를 사용하는 것이 최상의 성능을 보이는 것으로 평가되었고, 그 이상 사용할 경우 성능이 오히려 저하됨을 확인하였다. A Compton camera, which is based on the geometrical interpretation of Compton scattering, is a very promising gamma-ray imaging device considering its several advantages over the conventional gamma-ray imaging devices: high imaging sensitivity, 3-D imaging capability from a fixed position, multi-tracing functionality, and almost no limitation in photon energy. In the present study, a Monte Carlo-based, user-friendly Compton imaging simulator was developed in the form of a graphical user interface (GUI) based on Geant4 and $MATLAB^{TM}$. The simulator was tested against the experimental result of the double-scattering Compton camera, which is under development at Hanyang University in Korea. The imaging resolution of the simulated Compton image well agreed with that of the measured image. The imaging sensitivity of the measured data was 2~3 times higher than that of the simulated data, which is due to the fact that the measured data contains the random coincidence events. The performance of a stacking-structure type Compton camera was evaluated by using the simulator. The result shows that the Compton camera shows its highest performance when it uses 4 layers of scatterer detectors.

        성령론에 대한 기철학적 이해

        This thesis is an experimental proposal to a new theological paradigm by understanding the Christian Holy Spirit from Gi philosophy. The writer intends to develop a living theology of feeling, experience, communication, and empathy rather than to follow the traditional Christian speculative theology. Also, the writer intends to develop the Spirit-oriented Trinity by focusing on its free movement and extending one’s understanding of the Spirit to the non-personal realm. For the theoretical basis, the writer will borrow the concept of ‘creativity’ by Alfred North Whitehead and the East Asian concept of Gi. Whitehead understands creativity as the principle of universal of universals transcends the actual entity, and at the same time, through the efficient cause and the final cause, is imminent in each actual entity. Creativity, as the principle of universal of universals, transcends God, but creativity in God’s immanent structure functions as the superjective nature of God which unites the primordial nature of God and the consequent nature of God and gives itself to God-self and the world. Creativity of process philosophy corresponds to Gi of East Asian philosophy. In the Li-Gi dualism, Gi is regarded as the material principle. But in the philosophy of Gi, Gi as non-being is the possibility of being or the whole of being, while Li is the principle that Gi is manifested in all beings. In this perspective, the appearance and disappearance of all beings are the manifestation and scattering of Gi. One’s understanding of the Holy Spirit, from the perspective of Gi philosophy, makes it possible to change the paradigm from God the Father oriented trinity to God the Spirit oriented trinity. It also helps one to approach reality with a non-dualistic way of thinking. Furthermore, from the perspective of the whole-part structure of Gi, one’s understanding of the Holy Spirit contributes to the development of ecumenical and ecumenic theology. Finally, Spirit-centered theology makes it possible to develop a Christian theology focused on feeling, experience, communication, and empathy rather than mere speculative theology.
