정상 성인에서 Haloperidol이 수면구조와 정신생리적 기능에 미치는 영향

To investigate the effects of haolperidol on sleep structure and psychophysiologic function in normal adults, author applied polysomnography for sleep structure, reaction time for attention and visual analogue scales for daytime fatigue, mood and sleepiness to normal volunteers. The subjects were 8 healthy young adults, aged from 20 to 24 years old. The results were summarized as follows. 1. Haloperidol has the effects of decreased total sleep time, delayed sleep latency, increased slow wave sleep(SWS) and REM sleep, and decreased waking after sleep onset (WASO) and stage 1 sleep. 2. Delayed sleep latency continued until first recovery night, and increased REM sleep contiued nutil second recovery night. 3. In the night of haloperidol administration, decreased total sleep time correlated with increased slow wave sleep(SWS) and REM sleep, and increased daytime sleepiness, decreased waking after sleep onset(WASO) correlated with increased slow wave sleep(SWS) and REM sleep. Increased REM sleep correlated with decreased daytime sleepiness, and daytime fatigue correlated with mood. 4. In the first recovery night, decreased total sleep time correlted with increased REM sleep and continued until second recovery night, and daytime sleepiness correlated with fatigue, sleepiness and reaction time.

This study evaluated the effect of whey brew cultured by Lactobacillus helveticus ATCC 55163 and Propionibacterium acidipropionici 5020 on bread quality characteristics. Ten and 15% whey brew were added to flour-based bread, after which bread volume, pH, total titratable acidity (TTA), moisture content, water activity, texture, organic acid content, and sensory evaluation were analyzed. The bread volume and TTA of control were the largest among the samples, whereas pH was the lowest. Moisture content did not significantly differ depending on the amount of whey brew added, though water activity was highest in the bread with 10% whey brew. However, hardness was the lowest in bread with 10% whey brew. Propionic acid was not detected while succinic acid, lactic acid, and acetic acid were detected in small amounts in the control compared to the test samples. Succinic acid, acetic acid, and lactic acid content was high in bread with 15% whey brew, with propionic acid present at a very high amount. In terms of sensory evaluation, bread with 10% whey brew had the highest score. As a result, high quality characteristics were associated with the bread with 10% whey brew, whereas long preservation was a characteristic of the bread with 15% whey brew.

Accuracy of Mean-centered Binned Kernel Density Estimator as an Approximation to the Ordinary Kernel Estimator

When the data set is very large it takes huge computation time to obtain the kernel density estimator. In this case it is of crucial interest to reduce the computation time. One of the efficient way to achieve this goal is to use the binned kernel density estimator. Several binning rules and the resulting binned kernel estimator have been studied by some authors. In this paper we study, the accuracy of the mean-centered binned kernel estimator as a practical substitute for the original kernel density estimator. We investigate the asymptotic mean integrated squared difference between the mean-centered binned kernel density estimator and the original kernel estimator. We also do the simulation study for checking the accuracy.

. The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of brand loyalty in the relationship between consumption value and satisfaction for cosmeceuticals. For this purpose, consumers in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province were the subjects of the study, and the main results of the study are as follows. First, the differences in consumption value, brand loyalty, and cosmeceutical satisfaction according to the general characteristics of the survey subjects were investigated. As a result, among the four consumption values, functional value was the highest, followed by social value and ethical value. Exploratory value was It was not a significant result. Second, in the correlation of variables related to satisfaction with cosmeceuticals, brand loyalty, ethical value, and functional value had a positive (+) correlation, and satisfaction, social value, ethical value, functional value, and brand loyalty had a positive (+) correlation. was found to be correlated with Third, the mediating effect of brand loyalty between consumption value factors and satisfaction for cosmeceuticals was found to have a mediating effect in the relationship between social value, ethical value, functional value and satisfaction among consumption values. In particular, it was confirmed that brand loyalty had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between social value and satisfaction with cosmeceuticals, and brand loyalty had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between ethical value and functional value and satisfaction with cosmeceuticals. The data of this study will be used as basic data necessary to understand the consumption behavior of cosmeceutical consumers, and will be meaningful in that it can contribute to the establishment of marketing strategies for the cosmeceutical industry in the future.

저소득 중년성인의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 회복탄력성에 따른 매개효과

The purpose of this study is to examine whether resilience mediatesin the relationship between meaning in life and subjective well - being of low - income middle - aged adults. For this purpose, 410 respondents from 6 vocational rehabilitation centers in Gwang-ju city completed the questionnaires on the meaning of life, subjective well - being, and resilience. In order to investigate the relationship between the main variables of collected data, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS program. In order to investigat the mediating effect of resilience in the relationship between meaning of life and subjective well – being, Sobel test was performed. The main results revealed that the meaning of life in low - income middle - aged adults has a statistically significant effect on resilience and subjective well - being. Also, resilience played a mediating role in the effect of life meaning on subjective well - being. Based on the results of this study, suggestions for future research and implications were discussed. 본 연구의 목적은 저소득 중년성인의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 회복탄력성이 매개하는지를 검증해보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 광주광역시 소재 저소득 취약계층 대상 일자리 지원 사업을 진행 중인 6개 자활센터 참여주민 410명을 대상으로 삶의 의미, 주관적 안녕감, 회복탄력성에 대한 설문을 진행하였다. 수집된 자료로 주요 변인들 간의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해 SPSS프로그램을 이용한 상관관계 분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였고, 저소득 중년성인의 삶의 의미와 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 회복탄력성이 매개하는지를 알아보기 위하여 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 밝혀진 주요결과는 저소득 중년 성인의 삶의 의미는 회복탄력성, 주관적 안녕감에 정적인 영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 저소득 중년성인의 삶의 의미가 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 회복탄력성이 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의하였다.
