In this paper, we propose a new wafer level package (WLP) for the RF MEMS applications. The Film Bulk Acoustic Resonator (FBAR) are fabricated and hermetically packaged in a new wafer level packaging process. With the use of Au-Sri eutectic bonding method, we bonded glass cap and FBAR device wafer which has groove-shaped via formed in the backside. The device wafer includes a electrical bonding pad and groove-shaped via for connecting to the external bonding pad on the device wafer backside and a peripheral pad placed around the perimeter of the device for bonding the glass wafer and device wafer. The glass cap prevents the device from being exposed and ensures excellent mechanical and environmental protection. The frequency characteristics show that the change of bandwidth and frequency shift before and after bonding is less than 0.5 ㎒. Two packaged devices, Tx and Rx filters, are attached to a printed circuit board, wire bonded, and encapsulated in plastic to form the duplexer. We have designed and built a low-cost, high performance, duplexer based on the FBARs and presented the results of performance and reliability test.

Purpose: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) possess highly variable clinical behaviors and the study thereof is insufficient. There are no standard guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of GISTs, so it is difficult to predict recurrences and conduct appropriate treatments. Throughout the last 10 years of experiences with GIST patients, we have identified the variables predicting recurrences and classified the risk groups by NIH classification, Fletcher risk stratification and UICC TNM stage. Methods: From January 1998 to December 2007, 88 patients with pathologic confirm and surgical resection were diagnosed with GISTs. GISTs were diagnosed when the tumor had characteristic histologic features and confirmed positive by KIT, CD34, or PDGFRA. Results: The size, mitotic index, existence of symptoms, and origins of tumor correlate statistically with recurrence (0.002, <0.001, 0.027, 0.011). The NIH classification, Fletcher risk stratification and UICC TNM stage are correlated with recurrence (0.001, <0.001, <0.001) and 5 year disease free survival, statistically (0.009, <0.001, <0.001). Fifteen patients experienced recurrences. 14 patients were treated with imatinib, and 6 of them showed a response to the treatment. All 4 patients who had R1 resection did not survived due to the progression of the disease. Conclusion: The patients with large, high mitotic index, symptomatic, or extra-gastric tumor require strict surveillance. Also, patients with low risk must be under surveillance due to the possibility of recurrence. It is important to perform R0, en bloc resection. Although the imatinib is the treatment of choice with recurred or metastatic GISTs, the disease is likely to develop resistance, further studies on newly targeted therapy is in need.
사철쑥(Artemisia capillaris Thunberg)의 영양성분 분석

약용으로 많이 쓰이고 있는 사철쑥(Artemisia capillaris Thunberg)의 다양한 이용도를 높이고자 일반성분과 영양성분을 분석함으로써 다양한 영양성분분석 자료를 제시하고자 한다. 사철쑥의 성분은 조단백질 14.12%, 조지방 4.80%,조회분 2.30%, 조섬유소 8.10%이었으며, 무기질 함량은 K3295.02 mg%, P 2787.01 mg%, Ca 1436.01 mg%, Mg 172.32mg%, Fe 21.23 mg%, Mn 18.02 mg%, Na 8.11 mg%, Cu 1.24 mg%, Sn 0.002 mg%이었고, 비타민은 β-carotene 18602.00μg%, ascorbic acid 5.82 mg%이었다. 사철쑥에서 가장 많이 함유되어 있는 지방산은 oleic acid(C_(18:1))로 23.86%였으며, 포화지방산이 46.67%, 단일불포화지방산이 33.40%, 다가불포화지방산이 19.83%, P/S는 0.42로 나타났다. 20여종의 아미노산이 검출된 사철쑥의 총아미노산 함량은 1345.29 mg%이고, 아미노산 중 proline, tyrosine, asparagine, glutamic acid 및 valine이 각각 438.58 mg%, 310.20 mg%, 120.30 mg%, 118.66 mg%, 88.02 mg%으로 79.95%를 차지하며, 필수아미노산은 176.83 mg%으로 13.11% 함유되어 있었다. 이상의 결과는 사철쑥은 일반성분, 무기질, 비타민 및 지방산, 아미노산 등이 다양하게 함유되어 있다. 이는 사철쑥이 식품으로서 영양적 가치가 있는 것으로 사료된다. A. capillaris Thunberg is often used as a medicinal herb. This analysis on A. capillaris Thunberg, showing its natural ingredients and nutritive elements, is to provide a better understanding of its content and help find more various ways of use. The ingredients of A. capillaris Thunberg are as follows : 14.12% of crude protein, 4.80% of crude lipid, 2.30% of crude ash, 8.10% of crude fiber, and the rest of the ingredients are vitamins and minerals. Minerals are 3295.02 mg% of K, 2787.01 mg% of P, 1436.01 mg% of Ca, 172.32 mg% of Mg, 21.23 mg% of Fe, 18.02 mg% of Mn, 8.11 mg% of Na, 1.24 mg% of Cu, and 0.002 mg% of Sn, and vitamins are 18602.00 μg% of β-carotene and 5.82 mg% of ascorbic acid. Fatty acids in A. capillaris Thunberg are of 23.86% of oleic acids (C18:1), 46.67% of saturated fatty acids, 33.40% of monounsaturated fatty acids, and 19.83% of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Oleic acid(C18:1) is the most abundant fatty acid in A. capillaris Thunberg. P/S is 0.42. A. capillaris Thunberg contains about 20 kinds of amino acid. The total amount of amino acids is 1345.29 mg%, which can be divided into 79.95% of amino acids and 13.11% of essential amino acids. This 79.95% of amino acids consist of proline, tyrosine, asparagines, glutamic acid, and valine with amount of 438.58 mg%, 310.20 mg%, 120.30 mg%, 118.66 mg%, and 88.02 mg% respectively. The essential amino acid is 176.83 mg% . It is shown that A. capillaris Thunberg contains various nutrients such as minerals, vitamins, fatty acids, and amino acids, so A. capillaris Thunberg can be regarded as a highly nutritious food.

Traumatic diaphragmatic rupture is quite uncommon and rarely lethal injury. However, delayed presentation between the injury and the diagnosis can cause a life-threatening condition with various complications such as intestinal hernia, obstruction, strangulation, respiratory distress. Here, we present a case of delayed presentation of traumatic diaphragmatic rupture in a 51-year-old man, and then discuss about the clinical implication of delayed presentation of diaphragmatic rupture with a review.

In order to increase the utility of the protein isolates and blood which most of them were discarded and causes the pollution problems, protein isolates and blood plasma were made to spun fibers in order to give texture to the protein. Their use in the meat products and microbiological safety were examined. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. When protein isolates from liver and lung, and blood plasma were mixed with sodium alginate, the mixture flows pseudoplastically and could be spun into fiber easily. The pH adjustment of the mixture could not increase the tensile strength of the spun fibers. 2. Sausages having 10% of the blood plasma fiber were accepted without much change in the texture and color but addition of 20% of blood plasma fiber gave low acceptability. More acceptable soup could be made using bone protein which was extracted by water and high pressure extraction than by atmospheric pressure extraction. 3. The protein isolates spun fiber were found to be safe in terms of the food poisoning microorganisms.

The purpose at this study is to find out the problems and to suggest the alternative design elements in the building process of the traditional-style temple architecture in modern Korea. In particular, it examines the characteristics, the layout changes, and circulation system emerging from the construction of large outdoor Buddha statues that are recently built in many temples including the main research project Gagwon temple of Mt.Taejo in Cheonan-si.
