        In Korea, it has constructed many apartments and buildings since 1960 year. Aldo, reconstruction of buildings increases to reform housing condition. Recently, the amount of the construction and demolition wastes has rapidly increased due to increasing construction projects. Illegally, without any treatment, so various harmful environmental pollution problems were occurred In order to respond to interest and regulations in sustainable environment which is increasing, construction industry need to establish a sustainable production system. when generation of wastes can be diminished and recycling of them raised in the construction site as a part of a sustainable production system, it might contribute to not only establishing a sustainable production system but also gaining economical profit. In this study, we classify construction waste in construction phase, analyze the process from its occurrence to disposal, and present the framework of development for construction waste management system applied with RFID.

        실시간 모니터링 시스템 프로토타입 개발에 관한 연구

        The construction industry has coped slowly with the changes followed by the technology of robotics and IT so far, which is different from other industries. This is because the construction industry consists of unfixed time and place, not repetitive construction process, and labor intensive production structure. Recently, the construction industry is trying to use high IT technology to manage the construction effectively, to increase the productiveness, and to strengthen the competitiveness because of the external factors such as increase of raw material prices, higher labor costs, and a shortage of labor. A study of "Automation for constructing the structures of a high-rise building based on the robotic crane" is also for grafting IT, mechanization, and automation of the construction industry, in which several universities and construction companies participate supported by the Ministry of Land, Transport, and Maritime Affairs. One of the parts in this study is a research called developing the real-time monitoring system. This is a system that sends the information about material supplies, hauling heavy materials, installation, and construction procedure to the robots and the workers, since the hardware like a robot should be developed to automate the steel frame work, but the system to support is also required. Accordingly, this study is to establish the database to support the real- time monitoring system, which is essential for the steel frame work using the robotic crane, and to verify through a prototype.

        A mathematical model describing epithelial transport of the early distal tubule was formulated based on the principles of mass conservation and maintenance of electroneutrality within the cells and luminal and interstitial solutions. Solute movement across membrane is assumed to occur passively by electrodiffusion, active transport, and/or cotransport Although the model was formulated for the early distal tubule, it is independent of the specific membrane transport mechanisms, and can be used to evaluate different epithelial cells by including different transport mechanisms. This model allows both transient and steady-state responses under open-circuit and voltage-clamp conditions. For specific purpose here, this model includes apical Na^(+), K^(+), Cl^(-) permeabilities and NaCl contransport, and basolateral Na^(+), K^(+)-ATPase and K^(+) and Cl^(-) permeabilities. In evulating this model, model results in response to changes in luminal Na^(+) in open-circuit case and transepithelial potential in closed-circuit(voltage clamp) case were subjected to the test of reasonability.

        The purpose of this study is to compare the results between conventional and accelerated rehabilitation program following ACL reconstruction using bone-patellar tendon-bone. Conventional rehabilitation focused on protecting the new ligament by blocking terminal extension and avoiding active quadriceps function in the terminal degrees of extension. But there is current trend toward early postoperative mobilization and intensive. so called 'accelerated', rehabilitation stressing hyperextension of the knee. The results of intraarticular ACL reconstruction with conventional and accelerated rehabilitation were prospectively compared for one year postoperatively in a series of 27 patients. Range of motion and thigh circumference were checked preoperatively, and weekly up to 8 weeks, 3 months. 6 months, and 1 year postoperatively. Stress radiologic test, KT-1000 arthrometer. Cybex II dynamometer were checked in preoperatively, and 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year postoperatively. There were no differences of objective stability and restoration of muscle power. But the accelerated group had a low incidence of extension loss. excellent range of motion, and less difference of thigh circumference. We concluded that accelerated rehabilitation program is recommendable due to superiority in terms of range of motion, especially less extension loss without increasing laxity of knee joint.

        종골분쇄 골절후에 발생한 족지의 Checkrein deformity - 1례 보고 -

        Checkrein deformity of the great toe may occur after fracture of the distal third of tibia. It is due to adhesion of flexor hallucis longus muscle to callus. Characteristic finding is shaply flexed great toe at ankle dorsiflexion and complete interphalangeal joint extension at ankle plantar flexion. We experienced a patient who had severe flexion deformity on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th toe and diagnosed as checkrein deformity of the lesser toes arised from calcaneal fracture. We can' t find any report of checkrein deformity after fracture of calcaneus and we think this is very rare case. In operative field, we found fibrous contracture of quadratus plantae muscle which was adhered to flexor digitorum longus tendon. And we performed tenolysis, adhesiolysis and flexor digitorum longus tendon lengthening. 11 months after operation the patient showed excellent result with correction of the deformity.

        주관절 탈구를 동반한 요골두 분쇄골절의 Swanson prosthesis 치환술 - 치험 3례 -

        Radial head resection is the accepted treatment of comminuted radial head fractures in adults, but the results are not always satisfactory. A number of well-known problems can ensue. These include chronic elbow and wrist pain, limited of motion, cubitus valgus, proximal radial migration, and new bone formation at the site of excision. Prosthetic replacement of radial head after excision offers theoretical advantages in the prevention of these problems. We are reporting three cases of patients, who had treated Swanson silastic prosthesis after comminuted radial head fracture associated posterior dislocation of the elbow.

        장관골 개방성 골절의 즉시 내고정(24시간 이내) 치료에 대한 임상적 고찰

        The major goals in the treatment of open fractures of the long bones are to prevent infection, avoid malunion or nonunion. achieve bone union, and restore limb and patient function as soon and as fully as possible. The treatment modalities adopted in open fractures still remains controversial. especially in Gustilo-Anderson Type III. It has been c fear of infeclion that has lead to the trsditionaliy accepted opinion that immediate intemal fixation of open fractures is contraindicated but, nowadays, it is no longer taboaed. Owing to the early meticulous wound debridment and inigation, and the use of bactericidal antibioiics. the infection rate reduced remarkably. Fifty-five cases of open long bone fractures treated by immediate internal fixation within 24 hours from inury were reviewed, which were treated at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Soonchunhyang Univcrsity hospital for nine and half years from June, 1985 to January, 1995, The results were as follow: 1. There were 20 Type 1, 19 Type E A, 10 Type g B and 5 Type 5 C open fractures treated by immediate internal fixation within 24 hours following to Gustilo-Anderson's classification. 2. The most common causes of open fractures were traffic accident(84%). 3. The associated injuries of the patients treated by immediate internal fixation were in sequence.:26 multitraumatized patient, 5 arterial injuries, 5 musculotenxdinous injuries, 3 major joint dislocations and so forth. 4. Normal bony union was achieved in 41 patients(73.2%), Delayed bony union was in 7 patient(12.5%) and nonunion in 8 patients(14.5%). 5. Primary wound healing was achieved in 40 patients(71.4%). superficial to moderate infection were in 5 patients(9%), deep to osteomyelitis in II patients(19.6%). 6. According to the subtypes of open fractures, deep to osteomyelitis were 80% in Type E C, 30% in Type II B, 10.6% in Type E A and 10% in Type II.

        대퇴골 골절시 금속판 내고정술후 발생한 금속부전증

        From January 1991 to August 1996, we experienced 17 cases of metal failure among 150 cases of plate fixation of femur fracture. We analyzed the cases and obtained the following results: l. Among 17 cases, 15 cases were closed fracture and 2 cases were open fracture. In 11 cases, the fractures were located on the midshaft of femur and most of them was segmental or comminuted. According to AO classification,14 cases(82%) were type B(B1:1, B2:4) and C(C l:7, C3;2). 2. The interval between initial operation and metal failure was 8 months on average. 3. The cause of metal failure were bone defect remaining after initial operation, fragment necrosis due to periosteal denuding of large free bone fragments, early weight bearing, selection of inappropriate implants and improper operation technique. 4. Plate breakages were occured in l 1 cases and screw fractures and screw loosening in 6 cases, Most of plate breakage was due to remaining bone defects, and most of screw fractures and loosening was due to inappropriate implants and improper operation technique. In conclusion, accurate preoperative evaluation on the fracture site, fracture pattern. and appropriate selection of internal fixative are important for proper bone healing. Based upon our result, we suggest semiopen technique with minimal soft tissue injury and initial early bone graft for bone defect.

        60세 이상의 고령에서 발생한 대퇴 경부 골절의 치료 : 골유합술 및 양극성 고관절 성형술의 비교

        Study design. Seventy femoral neck fractures in the elderly patients aged over 60 years treated with osteosynthesis or primary biploar arthroplasty were assessed on complication and functional outcome at final follow up. Objective. To compare the results of femoral neck fractures in the elderly patients aged over 60 years treated with osteosynthesis or primary bipolar arthroplasty retrospectively. To know the indications of each method. Summary of Background Data. Althrough the osteosynthesis method had preservation of hip joint, primary osteosynthesis method had possibility of major complications as nonunion and avascular necrosis of femoral head. Methods. Seventy patients with intra-articular femoral neck fracture were treated with osteosynthesis in 33 patients(group 1) and primary biploar arthroplasty in 37 patients(group 2). A comparartive analysis of age, sex, type of fracture, initial displacement of fracture, method of treatment, fixation device type, quality of reduction, operative time, blood loss at operation, complication and functional outcome at final follow up were performed. Results. The female was more three times than male. The mean ages were 70.1 years old in group 1 and 73.3 years old in group 2. In group I, complications such as non-union and avascular necrosis of femoral head were significantly greater in the subcapital fractures and Garden s stage 3, 4 than the transcapital fractures and Garden stage I, 2. In operative method, blood loss and operative time were significantly greater in the group 2 than in the group, l. Seven major complications(avascular necrosis: 6 cases, non-union: 1 case) occurred in group 1, two major complications(death: 2 cases) occurred in group 2. The functional outcomes were superior to the group 2, hut it may be due to high complication rates in group 1. Conclusions. This study suggests that the important factors that intluenced the clinical results were type of fracture, initial displacement of fracture, quality of reduction. So in relatively poor healthy patient, subcapital fracture and displaced fracture, best choice of treatment is the bipolar arthroplasty.
