        수치심 기억과 도식적 신념이 편집성향에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to clarify the effect of shame memory on paranoia and social anxiety, based on the study of Matos, Pinto- Gouveia, & Gilbert (2013). Shame has been conceptualized as a self-conscious emotion that focuses on the negative aspects of the self, but this study also notices that shame may be related to the perception of social put-down, neglect in interpersonal relationship. The three types of shame memories were measured; the internal shame memory, external shame memory, and external-humiliative shame memory. On the basis of threat anticipation model of paranoia, it is hypothesized that negative self and other schema mediate the relationship between the external-humiliative shame memory and paranoia. The effect of each shame memory on paranoia and social anxiety was analyzed. The results of regression analyses suggest that paranoia was predicted by the external-humiliative shame memory, and the social anxiety by internal shame memory. The negative beliefs about the self and others showed a partial mediation effect in the relationship between external-humiliative shame memory and paranoia. Implications, limitations and suggestions for future study are discussed.

        조사방법 차이가 정치적 태도 조사결과에 미치는 영향: 중앙여심위 선거여론조사 통합자료 분석

        This article examines how different polling methods affect the survey results on voters’ political attitudes and where differences in the survey findings originate if the polling methods matter. Using original data on the characteristics of election polls in Korea from 3 months before three elections between 2017 and 2020, we find that ARS-based election polls overestimate the major parties’ approval rates, underestimate the ratio of non-partisans, and drop overall response rates. However, the polling methods significantly affect differences in the survey results only if response rates are low. This study concludes that ARS-based election polls cause the undersampling of those who are politically indifferent. This article contributes to the survey methods literature by highlighting the role of polling methods in the sampling of respondents. 이 논문의 목적은 한국 선거여론조사에서 조사방법의 차이가 유권자의 정치적 태도 측정에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하고, 그 원인을 밝혀내는 것이다. 본 논문은 2017년에서 2020년까지의 세 차례 선거에서 선거 3개월 전부터 선거 직전까지 이루어진 전국단위 여론조사에 관한 데이터를 구축하여 경험적 분석을 진행하였다. 먼저, 전화면접 대비 ARS 조사비율이 높을수록 여론조사에서 주요 정당 지지율을 과대 추정하고, 무당파 비율을 과소 추정하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 조사방법의 차이가 정당지지자와 무당파에 미치는 영향은 응답률이 낮은 설문조사에서 높게 나타났다. 따라서 조사방법에 따른 조사결과의 차이는 유권자 중 ARS 조사에 응답하지 않을 가능성이 높은 정치적 무관심층의 표집문제에 기인한 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 표집의 차이와 조사방법의 차이가 실제 정치적 태도에 미치는 영향을 밝혀내고, 표집탈락률과 응답률에서 그 원인을 찾았다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

        Combined Method of Neuronal Cell-Inducible Vector and Valproic Acid for Enhanced Gene Expression under Hypoxic Conditions

        BACKGROUND: Gene therapy shows the ability to restore neuronal dysfunction via therapeutic gene expression. The efficiency of gene expression and delivery to hypoxic injury sites is important for successful gene therapy. Therefore, we established a gene/stem cell therapy system using neuron-specific enolase promoter and induced neural stem cells in combination with valproic acid to increase therapeutic gene expression in hypoxic spinal cord injury. METHODS: To examine the effect of combined method on enhancing gene expression, we compared neuronal cellinducible luciferase levels under normoxia or hypoxia conditions in induced neural stem cells with valproic acid. Therapeutic gene, vascular endothelial growth factor, expression with combined method was investigated in hypoxic spinal cord injury model. We verified gene expression levels and the effect of different methods of valproic acid administration in vivo. RESULTS: The results showed that neuron-specific enolase promoter enhanced gene expression levels in induced neural stem cells compared to Simian Virus 40 promoter under hypoxic conditions. Valproic acid treatment showed higher gene expression of neuron-specific enolase promoter than without treatment. In addition, gene expression levels and cell viability were different depending on the various concentration of valproic acid. The gene expression levels were increased significantly when valproic acid was directly injected with induced neural stem cells in vivo. CONCLUSION: In this study, we demonstrated that the combination of neuron-specific enolase promoter and valproic acid induced gene overexpression in induced neural stem cells under hypoxic conditions and also in spinal cord injury depending on valproic acid administration in vivo. Combination of valproic acid and neuron-specific enolase promoter in induced neural stem cells could be an effective gene therapy system for hypoxic spinal cord injury.

        Effects of dietary enzyme cocktail on growth performance, intestinal morphology, and nutrient digestibility of weaned pigs

        Soybean, one of most widely used swine feed component in the world, contains non-starch polysaccharides (NSP). The digestive system of weaned pigs is not yet fully developed, and thus weaned pigs cannot easily digest diets based on corn and soybean meal. Dietary exogenous enzymes supplementation has been intensively investigated to assist digestion of anti-nutritional factors, such as NSP. This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary enzyme cocktail on growth performance, intestinal morphology, and nutrient digestibility of weaned pigs. A total 36 weaned pigs (5.92 ± 0.48 kg BW; 28 d old) were randomly allotted to 2 dietary treatments (3 pigs/pen, 6 replicates/treatment) in a randomized complete block design. The dietary treatments were a typical diet based on corn and soybean meal (CON) and CON with 0.05% enzyme cocktail (Cocktail; mixture of xylanase, α-amylase, protease, β-glucanase, and pectinase). Pigs were fed their respective diets for 6 wk. Growth performance, morphology of ileum, apparent ileal digestibility (AID) and apparent total tract digestibility (ATTD) of dry matter, crude protein, and energy of weaned pigs were measured. No significant differences (p > 0.05) were observed for growth performance for the duration of the experimental period, and morphology of ileum, and nutrient digestibility between CON and Cocktail treatment groups. Therefore, the results from the current study indicated that enzyme cocktail supplementation in diets had no influence on growth performance, intestinal morphology, and nutrient digestibility of weaned pigs.
