        한국자원봉사자의 자원봉사활동 지속의지의 영향 요인

        본 연구에서는 한국자원봉사자들을 대상으로 자원봉사활동의 지속의지에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여, 자원봉사자의 중도탈락을 줄이고 지속적인 활동을 유지하기 위하여 자원봉사활동에 대한 인정보상과 참여동기가 자원봉사자의 참여지속의지에 어떠한 영향을 미치며 직무만족은 어떠한 매개효과를 나타내는지를 실증적으로 살펴본다. 이를 위해 자원봉사활동의 인정보상요인, 참여동기요인을 독립변수로, 직무만족도를 매개변수로, 참여지속의지를 종속변수로 모형을 구성하여 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 인정보상요인은 자원봉사자의 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 반면 참여동기요인은 직무만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무만족도 는 자원봉사자의 참여지속의지에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. This study aims to understand factors which have influences on Korean volunteers's will to continue their activities, what effects approval and compensation, and participation motivation have on their continuance will and what mediating effects their satisfaction have on it in order to decrease their falling off and promote them to continue their participation. For the purpose, this study used the model with approval and compensation, and participation motivation as independent variables, job satisfaction as a mediating variable and continuance will as a subordinate variable. As a result of the analysis, it was discovered that approval and compensation had a significant influence on their job satisfaction while their participation motivation did not have a significant influence on their job satisfaction. Also, their job satisfaction had a significant influence on their continuance will.

        Biomarkers could be critical and useful tools for assessing the biological effects of smoking and detecting differences between potentially reduced exposure product (PREP) and conventional cigarettes. Smoking-related biomarkers can be classified into three categories as biomarkers of exposure, biomarkers of effects, and biomarkers of potential harm. When compared with the biomarkers of effects or harm, the biomarkers of exposure for chemical constituents of cigarette smoke are well established and characterized. In addition, they could offer the important information in understanding how cigarette smoke interacts with biological molecules and causes the disease to human. Therefore, we provide an overview of 6 biomarkers of exposure (Nicotine and nicotine metabolites, Carboxyhaemoglobin, NNAL (4-(methylnitrosoamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanol) and NNAL - glucuronide, 3-Hydroxypropyl-mercapturic acid, and Monohydroxy-butenyl-mercapturic acids, and Urine mutagenicity) which were validated through extensive research and clinical experience. These reliable biomarkers could help identify the efficacy of PREP by predicting early toxicological effects and lead to improve it.

        CaCO<sub>3</sub>을 이용한 혼합매질분리막의 이산화탄소 투과도 향상

        With vigorous development of petroleum and chemical industry, emission of carbon dioxide has attracted tremendous attention globally due to global warming problem and abnormal climate change. To address these problems, in this study, a PEGBEM-g-POEM graft copolymer with high $CO_2$ affinity was synthesized and $CaCO_3$ was incorporated to form mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) for enhancement of $CO_2$ permeance. By varying the addition weight of $CaCO_3$ in MMMs, high separation performance of $CO_2$ over $N_2$ was obtained. At 50 wt% loading of $CaCO_3$, the greatest separation performance was obtained with an enhanced $CO_2$ permeance from 22.5 to 28.16 GPU and slightly increased $CO_2/N_2$ selectivity from 44.7 to 45.42. It resulted from the increased $CO_2$ solubility of MMMs due to specific interaction between $CaCO_3$ and $CO_2$ molecules. Upon excess loading of $CaCO_3$, MMMs exhibited loss of $CO_2$ separation performance due to the formation of interfacial defects. Based on this result, it is considered that the proper addition of $CaCO_3$ is crucial for improvement of $CO_2$ separation performance.

        촉진수송: 기본 개념 및 기체분리막 응용

        고분자 분리막은 가격이 저렴하고, 쉽게 제조가 가능하며, 투과도와 선택도가 우수하여 수처리 분야뿐만 아니라 기체분리에서도 중요한 역할을 한다. 하지만, 고분자 분리막은 일반적으로 투과도와 선택도의 역상관 관계를 나타내는 단점 이 있다; 즉, 투과도가 높으면 선택도가 낮고, 선택도가 높으면 투과도가 높다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위한 방안 중의 하나 가 촉진수송이다. 지난 수십 년간 촉진수송 이론은 촉진수송 분리막 제조에 있어 매우 중요하고 다양한 모델을 제시하는 데 에 핵심적인 역할을 하였다. 한편, 촉진수송에서 주된 역할을 하는 운반체의 특성, 매질의 유동성 및 고분자 복합체의 물리화 학적 성질 등을 이해하는 것은 중요하다. 운반체의 유동성에 따라 촉진수송 분리막의 종류를 3가지로 나눌 수 있다; 즉, 이동 상 운반체 분리막, 준이동상 운반체 분리막, 고정상 운반체 분리막. 또한 촉진 운반체가 특정물질과 상호작용하는 데에는 4가 지 종류의 가역반응으로 나눌 수 있다; 즉, 수소원자 전달 반응, 친핵성 첨가반응, 파이-착체 반응, 그리고 전기화학 반응. 이 러한 촉진수송 분리막은 이산화탄소, 산소, 올레핀(프로필렌, 에틸렌)의 투과도를 선택적으로 향상시키는 역할을 한다. 이와 같이 본 총설에서는 다양한 촉진수송 분리막에 관련된 주요 연구내용과 이러한 연구를 수행하는 대표적인 전략들을 소개하 고자 한다. Polymer membranes are cheap and easy in fabrication, and show a high permeability and selectivity, thus play pivotal roles in gas separation as well as water purification. However, polymer membranes typically exhibit the trade-off relation between permeability and selectivity; i.e. when the permeability is high, the selectivity is low and vice versa. Facilitated transport has been considered one of the solutions to address this issue. Over the last decades, facilitated transport concept had played an important role in preparing the membranes and providing ideal and various models for the transport. Understanding the nature of carrier, the mobility of matrix and the physico-chemical properties of polymer composites are crucial for facilitated transport. Depending on the mobility of carrier, facilitated transport membrane is classified into three; mobile carrier membrane, semi-mobile carrier membrane, fixed-site carrier membrane. Also, there are four types of reversible reaction between the carrier and the specific target; proton transfer reaction, nucleophilic addition reaction, p-complexation reaction and electrochemical reaction. The facilitated transport membranes have been applied in the separation of CO2, O2 and olefin (propylene or ethylene). In this review, major challenges surrounding facilitated transport membranes and the strategies to tackle these challenges are given in detail.

        양친성 고분자가 그래프팅된 Poly(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne) 기반의 프로필렌/질소 분리막

        Hydrocarbons containing carbon double bonds are generally called olefins and it is extensively used in petro-chemical industry as essential base material. Especially, olefins are essential in polymer synthesis and thus the effective separation and purification of olefins from gas mixture are very important and it gives significant positive effect on the future industrial development. In this study, we fabricated polymeric composite membrane based on poly(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne) (PTMSP) for propylene/nitrogen separation and enhancement of its separation performance by grafting amphiphilic copolymer. Furthermore, to accelerate facilitated transport for propylene molecules, Ag salt (AgBF4) and ionic liquid (EMIM-BF4) was incorporated to polymer composite membranes. The neat PTMSP membrane exhibited extremely high gas permeance and low gas selectivity due to its high free volume. To address this issue, PTMSP was grafted with poly(oxyethylene glycol methacrylate) (POEM) and poly(ethylene glycol) behenyl ether methacrylate (PEGBEM). Additionally, the additives such as AgBF4 and EMIM-BF4 further increased the propylene permeance, resulting in increment of propylene/nitrogen selectivity.

      • 옥수수 수염의 물 추출물이 혈압에 미치는 영향

        Zea mays Linne, which belongs to Graminae family, has been ordinarily used as edibles and fodder. Its stigma, Maydis Stigma, has been discarded without any special application with the exception of being used as diuretic in the sphere of Chinese medicine. Moreover, the pharmacological research toward Maydis Stigma as a medicinal herb has not been regretfully undertaken at all. The authors hereby paid attention to this point of view and made experiment to find out whether the water extract of Maydis Stigma might possess some pharmacological effect on the blood pressure of the rats or not. $LD_{50}$ to the mice was determined and the experiment was performed making the use of several agents related to the blood pressure such as atropine, Avil, dichloroisoproterenol and hexamethonium. The blood pressure of the rats and rabbits was recorded with the equipment of polygraph (Grass model 7 DAB) and its accessory, Statham pressure transducer. The results of the experiment are as follows. 1. $LD_{50}$ to the mice weighing 20g is determined 1,125 mg/kg. 2. The blood pressure manifests the gradual decrease by the rate of $-15.50{\pm}3.32,\;-22.14{\pm}8.73$ and $-46.25{\pm}5.17\;mmHg$ in proportion to ZW 25, 50 and 150mg/kg administered to the rats. 3. The blood pressure also manifests the same gradual decrease in proportion to ZW administered to the rabbits. 4. It is of significant difference to manifest the increase of $+5.14{\pm}4.65\;mmHg$ in the rats pretreated with atropine as compared with $-22.14{\pm}8.73\;mmHg$ of control group when administered each ZW 50mg/kg. 5. The administration of ZW 50 mg/kg to the rats pretreated with Avil, dichloroisoproterenol and hexamethonium does not manifest the significant difference in comparison with the control group.
