The cyclone/annular denuder system/filter pack sampling system(ADS) was used to collect the acidic air pollutants in Chungju city. The data set was collected on forty-one different days with 24 hour sampling period from April 16, 2010 through January 24, 2011. The chemical species measured were HNO3, HNO2, SO2 and NH3 in the gas phase. Mean concentrations for this study were: 0.6 ㎍/㎥ for HNO3, 3.0 ㎍/㎥ for HNO2, 12.9 ㎍/㎥ for SO2, 4.3 ㎍/㎥ for NH3. HNO3 and NH3 were higher during the summer. However, HNO2 and SO2 were higher during the fall and winter.

Physico-chemical characteristics of municipal solid waste(MSW) are very important factors for managing MSW. Also these factors are needed to estimate the type and the capacity of MSW treatment facilities. Actually the management of the MSW treatment facilities are often poorly accomplished because the evaluation of the MSW treatment facility have been carried out without considering the data-base for the characteristics on MSW. Hence, it is necessary to measure the characteristics of MSW for establishing the facilities with accurate data-bases about MSW. Analytical investigations were carried out to study physicochemical characteristics and heating values analysis of MSW generated from various sources in Chung-Ju city. Samples were collected at chung-ju city and were conducted for ultimate and proximate analysis. The physical compositions of combustibles of house were 89.7∼94.0% and non-combustibles of house were 6.0∼10.3%, the apparent densities were 204.7∼309.7 kg/㎥. Chemical compositions in houses were C 46.1∼46.7%, H 6.2∼6.4%, O 37.3∼37.7%, N 1.9∼2.0%, S 0.3∼0.4%, Cl 1.2∼1.4% and ash 6.1∼6.3%. Low heating value of the house in chung-ju city showed 1,879∼2,124 kcal/kg and high heating values were 4,504∼4,541kcal/kg.

A major debate has revolved around the role of uncertainty in organizational imitation. One line of research has emphasized that uncertainty facilitates an organization's willingness to imitate prestigious leaders. The other has highlighted constraints that uncertainty imposes on an organization's ability to imitate. However, few studies have systematically examined how an organization actually responds to the discrepancy between willingness and constraints on ability triggered by uncertainty and how such organizational responses contribute to macro-changes in organizational forms and market structures. Focusing on the competing influences of uncertainty, our study offers a more nuanced conception of imitative behavior. Through a longitudinal study of mimetic entry into new markets in the management consulting industry from 1977 to 2003, this paper shows that under uncertainty, organizations tend to resolve the discrepancy problem by limiting the scope of their imitative behavior and that such local imitation, coupled with local competition, has a complex effect on mimetic changes in market positions. This study also finds that the scope of local imitation varies according to a firm's affiliation network, timing of market entry, and past search outcomes, each of which differentially affects the uncertainty surrounding an organization's decision to enter new markets. Theoretical and practical implications derived from our main argument about uncertainty and local imitation are discussed.

We have many foggy days around Chungju region. So we have studied effects of fog and foggy days with statistics year book. Especially we have analyzed the changes of foggy days before and after construction of Chungju dam. According to the results in 1990-2000, foggy days showed 81.3 days a year, average value of acid rain indicated pH 5.1 in Chungju on 1999, highest temperature and lowest temp. were 20.05℃ and 6.59℃, value of highest relative humidity was 76.6% in Sep., and longest frosty days were 25.0 days in Dec..

Environmental data in Chungju district in relation to air quality were studied. Informations on air quality dealing with specific pollutants, which are SOx, NOx, O3, CO, particulate and acidity of rain were reviewed and analyzed. All results were compared with environmental ambient air quality standards and especially influences by specific pollutants could be forcasted in short and long terms in this area. Also it is expected that this study will be utilized usefully in all other related fields.
