실수 선부호기를 이용한 새로운 차등 시공간 변조 설계

기존 Zhu가 제안한 준직교 기반의 차등시공간변조(Differential Space-Time Modulation, DSTM)는 복소 선부호기와 준직교 시공간블럭부호를 연접하여 차등변조기법으로 전송함으로써 수신단에서 채널 정보 추정 없이 2개의 복소 신호들에 대한 독립적인 복조, 즉 준직교 차등복조가 가능하다는 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 준직교 기반 Zhu-DSTM를 기반으로 복소 선부호기 대신 실수 선부호기를 사용함으로써 수신단에서 2개의 실수 신호들에 대한 독립적인 차등복조가 가능하게 하여 수신 복잡도를 더욱 줄일 수 있는 새로운 DSTM를 제안한다. 전산 실험 결과 제안된 기법은 기존의 준직교 기반 DSTM들과 거의 같거나 향상된 성능을 가짐을 확인할 수 있으며 따라서 수신 복잡도 및 수신 성능 측면에서 큰 장점을 가지게 된다. The conventional Zhu’s differential space-time modulation(DSTM) based on quasi-orthogonal design adopted a complex precoder in order to allow an independent joint detection of two complex symbols without any channel informations at a receiver. In this paper, by simply replacing the complex precoder used in Zhu’s DSTM with a real precoder, a new DSTM is presented for four transmit antennas. The real precoder enables the receiver to decode two real symbols pair separately, and thus the new DSTM has greatly reduced decoding complexity compared to the Zhu’s DSTM. By computer simulation results, the proposed scheme is shown to exhibit almost identical or improved error performance compared to the existing DSTMs.

한국 청년세대의 꿈-자본 측정

이 연구는 한국의 청년세대가 미래를 꿈꾸는 방식과 연관된 여러 중요한 내용들을 서베이를 활용하여 측정, 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구의 이론적 바탕에는 꿈-자본의 개념이 있다. 부르디외의 자본 개념을 적극적으로 활용하며, 우리는 행위자가 미래를 상상하는 힘, 희망의 감정을 품는 힘, 낙관적 태도를 견지하는 힘, 그리고 난관을 이겨가는 힘으로 구성된 총체적 능력인 꿈-자본을 형성하여 다른 자본들을 향한 동기로 활용한다는 관점을 취하고, 이를 실증적으로 탐구해 보고자 한다. 또한 청년세대가 꿈을 이루어 가는 경로와 꿈의 내용, 그리고 꿈을 경영하는 방식에 대한 탐구도 시도한다. 이를 통해 이 연구는 한국 청년의 미래 표상에 대한 경험적 탐구를 위한 기초를 마련해 보고자 한다. 꿈-자본 연구는 청년의 이질성을 분석하는데 중요한 실마리를 제공하고 있다. 기초적 분석 결과는 청년세대의 꿈이 이질화되어가고 있다는 것을 보여주고 있으며, 교육수준의 차이가 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 시사한다. This research explores the various ways in which the young generation in South Korea today dream about their future, using the survey questionnaires specifically designed for this purpose. “Dreamcapital” serves as a theoretical framework in the research. Building on Bourdieu’s concept of capital, this study theorizes that dream-capital functions like a seed, facilitating the accumulation of other capitals. It is composed of four dimensions: imagination, hope, optimism and resilience. Furthermore, this study examines the process of dream formation and management as well as its content. This paper aims to lay the foundations for further research on the dream and values of this young population. The research on dream-capital helps examine the divergence within the young generation. The basic analysis indicates that the ways in which the young population dream about their future vary, and a significant portion of this variation is explained by the difference in the educational attainment.

??이 논문은 휴대전화가 변화시킨 우리의 사회적 삶의 다양한 모습들 중에서 특히 휴대전화를 사용하는 인간의 체험구조의 변화상에 초점을 맞추어, 이를 이론적으로 탐색하려는 시도이다. 이를 위해서 휴대전화의 사물성에 대한 현상학적 탐구를 시도하여. 그것이 언제나 사용자의 ‘손’에 부착되어 있는 일종의 보철이자, 사용자의 신체를 재구성하는 하나의 장치임을 보일 것이다. 더 나아가서 휴대전화가 사용자의 체험을 특수한 방식으로 구조화하는 경향을 첫째, 산만한 지각 환경이 유도하는 체험의 파편화의 경향과 둘째, 휴대전화 사용에 동반되는 가상 피막의 형성이 야기하는 모나드화임을 보일 것이다. 마지막으로 이 주체성을 소위 후기근대의 ‘성찰적 개인’과 연관시킴으로써 모바일 테크놀로지가 형성하는 ‘모바일 성찰성’의 가능성을 이론적으로 탐색한다. This article attempts to explore theoretically the way how mobile phone transformed the structure of experience of the its users. From a phenomenological point of view, we will show that mobile phone is, beyond being a simple instrument of communication, a kind of prosthesis embodied in the hand of users, and also an apparatus reformulating human body. On the basis of this argument we will show how mobile phone structures human experiences in the following two points. Firstly, mobile phone facilitates the tendency of fragmentation of experience favored by the distracted perceptive environment enforced by mobile technology. Secondly, mobile phone facilitates the tendency of monadization favored by the formation of virtual membrane. Finally, we will relate this feature to the reflexive individual of which speaks Giddens to theorize it under the name of mobile reflexivity.

마음의 부서짐

이 연구는 세월호 참사 이후에 한국사회가 체험한 집합 심리의 주요 현상인 우울을 정치적으로 해석하려는 한 시도이다. 나는 이를 파커파머의 논의를 빌려 마음의 부서짐이라는 관점에서 접근한다. 세월호 참사가 가져온 마음의 부서짐은 무고한 희생자들의 참혹한 죽음과 더불어 시민의 안전을 지켜 주어야 하는 국가에 대한 기초 신뢰가 붕괴한 것에 기인한다. 세월호가 야기한 집합 우울은 이런 점에서 두 가지 상이한 메커니즘으로 설명될 수 있다. 첫째, 프로이트의 관점에서, 세월호 사건의 진상 규명을 통한 사회적 애도가 불가능해지면서, 사건은 우울증적 주체를 생산한다. 둘째, 마틴 셀리그만의 관점에서, 세월호 사건은 시민의 주권자로서의 권리를 다각적으로 훼손함으로써 집합적 무기력을 학습시킨다. 민주주의는 주권적 우울의 내재하는 정치체제로서, 이 우울 형태에 대한 주목과 논의가 요청된다. This article attempts at interpreting the collective depression resulting from the Sewel ferry accident. I approach this national phenomenon from the viewpoint of the heartbreak presented by Parker Palmer. The heartbreak caused by the tragedy of Sewel ferry stems from the collapse of the myth of state which showed a total malfunction. In this respect, the collective depression can be explained by two different mechanisms. Firstly, from the perspective of Freud, we can say that the main factor of the depression is the impossibility of the authentic mourning signifying the truth ascertainment. Secondly, from the perspective of Martin Seligman, we can say that the main factor of the depression is the multiple and consecutive learning of the helplessness. This kind of depression seems to be inherent in what we call ‘democracy’, which needs more attention and research.

부정자본론

이 연구는 부르디외의 자본 개념을 집중 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 다음 세 작업을 수행할 것이다. 첫째, 부르디외 자본 개념의 내용과 특이성을, 그 이중적 속성을 중심으로 고찰한다. 둘째, 그의 상징자본 개념을 탐구한다. 상징자본은 사회적 인정을 획득함으로써 어떤 자본이 취하는 형식(form)으로서, 그 형성과정을 가리키는 상징적 변형(상징자본의 사회적 구성)의 논리를 해명하기 위해 부르디외가 원용한 뒤르케임의 토템분석과 프로이트의 부인(Verneinung) 개념을 검토한다. 마지막으로, 부르디외의 취향분석과 예술장/문학장 분석에서 특징적으로 발견되는 ‘부정적인 것’의 관점에 주목한다. 부르디외에 의하면 취향은 선호가 아니라 도리어 혐오의 능력, 즉 무언가를 부정적으로 배제할 수 있는 능력이다. 또한 예술자본은 사회적으로 부정적 가치들(가난, 고통, 질병, 광기, 죽음)이 예술적 성취와 함께 축성되어 만들어지는 경우가 있다. 양자를 총칭하여 나는 부정자본이라 부르기를 제안한다. 이 논의를 통해 부르디외 사회학에서 사회적인 것이 상징적인 것, 그리고 부정적인 것과 맺고 있는 깊은 연관의 의미를 성찰해 볼 것이다. This article aims at investigating in deep the concept of ‘capital’ as the nucleus of the Bourdieusian social theory. For this, it takes analysis in three steps. First, I argue that the singularity of Bourdieusian concept of capital lies in the emphasis on the psychological aspect of the capital. That is, the capital appears not only as the energy of the social but also as the object of desire attracting the social agents. Second, I attempt at clarifying his concept of symbolic capital which is not one type of many capitals but a specific form that any capital takes when it gets social recognition. Finally, focusing on the perspective of the negative, prevalent in Bourdieusian analysis of the taste and artistic capital, I argue that the most imporst form of symbolic capital can be called ‘negative capital’.

이 논문은 한상진의 중민 이론을 후기 근대적 상황에 맞추어 성찰하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서 중민이론의 기본개념과 분석틀을 살펴보고, 사회이론으로서 중민이론이 갖는 특징을 ‘실천적비판이론’이라 명명한다. 이어서 중민 개념의 중요한 의미소인 ‘中’을 집중적으로 분석함으로써 중민 이론이 양 극단의 중간에 대한 이론적 상상계 위에 서 있음을 보이고자 한다. 중민 이론을 좀 더 발전적으로 재구성하기 위해서 나는 중민 의식 대신 중민심을 탐구할 것을 제안하고, 그것이 한국 근대성을 근본적으로 특징짓는 생존주의를 초월하려는 집합적 심리로 구축되어 있음을 주장한다. 마지막으로 성찰적 노스탤지어의 감정구조를 분석함으로써 비판이론의 정서적 스탠스를 점검한다. This article attempts at reflecting on the Jung-min theory of Han Sang-Jin again in the context of late modern era. For this, I will examine basic concepts and frameworks of Jung-min theory, and by naming it praxeologico-critical theory, I try to reveal its strong points as social theory. I will also analyze the important semantic element of Jung-min theory which is the Jung(中) to show that Jung-min theory is established on the theoretical imaginary of communication. Finally I propose to explore the heart of the Jung-min instead of its consciousness, as a way of reconstructing Jung-min theory. And this will lead to the fact that Jung-min’s collective heart is oriented toward the transcendence of the survivalism which is fundamental tone of Korean modernity in terms of ethos of the people. Finally I will examine the reflective nostalgia, which would be the basic theoretical affect to reconstruct the Jung-min theory.

충청남도 도청, 시청, 군청 상징물의 다양성을 위한 연구

지방자치제도 이후 지자체의 모습은 빠른 속도로 현대화로 발전하고 있다. 특히 IT, 인터넷, 교통의 발달로 사회적 변화가 급속하게 생기고 있으며, 지역 간의 경계도 모호해져 가고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 지자체의 고유한 가치를 대표적으로 나타내는 상징물에 대해 고찰하고, 지역의 진정한 상징물에 대한 방향성을 디자인 관점에서 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 상징물은 지역을 나타내는 가치가 뛰어나야 하며, 가치성 있는 상징물을 지정해서 타 지역과의 차별성을 가지고 있어야 한다. 둘째, 지자체 및 주민이 상징물에 대해 능동적이고 적극적으로 관심을 가질 수 있도록 유도해야 하며, 주민들과 관광객이 상징물에 대해 공감대 형성이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 상징물이 있는 장소가 지자체와 연관성이 있거나 상징물의 노출이 홈페이지와 지역의 공간 속에서 자연스럽게 조화되어야 한다. 본 연구는 1990년대부터 만들어진 국내 지자체의 상징물들이 변화되는 시간 속에서도 지속가능한 상징가치를 가지고 있는지 확인하기 위해 지자체에서 사용하고 있는 상징물 현황을 고찰하고 비교분석을 통해 상징물에 대한 객관적인 판단의 기회를 얻고, 다양한 상징물이 지정되는 계기가 될 길 바란다. Since the municipal government, local governments have rapidly developed into modernization. Especially, IT, Internet, and traffic have developed rapidly and social boundaries have become blurred. Therefore, this study examines the symbolic representations representing the inherent values of the local government and presents the direction of the true symbolic of the region from the viewpoint of design. First, the symbol must be distinguished from other regions of the value of the area and the valuable symbolism. Second, the local governments and residents should be encouraged to take active and active interest in the symbol, and the consensus of residents and tourists should be formed. Third, the place where the symbol is located should be related to the local government or the exposure of the symbol should be harmonized naturally in the space of the website and the area. The purpose of this study is to examine the status of symbols used in local governments in order to check whether the symbols of domestic municipalities made in the 1990s have sustainable symbolic values even during the changing times and to obtain objective judgmental judgment It is thought that various symbols will be used.

파우스트 콤플렉스:

이 연구는 아산 정주영의 자서전과 연설문 등을 분석함으로써 한국자본주의의 마음을 탐구하려는 사회학적 시도이다. 이론적으로 이 연구는 막스 베버의 문화사회학에 기초하되, 이를 ‘마음’ 개념을 중심으로 변형한 모델을 사용한다. 정주영이 표상하는 한국 자본주의의 마음을 우리는 파우스트 콤플렉스라 부른다. 정주영의 파우스트 콤플렉스의 핵심은 발전에 대한 강렬한 열망과 낙관주의, 그리고 생존주의이다. 이는 20세기 한국 자본주의의 발전을 특징짓는 심적 요소이기도 한데, 발전주의적 국가와 기업 그리고 자아의 연합이 결국 한국 근대의 성취를 가능하게 한 발전연합을 이룬다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 21세기적 문명사적 변환 속에서 우리는 이 생존지향적 발전주의의 대안적 가능성을 사유해야 할 필요성을 느낀다. This article attempts at exploring sociologically the Korean capitalistic heart represented by Jung Joo Young, by analyzing his biolographical and other discourses. Based theoretically on the weberian sociology of the culture, this research will make use of a modified model of approach. We call the Korean capitalistic heart represented and symbolized by Jung Joo Young, the Faust complex whose most important tenet lies in the strong aspiration for the development, the optimism, and the survivalism. These features are also the psychic factors underlying the development of 20st century Korean capitalism. So that the developmentalist state, enterprise, and self cooperated for the achievement of Korean modernity. However, with the advent of civilizational turn we should think of the alternative of this survivalist developmentalism.
